:drool::drool: oohh these i wouldn't be able to resist!! chocolate rice krispies are just wonderful and now they do them in chocolate orange... i have to avoid this aisle in the supermarket...

I am sooooooo stuffed after my tea.....I think I may need Mr D to roll me into the bedroom !! :o

I do feel rather virtuous tho - I've managed to finish the day on 4.5 syns :T (a penguin wafer)
BUT I have a cunning plan.........
tis the dreaded *week looming this week and those pesky fairies will be making me all moody & craving choccie something shocking by tuesday so I'm keeping a few of 'spare' syns in reserve each day between now and then for 'emergencies' ;)
not strictly speaking the way were supposed to do things I know :o....but I'd rather do that than risk a mass blowout:o especially as we have been talked into staying at BILs house for a few days next week to doggie sit for him & Its gonna throw me totally being out of my surroundings.

So ladies - If I dont manage to get on here for a few days....its because I havent managed to find a Dongle??? and what to do with it (I do hope he wasnt being rude)

Be good everyone :A I'll be back here ASAP x x

oh by the way I went to a Wetherspoons the other day and on the menu they had a salad, I forget what adjective they used (fresh? healthy? raw?) it was green bits (not lettuce, stuff with flavour), pomegranate seeds, raw green french beans, and other things, and I had a grilled salmon steak on top, the whole thing with a bottle of fizzy water was under a tenner and very tasty. There was dressing with, not on, the salad so you could choose.

Superfood Salad they call it, if I remember correctly. I've had it a couple of times now, tend to pick that if I end up meeting friends there for lunch, as I figured it must be the healthiest thing on the menu. Obviously there are so many hidden syns in lots of food when eating out, but I wouldn't think you could go too far wrong with this one.

OH told me something he read earlier. A recent scientific study found that women find different male types attractive depending on where they are in their menstrual cycle.
For example, when a woman is ovulating she will prefer a man with rugged, masculine features.
However when she is menstruating, she prefers a man doused in petrol and set on fire, with scissors stuck in his eye and a cricket stump shoved up his backside.

Sorry, but it made be laugh :rotfl:. Hope you feel better soon.

Would have loved for you to sort them out, just imagining you chasing round the gardens wacking them with your crutches :rotfl:.

Am dead on my feet and want my bed now, my tum is burning at the moment and I'm hoping its not going to be another night like last night.

  • TakeItEazy, Fingers crossed you sleep well tonight.

I had a good weekend SW wise. It was definitely required after DH "forced" me to have a cajun burger meal in a local pub on Friday. On the plus side, I only had a diet lemonade with it :j

    Yesterday:
BF : Usual (Wheatabix with SS Milk, Banana, apple, strawberries, 2 almonds(1))
Lunch: 60g pasta with sauce made with blended dyno rod soup, one-fourth tub of quark, sauted mushrooms with a bit of spinach and cherry tomatoes
Dinner: Milk Tea with a slice of toasted bread
    Snacks: Watermelon

    1 HEA, 2 HEB, 1 syn

    Today:
BF : Usual (Wheatabix with SS Milk, Banana, apple, strawberries, half tsp of honey(0.5))
Lunch: Mushroom and Lentil Loaf (contained 1 HEA cheddar cheese, green lentils, onions, mushrooms, one-third of a egg per serving)
Dinner: Milk Tea with a slice of toasted bread
Snacks: Watermelon, 4 jelly beans that they were giving away in Costco

    2 HEA, 2 HEB, 1.5 syns.

I am going to return to usual 10 syns from tomorrow as this weekend I was compensating for the indulgance on Friday.

WI tomorrow. I hope I loose some weight for good this time. I have been doing SW for a month now. But always tend to put on whatever I have lost :o. So fingers crossed

Incase anybody fancies the mushroom and lentil loaf, this is where I got the recipe from:

    http://www.minimins.com/slimming-world-recipes/183163-mushroom-lentil-loaf.html

The original recipe serves 4 but I used 84 g cheese instead of 112 gram and divided the loaf into 3 servings. I know I am greedy but it was surprisingly tasty even with marmite which I hate. Even DH ate it without any complaints.

I have had a sneaky weigh in just now and it seems, I have gained weight this week also. I am just not able to understand where I am going wrong . I have a wedding in second week of september and am now desperate to loose weight otherwise won't be able to fit in the dress I want to wear :o

I am definitely eating more than I used to before SW. Probably thats where I am going wrong.

Here is my meal plan for tomorrow

BF: 2 Weetabix, 250 ml SS Milk, 1 banana, 1 apple
    Lunch: Dyno rod soup
Dinner: 4 Ryvita crispbreads with mushroom, spinach and fromaige frais filling, served with grated carrot and cherry tomatoes
Supper: 250 ml SS Milkshake made with a drop or two of Vanilla essence
    Snacks: 1 pear, blackberries (100 g), strawberries (5-6), 1 nectarine, 15 grapes, 1 kiwi, Half small melon, 1 plum

2 HEA, 2 HEB and Syns(Whatever I fancy but will keep it below 10)

Morning! Weigh in and put on 1.5lbs which is not a surprise after a few bad days last week. Drawing a line under it and moving on though.

Morning all. I had a few naughties (ok more than a few!) at the party yesterday but it was only the one meal, not the whole day! Today I'm back on track with a green day:

    Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banana
Lunch - jacket potato, beans, nectarine
Tea - spaghetti, meatballs, (HEB), tomato sauce, cheese (HEA), salad
Syns - I might use a teeny bit of oil in the tomato sauce, otherwise probs won't have any to make up for naughtiness yesterday!
