The Kfc recipe is Luverrrrly I found that the 'sauce' kept well in the fridge so I could just make half a batch one day.....then do some more later in the week.

The graft seems to be doing a LOT better this time around thanks hun.....tis still sore (which I expected lol) and I'm on AntiBs to be on the safe side......but fingers crossed its going to plan and its only 4 weeks now until the 'metalwork' will be stable enough in the skull bone to accept the processor - so I will be LIVE FOR SOUND WITH A BIT OF LUCK :j:j:j:j wooohoooo I'll be able to laugh at a trump again :o:rotfl::rotfl:

Have a lovely time at the 40th Do tomorrow, take a fly swat for them pesky food fairies ;) x x

I've been trying very hard to be good, and doing pretty well, except for eating too much bread. Don't know whether it's just pure convenience as I never seem to have time during the day to make anything other than toast or cereal for breakfast and a sandwich for lunch. Tend to take pasta or rice salad for work, but that's only 3 days a week. Am also blaming it on being pregnant, as that was one of the few things I really wanted to eat all the time with my first pregnancy as well.

However, I have managed to stay the same since the start of the month, which considering I'm 5 months pregnant, technically means I've lost weight!! It's just being conterbalanced by increasing baby weight. Yes?!?

    Helllloooooo Blackers my lovely

How did your week of 'letting yourself be naughty with the food' go? did you actually manage it to maximum effect ??? :p;) x x

I must have done something "right" Dizzy cos I increased by 1.5 lb (but I am calling it 1 lb as my winter clothes weighed at least half a pound more than what I usually wear). Trouble is, I'm kinda carrying on being bad to myself, I can't figure out why. I am eating more junk than I have eaten in my whole life, and skipping proper meals. Not sure why, but blaming SAD as the weather is so dull and depressing.

Monkeynut, It's not widely loved but I manage OK with WW Brown Danish bread as a HEB. That means I can have 3 slices a day. Mostly I have a slice at breakfast with beans or egg and then that leaves 2 for a sandwich at lunchtime. I find it's best toasted (even for the sandwich) because it makes it chewy and far more substantial. Days (like today) when I have cereal for my HEB I'm really thrown by lack of bread.

I've had a much more SW friendly day today:

    EE menu
B: Puffed Wheat & milk (HEA&B), NAS squash, tea
    L: JP, beans, bacon, mushrooms
D: SW chicken curry with xtra veg, rice, SW chips
Snacks: to make up for lack of SF in meals-banana, strawberries, pear, pickled beetroot (probably not enough but I'll really hit it tomorrow)
    Syns: wine

So here I am at stupid o'clock sitting listening to foxes barking and suffering with chronic indigestion :(. That'll teach me not to have Chinese then. Am in so much pain and have run out of gaviscon :( feels like when I had a stomach ulcer, hoping this is not a recurrence. Really want to sleep but the pain is keeping me awake_pale_:cry:
