I do remember her posting that recipe but I think they were more like 4 syns.gunsandbanjos wrote: »Evening. I have had 2 very non SW days and feel fat!!
DDs surgery went well, we are home and very tired. Will be back on track tomorrow.
Glad it went well. I know what you mean about feeling fat after a couple of days off plan but you can't do that much damage in 2 days! get back to it as well as you can now and you'll be fine!
I had a choccy biccy at MIL's last night but that and whatever oil she used to cook the tea (possibly none as she did it in the slow cooker) were the only syns I had. Actually, that might not be right, she did fruit jelly for pud and I don't know if it was the sugar free one or not. i didn't have much though!
Today's food will be green, I think this is about the first day in my life that I've eaten totally vegetarian lol!
brekkie - banana, beans, egg, WM pitta (HEB)
Lunch - baked sweet potato, salad, dressing (5), melon
Tea - potato vindaloo, rice, salad, WM pitta (HEB2)
Snacks -fruit. Maybe a yogurt
I need to resuce my tomato plants tonight! They've got a bit top heavy and fallen over!0 -

Guns - glad you dd is doing well, don't beat yourself up over a couple of bad days.
At WI last night I lost half a pound so am bang on my target weight which I was pleased about as it's oh birthday tomorrow and I have arranged a nice day out and booked a table at a nice restaurant so it will be good to know I can have a pudding if I want one.0 -
hi everyone...
monday is my WI day...and usually on Fri or Sat i do start to think "have i done enough to have lost anything"...or "was i good enough..did i eat too much...":)
or is it just me....:eek:0 -
I'm going for an Indian meal tonight. Any low syn recomendations?
So far I'm thinking no alcohol & boiled rice - can't wait!
A few weeks back I had a chicken shashlik (grilled spiced chicken and veg on skewers), it hasn't got a sauce so should be quite low in syns. Stay away from anything cream based, and of course naan bread, and you should be fine.LBM Dec 10. Total unsecured debt £41176  Nov 12 Debt Free Thanks Mum x RIP x

Hi all,
Another pound lost for me this week, so that's 8lb gone since I started losing weight :j Am the lowest I've weighed in about 8 years! Would love to lose another half a stone. However, am going to Italy tomorrow  for 2 weeks! oh er! might have to put a bit more hard work in when I get back! Hopefully I won't put on more than a few pounds..but who knows..the ice cream is amazing there! I really don't want to undo all my hard work though.. oh we shall see! what a dilemma!
oh and have lost weight from my hands! my ring is a bit loose.. would have rather it came off my tum though..!

Sorry I haven't been around for a few days - the house is now finished:j
I'm now saving for the living room makeover -it will be a while yet though!
Ex-OH reappeared today and left me fuming and knowing that I've definitely done the right thing in asking him to leave. Why does being in a mood make you want to scoff all the wrong things?
I haven't succumbed yet (apart from a teeny glass of wine left in the bottle to settle my nerves!) and will endeavour not to go off the rails!
Trying to think of something yummy but syn free for tea that doesn't involve going to the shops - shops are a minefield of temptation, go in for an onion, come out with a family bag of Maltesers!:o0 -

YAY for the house - hope you told Ex where to get off!!!
What have you got in the freezer/cupboards??? We could help 'create' a new recipe for you!0 -
I think I'm resigned to the fact that if I can hold my own until after my next holiday in September I'll be doing well. I can't see me losing until holiday season is over.
Visitors staying last night so although I did a SW supper it would have been rude not to offer wine, and of course have some myself:) Today we've been sightseeing and as a compromise (to children in group) we had lunch at Pizza Express. I had Leggera and even light wine (not half bad) but no doughballs or pudding. There will be some good days this week, but today isn't one of them:o0
