  • I don't know if this recipe is advertised on the SW site, or is well known, but I have just come across it, so thought I'd share with you lovely bunch, because they sound yummmmmm
    CHOCOLATE AND MARSHMALLOW BROWNIES
    18g drinking choc (3.5)
    1 tbl oil (6)
    3 tbl cocoa powder (3)
    1 tbl baking powder (0.5)
    12g sweetner
    55g SR Flour (9)
    50g mini marshmallows (8)
    4 beaten eggs
    1 tbl vanilla extract
Preheat oven 180, mix all ingrediants in bowl (except marshmallows) and stir/whisk until combined. Fold in marshmallows and pour into 8" square lined cake tin (sprayed with frylight). When cool cut into 12 portions which equal 2.5 syns each.

Can't wait to have a go at these, they are right up my street :-)

MAMAN - Thanks very much, I can now see Avatars (BR it is gross). Also thanks for info on Betty's - better get it booked!

BLACKBERRY RUM - Let us know what you decided to do. I'm sure you're not a cow but you do sound confused (no pun intended) Don't let the new weigh in lady stop you from getting to your goal, as you say you're doing it for you. Have a word and ask her not to get too close and if she doesn't stop then have a word with your consultant - I think she would want to know cos if you feel like that then probably others do as well.

I am a weigh in person (wouldn't call myself a lady). We are all volunteers, our consultant gives us a magazine for helping but I would willingly do it anyway cos I love it. I am genuinely pleased for the 'losers' and try to be very supportive and positive to anyone who is struggling. I like our consultant very much but would love her to quieten down some of the ladies (and men) who will insist on talking when we are trying to listen to other people. I think our consultant is so nice she hasn't got the heart to tell them but as someone else said it is difficult to hear if someone is softly spoken or shy. x

Will be a little off plan today as have to spend all day in hospital, drives me crazy! We only need to see about 4 people but it usually takes about 7/8 hours:eek: Plus i spend most of it in the kids playroom with DD so will be sitting on the TINY kids chairs and end up with a really sore back. Still its only twice a year and needs done so best get on with it.

hope today goes ok g&b - I used to speend hours in paeds with DD1 - but as she was a teenager it wasn't playing....it was usually just waiting.......

WI last night - I lost 3lbs and got my 4 stone award! I was delighted - and relieved - I have put in so much effort this week!

Today is EE - breakfast is porridge and fruit (A+B)

lunch - prob salad and a scan bran

tea - smoked haddock + loads of veg..

Hectic today - going to theatre with DD1 and DD2 to see Legally Blonde.

DD2 then out for a birthday barbeque - sadly it is already hosing it down here!

WELL DONE YOU!!!! Great result. x
  • don't worry Juliejim I sinned it as 20 cals per syn, although it was 5 syns for half a jar. Only bought it because it looked like passata, won't be buying it again, will be making my own sauce I think! Sinned meatballs as raw mince out of my handbook.

Did really well until nine o'clock then undid it all with 2 bowls of crunchy nut cereal. Really craved sweet and had nothing else that would hit the mark, then a glass of wine. Not good, time of month and no chocolate around.

Back on Track today with a vengeance!! Green Day

B : Fruit Salad with Yoghurt
L : Mugshot 3 Ryvita HEB with cheese triangles (HEA)
T: Omelette with cheese (HEA) SW chips, peas, sweetcorn

S: Fruit and if really hungry save HEB for sweet eggy bread with fruit.

Love the sweet eggy bread with loads of fruit, found it in the magazine and found it really filling. 2 slices bread dipped in mixed egg with sweetner and cinammon, fried and eaten with banana and berries (blackberry picking loads for free fruit at moment)

Bought new work trousers a whole size smaller!! Must keep it off before I wear them in September!
