Well done Piglet!!
Well, I have 4 men in my house hard at work today - getting used to the Picadilly station effect now! People in and out all day.
I can't get in the kitchen for lunch and wasn't organised enough to make sarnies or something for lunch so will have to get something from the shop but will try to be good.
Other food....
Breakfast - banana
Lunch - anyone's guess!
Tea - mushroom burger, new potatoes and salad to use up some fridge stuff
Snacks - grapes and strawberries
Roll on tonight and the end of the epic house project!0 -
Happy birthday Annie - hope you have a good one x0

Thanks for the encouragement
Another week, another chance to have a good loss. I think if I could just get a healthy 2-3lb loss in this week, it'd give me such a boost! Found my old SW book and I used to have a good loss one week, not so good the next. So far I'm just at the "not so good" weeks all the time!
There's a few of our members who do exactly the same as this. Our consultant says it's quite common. Stick at it, you'll get there! x0 -
Just a quick one as we're about to leave to go to Devon (were supposed to leave at 5.30 but failed!). Thank you so much for the birthday wishes, I won't eat like a pig all day but am not going to worry about what I do eat.
Have a lovely day all, and I hope none of you has been affected by the mindlessness that went on overnight.
Have a great time in Devon. I have lived in Devon for 25 years and absolutely love it. x0 -
Started doing slimming world from home about 4 weeks ago and really pleased with the half a stone I have lost, even with lots of bad days.
Enjoy feeling full and not hungry all the time. Only have half a stone to go to my target now, but struggling with the summer holidays and being at home. Any tips anyone as I love fruit and veg but hate salad!:j

S : Banana, kiwi, melon, blackberries & ff nat yog
L : - stirfry vegs and egg noodles

You sound exactly like me - i absolutely hate salad but i am not that keen on fruit but love my veg
As long as you snack on your fruit & veg you should be fine
Lost 0.5lb this week - was hoping for more - but it is still a loss!
Its quite dissappointing, especially as all the exercise i have been doing!

Hello all, and Happy Birthday Annie and well done Piglet!
Quandary, and choices:
1. Go to class, pay £5ish, get weighed and be patronised by new weighing lady, get grumpy and tell consultant I'm not coming again for a while.
2. Go to class, don't pay but just nip in and tell consultant I'm not coming again for a while.
3. Send a text to consultant saying I'm not coming again for a while.
4. Bite the bullet, go to class, buy a 6 week countdown and BLOODY DO IT, ignoring the new weighing lady's patronising attitude (of all the class she is the one I cannot take to, and she gets kinda too close and touchy and knows it all and ... I know I'm a cow).:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

BR, I'm guessing that this is your only local class. I'm lucky in that I have loads to choose from so if I was in your position I'd try a different group.
If you can't then it depends how much you can trust yourself to go it alone. Personally, unless I'm really pushed for time I always stay to group (I'm not paying £5 just to use their scales) so I wouldn't do 1. 2&3 are options and unless you're really friendly with consultant then go for the text. I would rather tell her face to face myself and tell her why (in the politest possible way). Do these WI people get paid or are they just volunteers? Your consultant needs to know if she's got people helping who are putting her 'customers' off. 4 is what you need to do if you really feel you need a class to keep you on the straight and narrow. There is a 5th option which is just paying weekly so if you get really p'd (even more than you are now:rotfl:) off you haven't wasted money.
wendy, I did look but neither product is listed on SW website.
Feeling brighter today, have been for a stroll around shops and it cheers me up no end now that small sizes fit!!!
My EE menu:
B: NAS squash, HEB toast, tomatoes, mushrooms, scrambled egg, HEA milk for teas
L: Laughing Cow, tomato and cucumber sandwich, pearliver, onions, mash, cabbage and carrots, gravy from stock ad maybe peas
Syns: none
Snacks: other half of yesterday's melon0
