    Hi everyone,

Made sticky chicken last night and it was gorgeous!!! Think I will have to make it for tonights class as we are having a barbeque, can't wait. I've also started doing the couch to 5k and did week2 run1 yesterday. Loving it so far.

Just a quick one as we're about to leave to go to Devon (were supposed to leave at 5.30 but failed!). Thank you so much for the birthday wishes, I won't eat like a pig all day but am not going to worry about what I do eat.

Have a lovely day all, and I hope none of you has been affected by the mindlessness that went on overnight.

maman - hope you are enjoying your stay in york!

Betty's is unique - enjoy it - it costs a fortune and funnily enough I've only been about twice since we moved here 23 years ago!

Weigh in tonight - after last week I am SO desperate for a loss! yoe will all hear the screams if things don't go my way! Fingers crossed - I have stuck to it and worked so hard this week!

I am slightly tired this morning - DS got back from Spain at 1am! but he's had a great time, brought some money back with him and LOVES his newly decorated bedroom...

    2. Completely different topic: Anyone been to Aunty Betty's Tea Rooms in York? We are staying in York (courtesy of Tesco Rewards) and have heard that the tea rooms are great. Any comments gratefully received. I will obviously be saving my syns if I go!!!!! x

    Morning all!!

Confused - Betty's is LOVELY!!! They do, as someone else said, have lots of lovely cakes and sandwiches but they also do 'proper' meals and sandwiches too. I'd highly recommend their potato rosti if you've not been before. They do a breakfast one and several others. I once had one with smoked chicken and mushrooms which was devine!

Dizzy, I see you've been having SW KFC, do you have a recipe to share? I love southern fried chicken but its sooo naughty.

Well, you may or may not have noticed I haven't posted for a while. I've been a bit off plan I'm afrai. I've probably been atleast 80% good, except for yesterday evening which was a total write off! So, I'm back and I will stick to plan. I was 2lbs over target when I got weighed last week, I won't be going this week as we're out for a meal but by a week on Wed I'd like to be a max 1lb above target...bearing in mind I've probably put on atleast another pound this week!!

    So...food today will be EE:

    brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banana
Lunch - veg, small bit of mash (using up leftovers), sw corned beef quiche (2). Melon, yogurt
Tea - chicken, roast veggies, sw roasties, might do garlic mushroom sauce.
    Snacks - more fruit.
