Quick weigh in this morning and i have lost 1.5lbs:D
Will try and be good this week, wed/thurs will be hard though as DD is in hospital having surgery. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Morning All,
Really proud of myself - went out on Friday & didn't have a started or a desert - just stuck to my main - which was jacket, beans & mushroom omelette (which wasn't oily at all!) :A
I am hoping for a decent loss tonight - last week really got me down after a week of 100% i only lost 1/2lb  - this week i haven't been as good - couple of days over synned, but i have increased my exercise - still ache from Zumba on Sat!
I have decided to sell my exercise machines i have at home as i have joined the gym now! Anyone know the best place to advertise?
I am concentrating more on my exercise at the moment - to much disappointed from DH (he will never see me now :rotfl:) So this week i have Zumba on Tues, hopefully on Thurs (on the reserve list - if not i will go to gym) and Sat - but will fit in a gym session on either wed or fri - i have my gym programme being set up on saturday - hopefully (might have to cancel as family coming over!)
I can definately feel my body changing shape - even if i am not losing the lb's i think i am losing inches! :T
Had a lovely dinner yesterday - mum made the mexican bake from the may/june magazine issue, i made mexican beans & i made the syn free lemon mousse for desert
Need to plan this week - made a big pot of dyno-rod soup yesterday so have some meals with that - have some left over mexican beans for lunch today & another portion in the freezer
I really want to make a baked bean lasagne this week - just got to figure out when i can have time & i need to buy the main ingredient - baked beans :rotfl:
Good luck everyone x0 -

Hi guys.
I think I need a bit of encouragement/a kick/some lovin' before I quit!
I'm so disappointed with how slowly the weight is coming off. I did SW a few years ago and the first stone just dropped off, then I was averaging 4-5lbs every fortnight. This time its just slow.
Its not like I don't need to lose much - 50lb loss is my aim and even then the charts would probably say I need to lose 7-14lb more  I used to eat takeaways at least twice a week, huge lunches, cheese, chocolate, pasties and cakes! I've been so good - not eating bread for lunches any more, sticking to red/green days. I thought I'd lose weight fast just be stopping the bad habits, let alone doing the SW plan.
First week I lost 3lbs, but on reflection I think I weighed extra heavy at the start so that was more like 1.2-2lb loss. Then in the next 3 weeks I've lost a grand total of 3lbI just can't understand.
The only syns I have are coleslaw on my salad (3 for 100g) and I probably drink a bit too much milk during the day in coffee - but I don't go over 10 syns. I'm eating breakfast for the first time in years, usually have a salad for lunch then something red or green for tea.
I know averaging 1lb a week is healthy, but its going to take me a year to lose the weight at this rate. I knew it would get tough on the last stone or so, but I did think the first couple of stones would drop off. I'm no Kate Moss - I have a LOT to lose.
What am I doing wrong?! I don't even do the orange days because I understand why the food combining should work and the mix of red/green seems like cheating to me!!

I'm feeling a bit:(this morning too. I looked at my book and haven't really lost much in two months, it's all been about getting back to where I started after my holiday. I would be OK size-wise if I stayed just as I am now but I really want to get to target (2.5lbs) and maybe a little more. It's just so frustrating! BUT I WILL stick with it and hope scales are kind this week.
Today's EE menu:
B: NAS squash, beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas, pear
L: sandwich (tomato & cucumber?), satsumahuge stir-fry with Batchelors Golden rice
Syns: NONE!
Snacks: may start on a huge melon;)0 -

Help!
Hello, SO SORRY that you're feeling down about the weight loss. It often happens that although some people lose weight quickly, others unfortunately don't lose quite so quickly. It's also very frustrating when you lost more quickly first time round. I know you say it may take you a year to lose your weight at this rate but so what? Better to take a year than to not do the plan and (if you are anything like me) pile more on.
How about putting your daily food down on here and someone will take a look to see if there's anything that maybe needs 'tweaking'.
Try not to get despondent, we all feel like it sometimes but there's always someone around on here that will help out and give suggestions.
Good luck, chin up! you can do it!!!!!!! mm xx0 -

I feel just the same - frustrating isn't it? I am in the same position, I have messed about and for over six months and have ended up way outside of my target range (11 lbs !!!) Trouble is we know what to do don't we? As you say stick with it and we'll get there. x0 -
