I made the Scan bran ferraro rochers today. They are in the fridge as I write :-)

    Food today
BF: Wheatabix with SS milk, banana, apple and few raisins (3)
Lunch: Indian Meal that a friend cooked - nothing fancy - just a chapati, dahl curry and some potato curyr. I am not sure what the syn value would be but as a precaution, I haven't had any more syns
Dinner: 4 Ryvitas with filling made with mushrooms and spinach, omlette made with an egg, onions, tomatoes
    Snacks: Strawberries, cherries, peach, apple

It's a gastropub so it'll be just a few handcut chips:rotfl:and I've asked for celery/grapes with my cheese not crackers. I plan to enjoy it and then start afresh tomorrow.

    I counted 8 chips:rotfl::rotfl:

I've had wine, cheese and whatever oil in salad dressing but not tooooo bad overall.

    Hi
I have just started SW. I am curious to know how many syns are in 'Mugshot noodles chicken flavour'. My friend said they are free on extra easy (which is the plan I am following since I started today), however I cannot find a syn value for the mugshot in any of the books.
    Thanks in advance.

hi curvy, it is either free or 1 syn, I think i'm right in saying the mug shots that say 1% fat are the free ones and the ones that say 2% are 1 syn each. I personally don't count syns for any of them, but I am a rebel :rotfl:

    Morning All

Curvy c - the chicken one is free

Maman - NAS squash is free so don't worry about drinking that.

How often do u weigh in at home?

I'm not going to class at mo, no time or money.

Started this Mon and had a weigh in this am, I have lost 5lbs!

Know the weekend is on it's way, but think the weight loss will encourage to be extra good this
    weekend.

Taking 2 ds out on a day trip today, so will have a good breakie, eggs and toast and just have fruit during day.

Only got 21 in total to lose so 5 lbs is loads.

This thread as helped so much, thank you all for your posts.

Blackberry and Annie - hope you're both feeling better today? Its rubbish having a day when nothing goes right isn't it?

I actually slept right through last night for the first time in about a year - feel loads better and am raring to go. Good job as I've got loads to do before the carpet fitting and floor laying men come tomorrow - in my mind it'll be like a Diet Coke moment - two young rippling men with tops off being all manly and efficient, in reality it'll be two middle aged blokes with bellies and bums hanging out!:rotfl::rotfl: Oh well I can live in hope! That's how exciting my life is at the moment!

    Food wise...
    Breakfast - banana
Lunch - bagel (last one and will not have any other bread related products), strawberries
Tea - meat free garlic kiev, new pots and any salad that needs using up before I have to turn the fridge off

There will be snacks too I'm sure but can't think what yet.
Right better get cracking - have a good day!

    .

I don't go to class anymore either (got to target and then didn't have or inclination to keep going).
I weigh at home on a Saturday morning (my scales weigh the same as the ones in class). I do try to keep it just to this but I am guilty of occasionally jumping on the scales mid week - not a good idea as its not a true reflection of what's really happening over the week and can really put you off if the scales show a gain or STS.

Thanks Maman and Susie you are both right, I was so down about my 1lb increase this week (in the past I've been up and down and it's never bothered me). Too late for extrasuperfree today mind, I am TREATING MYSELF WELL as recomense for:
    1. finding a maggot (still alive) on the GF grill when doing breakfast yesterday, binned breakfast
    2. realised hadn't cooked egg yet so popped into microwave on half power x 1.5 mins. Except I put it onto 10.5 mins. Explosion.
    3. today did similar thing when warming up my coffee at breakfast = roiling boiling coffee.
    4. said wd do neighbour's ironing, she pays me £10 has done for years, while inflation has happened in real life and her pile of ironing gets bigger and more boring. They didn't bring it round til 6.30 by which time I was GRUMPY. Did it in a bad humour and....
    5. as a treat (treat?) went to co-op for food and got 3 indian dishes totalling approx 600 cals, heated half and ate. TASTELESS.
    6. So now having a glass of wine to recompense for tasteless supper.

I could cry at my stupid life sometimes and it's not as if it's terrible things is it :rotfl: I think I need to get out more. Hope our Dizzy is ok after her op.

We all struggle with days like that! Hugs and coping vibes to you!
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
  • hi everyone,

hope you're all ok and looking forward to the weekend. i lost another pound this week - after STS again last week i am mighty pleased! i have been angelic this week and not too bad at the weekend. the list of yummy stuff i have refused is about a mile long :A! at work this week have been sitting next to the table where everyone puts cakes, chocolate, biscuits etc, and have not let a crumb pass my mouth! sometimes it's easier just not to have any isn't it, i know once i start i find it hard not to carry on. we hot desk at work and think i might choose a different desk next week, not sure how much longer my willpower can hold! had a NSV this week too - got into (and bought!) two size 12 dresses from oasis :) i think they'll look a bit better when i lose a few more pounds but they look good as it is and i was very surprised i could get the zips done up etc! :j i go on holiday  in a week and hoping to lose another pound before then - but the way my snail-like weight-loss is going i'm not holding much hope! will keep trying though!

hope everyone has a lovely weekend xxx
