CreditCrunch - well done on the loss, keep going and you will be at target in no time. You may find you need to increase your superfree to keep the losses coming especially as you get nearer target.

Redbull - good luck tonight, you can do it.

Just back from the bank sorting out my new finances with the help of a mortgage lady and a financial advisor - almost 2 hours!
BUT they were both very helpful and very understanding (about the OH separation situation) and have effectively made me debt free! They had to explain it a few times as it seemed to good to be true but it is real!

A MASSIVE WEIGHT OFF MY MIND!!!:):)

AND I weighed this morning and have lost 1.5 lbs!!

Oh brilliant news, I'm really pleased for you :j:T

Been on holiday for a few days and eaten everything in sight so I have to buckle down now and aim for a slim and healthy autumn - hey ho, it's a constant battle isn't it?
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Been at hosp today to have my 'magic ear graft' looked at. Well - its not fab news :( the hole in the grafted skin that had developed where some of the scabby stuff came off is right down to my skull.....and it too big to be 'pulled over and stitched' so Ive got to go in on Thursday this week & have a skin graft taken from my thigh to re do the dodgy bit *sigh* I'm having this done under Local anasthetic so I will be out & back home by mid afternoon at the latest - but I'm not looking forward to it very much (still,it will keep me away from the food cupboards before WI on Thurs night ha ha)

Ooh, sounds painful, but perhaps it will make for slim thighs :rotfl:(sorry, just looking for the silver lining).

Good luck with it all :)

The odd thing is that, although I only lost a measly pound which nearly made me cry, I can now do trousers up that didn't even meet round my middle last week.

That is what we call a NSV - a non scale victory!

I only lost .5lb in my first week!

Did you take your measurements when you started? on bad weeks (like this week) I look at my measurements when I started and reflect on how far i have come - nearly 4 stone off, 7 inches off my boobs, 6 off my waist and nearly 12 off my hips!

I have thrown out loads of my old clothes but I have kept the jeans I was struggling to get into at the start - a size 22! My size 16s are now getting loose and the 22s look like clown trousers.....

    Good luck and keep going....

WW - glad to hear your news...

    Morning all!
I've just about come back to earth after my good news yesterday, although funnily enough I was awake for a lot of the night thinking about it all - why? It was good news!

Anyway, congratulations to all of the losers and those with their NSVs - it all helps to give you a boost doesn't it?

    Today's food...
    Breakfast - banana
Lunch - bagel (not good I know but low fat, they have to be used up) (think this takes care of any B choices I may have had, although its not a B choice really!), grapes
Tea - either jacket potato, beans and cheese (A choice) or leftover veggie curry and rice
Snacks - strawberries, maybe something from the graze box, ice lolly (1.5 syns)

Right off to walk the dog in a minute

    Morning all!

WW that's fab news! As i read your post I thought 'i wish that could happen to me' then I realised that actually the only debt I now have is £700 finance for my sofa which is interest free anyway. In the last year I have got rid of my mortgage (by moving in with DH who had paid his off), my car loan and my student loan. Just trying to get some savings now!! The next few weeks at work will decide how well that goes as I will either be made redundant or put on shifts which luckily is the most likely outcome and also means I would get a 33% payrise!!!

Dizzy, hope your op goes well today. Will be thinking of you x

Today's food will be green. I have decided that I am going to try doing a meatfree evening meal once a week both for health and financial reasons. I don't want to use quorn as that defies the object a bit (although I do use it sometimes as I like it, OH has the real meat though!).

    Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banana
    Snack - fruit
Lunch - couscous (1), ham (3), salady bits, yogurt
    Snack - more fruit
Tea - 2 potato vindaloo (not made as hot as vindaloo though!), rice, salad

So I need another B and maybe an A, I might have some cheese on toast or a cereal bar for supper.

Great news WW, you deserve it.

    Good luck Dizzy:A

I'm out of bananas which has thrown my usual breakfast into disarray! I like my routine:o

    :oHad coffee already(A)
Breakfast will be weetabix(1/2B) and maybe an apple and a cup of tea(A)
Lunch HM soup, bread(B), maybe beans?

Dinner will most likely be pasta or chilli, will see how i feel later. Actually, will have chilli, baked potato(or wedges) and salad.
