  • hi all, hope everyone is ok, not been on for what seems like ages, and scanned through quickly everyones messages. 2 that stuck out were poor welshwoofer and dizzy. Hope all goes well for you dizzy when you return back at hosp, and its good to hear you are coping well WW, who needs men??? I don't :D

Congrats on all the losses, people who are gaining or STS, I sympathise as I truly understand this feeling. I reached my target last week, and today I weighed in and gained a pound. I haven't done anything different this week at all, didnt have extra HE's or treats, most target ppl can have extra goodies, oh no not me, I follow it 100% and gain

Anyway please keep my seat warm for me on the target sofa, cos I WILL BE BACK!! may not be for a week or so, as I am having a flexy weekend (first one since April) so I think its deserved.

I plan on eating a caramel do-nut oh yes come on son, come to mumma :rotfl:

I'm feeling more positive today. I know I'm on plan so I just need to persevere!

    Today's EE menu:
B: NAS squash, HEB toast, baked beans, HEA milk in teas
L: ham and some stir-fried veg, with 2 Pagen (odd but I have a tin of beansprouts that I opened and forgot to cook:o)
D: chicken casserole with onions, leeks, carrots, celery, mushrooms & butter beans with cabbage and some sort of potatoes

Snacks: I'll have fruit at some point as I didn't have any SFs with breakfast
Syns: cornflour in casserole (tbsp between 2 of us)

Morning all - some very exciting news Not diet related, apologies)...........

Just back from the bank sorting out my new finances with the help of a mortgage lady and a financial advisor - almost 2 hours!
BUT they were both very helpful and very understanding (about the OH separation situation) and have effectively made me debt free!:j:j
Basically, I currently have an interest only mortgage with a repayment endowment thingy supposed to repay it in 15 years time - I've never been overly comfortable with this (the risk etc) and wanted to change it anyway. They advised I cash the endowment in (approx £25,000) pay off my only debt (£12,000 left on a loan) and put the rest to the mortgage. THEN, swap the mortgage onto a normal repayment one over the same term as the existing one and hey presto I have NO DEBT (apart from mortgage), the mortgage payments are approx the same as they are now, and I have reduced my monthly outgoings by £350!:T:T
They had to explain it a few times as it seemed to good to be true but it is real!

The credit search revealed that I have the best rating possible (was surprised at that;)) and the mortgage has been accepted and is going through as we speak!

A MASSIVE WEIGHT OFF MY MIND!!!:):)

So it'll need a bit of financial jiggerypokery for the next month whilst everything is set up but from Sept I'll be debt free and have more surplus cash - hurrah!

AND I weighed this morning and have lost 1.5 lbs!!
Must be the decorating and finally sticking to the plan:T I'm almost back to where I was now (2lbs to go and then I'm 1lb below target).

    Food for today...
    Breakfast - banana
Lunch - pasta and sauce (including milk, A choice)
Tea - veggie curry (still haven't made it but fancy it today)

    Snacks - strawberries and grapes

Right off to make food - am starving
  • thanks maman :-) i'll be moaning next week when I have gained half a stone lol xx
  • Fab news Welsh Woofer, pleased for you, good things happen to those who deserve them :-) xx

:D That's brilliant news WW on the SW and finances front:T It must be the Body Magic in the decorating!

I assume it's your own place and you don't have to 'buy out' ex. I'm not surprised it took a while for it to sink in. And you'll have a pay rise for your promotion. The sun is certainly shining on you. Great News!
