Was feeling very
when logged on as put on 1lb at WI:mad:
But just reading about remembering clown trousers and increasing superfrees when close to target has really cheered me up! Thanks:)
I've not had a bad week so I think it's just those last few pounds eluding me. I've not got a good week coming up (socially yes/SW no) but I'm going to write my meal plan/shopping list with SF/SS in mind and have as many good days as possible. The world won't come to an end if I hover round this weight while enjoying life!
Todays EE/flexi menu:
B: NAS squash, HEB Puffed Wheat, HEA milk and tea, banana
L: LO casserole and satsuma(out) moules, steak & chips, cheese board, wine
Syns: It's a gastropub so it'll be just a few handcut chips:rotfl:and I've asked for celery/grapes with my cheese not crackers. I plan to enjoy it and then start afresh tomorrow.
Can I ask about squash? I have a large glass every day as a substitute for fruit juice with my breakfast. Despite what it says in the books only No Added Sugar seems to be available these days rather than 'sugar free'. Is that OK?
Hope all is going well dizzy, thinking of you:A0 -
I signed up with a new consultant a fortnight ago and have been in hospital or recuperating since. The bad news is that I've not been sticking to plan - the good news that I've lost loads of weight anyhow. Because I was out of it and the new consultant wass on hols for a couple of weeks I haven't been able to let anyone know I'm not able to get to weigh in. Does anyone know if SW will put my subs on hold in a case like this? Thanks0

hi
does anyone have any idea how many syns are in the average chinese chicken curry,
i know boiled rice is free, and the only curry sauce i can find in the book is under "fish and chip shop portion" as 6 syns, but this is the nearest thing i can find.
anyone any idea, 6 seems low....

It's a year or so now since I retired, but I think it's likely that they will suggest that you rejoin as it's by far the cheapest way. I don't know if there's a facility now to 'hold' your weekly fees but it used to be at the Consultant's discretion - the electronic membership probably put paid to that
You will get new books again, which, if I were you, I'd put on eBay and you will recoup your money and probably more besides.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

I'm the same as you maman, i gained a 1lb this week and have a few things going on over the next 8 days or so, so i won't lose it this week thats for sure. If anything i expect about a 3lb gain
Hope you have a top week though, like you said the world won't stop turning if you have some good days/nights out, lifes for living afterall
Sorry can't respond to the squash as I have no idea, but I would say if it has calories in it then I would assume it would need to be synned x0 -
Breakfast and lunch were good, got waylaid at dinner though! Oops, will be 100% tomorrow:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Thanks Maman and Susie you are both right, I was so down about my 1lb increase this week (in the past I've been up and down and it's never bothered me). Too late for extrasuperfree today mind, I am TREATING MYSELF WELL as recomense for:
1. finding a maggot (still alive) on the GF grill when doing breakfast yesterday, binned breakfast
2. realised hadn't cooked egg yet so popped into microwave on half power x 1.5 mins. Except I put it onto 10.5 mins. Explosion.
3. today did similar thing when warming up my coffee at breakfast = roiling boiling coffee.
4. said wd do neighbour's ironing, she pays me £10 has done for years, while inflation has happened in real life and her pile of ironing gets bigger and more boring. They didn't bring it round til 6.30 by which time I was GRUMPY. Did it in a bad humour and....
5. as a treat (treat?) went to co-op for food and got 3 indian dishes totalling approx 600 cals, heated half and ate. TASTELESS.
6. So now having a glass of wine to recompense for tasteless supper.
I could cry at my stupid life sometimes and it's not as if it's terrible things is it :rotfl: I think I need to get out more. Hope our Dizzy is ok after her op.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Evening
I think I've had a good day food-wise, although I've been in a rotten mood too. DS has got a friend sleeping over tonight and although I've dying to go to sleep now I can't, the last time I went to sleep before them I was woken up at 5am and they hadn't gone to bed yet - they're 11.
So my green day has been like this:
oats, berries, yog (b)
Jacket potato and cottage cheese with some fresh coriander and a squeeze of lime juice (lush, and free)
2 ryvita and cheese (a and b)
2 nectarines (it may have been 3, can't remember) and a banana
a chickpea and spinach pot from Mr S, no idea on the syns but it was essentially a veggie curry with rice. The ingredients were all free other than oil, so I'll say 5 and not worry about it.
Half a divine chocolate orange bar (again no idea but half a terry's choc orange bar is 5 so I'll say the same)
Half a melon
And some more cheese (a)
I don't really like guesstimating this much, but I'm reasonably confident that I haven't done too much damage, and am not planning on eating anything else today.
Have a good evening all and keep up the good work!Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -
Hi
I have just started SW. I am curious to know how many syns are in 'Mugshot noodles chicken flavour'. My friend said they are free on extra easy (which is the plan I am following since I started today), however I cannot find a syn value for the mugshot in any of the books.
Thanks in advance.0
