Are you using any eye cream or gels? I've just given up on one which promised to make me look younger ... and has left my upper eye lids and browlines flaking, red and puffy with twice as many folds as i had to begin with!

Definately not any facecreams, I don't usually put anything on my face most days. Make-up is about once a fortnight too!
Are you sure its not hayfever? The pollen count has been all over the place lately and I know people that have never had it before suffering all of a sudden - I, on the other hand, am a 30 year veteran of hayfever!
You could try some antihistamine drops from the chemists to see if thats the case? They're about £4. Pollen makes my skin sensitive too - itchy and a bit sore but there's nothing to see so OH thinks I'm making it up!
    Just a thought?

That thought never crossed my mind at all, seeing as i've never suffered with hayfever before! The skin thing sounds totally like mine, so I will have a look into it, thanks :j

Think all no added sugar drinks ( ie lemon flavoured water) etc are all free on SW. Including squashes as well.

All Diet fizzy drinks are free on SW. I am a diet coke addict have been in a love love relationship for some years :o

I know its not great for us but there is nothing intrinsically dangerous about it aside from the phenomenal amount of caffeine I tend to consume and the headaches that happen if I reduce caffiene. In saying that some people drink a lot of coffee and no one says anything to them! ;)

I really like diet fanta as well ( you dont see it much) the lemon one is especially nice and diet orangina but Im not sure this is Syn-free anyone know?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    Just a quick question....

Stewed apple is a B choice on the SW website but it has 2 different weights listed - 198g or 396g.
Whats the difference? Is one a Speed food and the other not? Confused!

    I had 180g worth.

Please don't apologise, I love it. Your lunch sounds lovely, I think I'll have a go at Mrs. M's burger, do they freeze? x

the burgers freeze really well, I get 8 burgers from a 500g xtra lean pack of mince from MrA and freeze them in 2s laid out on cling film.

hope you enjoy bettys Tea rooms (the scones there will be far superior to the one Ive had I'm sure.....well worth waiting for ;))

...I think i'm going to change my WI to Thursdays (not sure why that day though :rotfl: ) and I'm going to try my hardest this monday to thursday for 100% days!

Not been feeling top of the world either recently, my skin just seems really 'sore'. It looks fine, just feels really raw all of the time :( AND my eye's have been giving me jip, they are really itchy too and do look slightly sore. I think it might have been my mascara, but it's never done this before and i've had it since xmas... maybe i'm due some new make-up. I have been moisturising a lot to see if that helps, but it's early days at the moment.

I went shopping the other day too and just felt really 'blurgh' in everything I tried on, and no clothes really interested me at all. I'm really not sure what on earth is wrong with me! Just feeling sort of down in the dumps :(

I would say this would be due to stress, as it's the last few weeks of uni, but I don't feel like i've been stressed at all...

sorry for all the miserable-ness, but I just wanted to get it all down!

I was going to suggest hay fever or some kind of pollen allergy, things are all out at the wrong time at the mo. You did mention moisturising ... but have you just been doing that since it began? Ask the pharmacist what he/she suggests. And you can develop an allergy to something you didn't have before iyswim, I can no longer use ANY Oil of Ulay products having used them for 40 years!

As far as I remember (screwing up my face in concentration) you can have the larger amount as an HEB but for faster weight loss have just the smaller amount as an (equal) HEB. Does that make sense? It's the same reasoning as some of the crispbreads where you can have different amounts as far as I remember. My book is three steps away and I'm too idle to get up and check ...
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

yup if you have the lower amount its speedy HEB, the higher is plain old HEB.

Its the same when you look at Ryvitas....there is a 2 or 4 choice ;)

Well I survived the Thai meal, it was a buffet, so I had cold beef salad and cold chicken salad for starter, then rice and steamed thai veg and odd bits of meat picked out the various dishes for my main and a big bowl fruit for dessert while the others had fried ice cream!! Killed me! Il not have any syns today now incase anything was cooked in oil etc, and that will counterbalance that.Drank diet coke, which I am getting a crush on, and ive never liked the stuff before.

    :eek::eek::eek:

So glad you survived with very few ( if any) syns, you'll soon get back on track.

Spot on :) If you choose to have the smaller portion you can be sure that it's going to help speed up weight loss whilst giving you the recommended fibre intake, whereas the larger portion is even better for fibre but not counted as SS.

There are a couple of other things listed like that but I can't bring them to mind at the mo.....just check out the symbol at the side for the information.

ETA: bummer, typing too slow again :rotfl:
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
