    Morning all,
I agree with the amount of food consumed when you first start this style of eating STRIKE]not a diet[/STRIKE I gained my 2nd week in because I HADN'T eaten as much as the week before when I had a big loss. Although saying that as you get nearer to target you may find your appetite reduces naturally as you stomach shrinks [well thats whats happened to me :D]. I can't eat huge portions any more as my stomach won't let me even when my mouth & head wants me to eat everything on my plate :rotfl:.
    .

Well hopefully my appetite will also reduce. I have been eating like a pig since morning and am since hungry

    BF: 250 SS milk(HEA) + 2 Wheetabix (HEB) + 5 almonds/ 1 prune/ 1 date/ 0.5 fig (6.25)
Mid morning snacks: half melon/ 1 frozen thawed strawberry
Lunch: Yesterday's dolmio sauce leftover pasta bake on a bed of grated carrots/ beetroot/ cucumber/ radish (3)
Late afternoon Snacks 1 : a glass of milk (HEA)
Late afternoon Snacks 2 : Omlette made with 1 egg, a bit of beetroot/ carrot/ onion/ a green chilli/ 1 tbsp sprouted lentil/ mild madras seasoning/ Tea made with a dash of semi skimmed milk (2)
    Dinner: Will update later
    Supper: Will update later

    2 HEA/ 1 HEB/ 11.25 syns till now

DH refused to eat the omlette as it was a strange colour because of the beetroot. He did finally give in but has "requested" me not to make it again :o

    Hello all .

Have read this thread on & off but never posted before. Hoping that if I do so it will remotivate me.

I've lost over 3 stone in a year 4 months and at target - but would like to lose another 9lbs which would make me a size 13ish :o. However, I've flagged a bit recently and struggling to stay in target zone let alone lose more :(. Still going to group & do find it very inspiring, but nothing new to keep me going.

Like shala moo I have a holiday to inspire me - just under 5 weeks, 4 more groups and would like to lose 6lbs. Here's hoping for a little drop tomorrow night.

Some fantastic tales here - well done everyone :T

    afternoon all!

have been sticking to plan since gaining .5lb last week and am hoping for a loss on Tuesday......

Last night one of my daughters caught me braless and was heard to exclaim 'Mum where have your boobs gone?' Well according to the lady in M&S I've gone from a 40G to a 40DD! Result! They do sag a bit though! (Sorry TMI!)

I have been into town today with DD2 - I was wearing a size 16 Per Una top (sale one) and DD2 kept losing me/not recognising me! I could get used to this!

Can I just ask, when M&S measure you do you have to take your bra off, or do they measure with it on?? I would love to know my proper size but am always put off with the thought of standing semi naked and being measured.

They don't use a tape measure any more, they go on your top size...so you can keep it on.

that doesnt sound very accurate, me and my sister wear the same size top but have different size boobs!
  • M&S don't use tape measure anymore, but they do look at the fit of the bra on you, so you need to take your top off (well, that's what they did with me anyway) but not your bra off! they can then see if it's too big/small etc and try you with different sizes.

Bravissimo is a shop that's been recommended to me by a few people, they do proper measuring and are geared toward generously chested women. Mine have definitely deflated with weight loss, shame really as they were my best asset. And I CANNOT sort out what bra size to buy. According to online things I should now be a 36 B but honestly, no way! I ambled into La Senza the other week and a young girl asked if she could help, when I told her about the 36B tale she glanced at my knockers and her eyes widened in disbelief. She packed me off into the dressing room with a handful (handful!) of bras and said she'd be surprised if any of them fit. She wasn't surprised. Everything is either gaping or gives me a double boob, horrible. So any advice welcome. (there's not a Bravissimo near here)
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
