WI this morning and gained 0.5lbs:(

There was uproar in my group. Last week we had amazing collective weightloss and people were questioning the scales. Today our consultant was away and on stand-in's scales EVERYONE had put on with exception of just 2 who weren't there last week. Obviously something very wrong. Some people just weighed and left as they were really upset. Hopefully those who stayed have come away convinced it's the scales and sufficiently motivated for the coming week but while I'm feeling fairly philosophical, some who'd apparently gained 4.5lbs:eek: were shattered.

Would SW expect us to pay for such a mix-up? Anyone had a similar experience?
Our group definitely had one week (or two) when, it seems to be because we use a different venue once a month, the scales were waaaaaay out. The helpers get weighed first and they were whooping the one time as they had lost STONES! But I can't remember what happened about it apart from us all laughing.

Well Done Dizzy on your 3.5 loss! And welcome back MrsM - you have every right to be proud of yourself! Now someone please tell me what NSVs are.

Welcome - Well done on your first week's loss! On red and green days you should have two B options (fibre) and 1 or 2 A. Not the greatest authority on extra easy days (orange as you say) but I do know that you are only allowed 1 A and 1 B. As you are not having many synns you could always synn more A or B choices if you want to.

Good luck, there is some great advice to be had on here and also loads of encouragement. xx

    Thanks for thr welcome :)
I think I might just double up on my cereal for the 2 Bs. 28g's isn't much!

Porridge is a good filling breakfast - I use Oat so Simple. I have half water and half milk but that's just my choice. I have Splenda on it and a banana with it. I know the plain one is one B option but not 100% sure about the flavoured ones. x

    Thanks Dizzy for confirming :T

I have had the following today. Does anyone else feel that you are eating more than usual on this diet?

BF: yellow tomato and some cucumber sandwiched between 4 yevita (HEB) with quark filling, a glass of juice (will check the syns for juice), a banana

Lunch: wholewheat pasta bake with quorn mince, grated carrot, swede, a green pepper, onions and dolmio lasagne sauce. I have got 6 portions out of this so 3 syns for the sauce for each portion. Topped with parmesan (hea). With SW chips and lettuce and beetroot salad

dinner: half corn on the cob and veg salad

    Snacks: 1 plum, 10 almonds(HEB)

While this is my first ever 'diet' so I've nothing to compare, I think you're right that the amount you can eat is amazing!!!

I've also heard NSVs described as non-scales victories so I guess it's about all the lovely side issues that come with losing weight: compliments, slimmer clothes, feel-good factor etc etc.

I've tried lots of diets over the years......:o and ALL of them have failed early on because they have been soooo focussed on 'you can ONLY have X amount of' blah blah blah - so I was fixated on food all the time AND HUNGRY :( the difference with SW is nothing is restricted so you're free to make choices & not feel deprived at all :T

Well today Its lovely & sunny here, so I'm making the most of it & we're going to get the BBQ out (plus no cooking duties for me muhahaha.....BBQing is mens work :p;))

So its a Red day on the cards, got some nice steak somewhere in the freezer, Asda spicy chicken breasts, morrisions eat smart sausage & nice bit of salady stuff - job done :j:beer: oooooh!! and Ive got some MrS 1syn low Alch Lagers left in the fridge too :T

The rest of the day will be fruit & Im just going to make a cheese & ham omlette with tomatoes & mushrooms to keep me going until then.

Righteo - have a good day ladies, Be good & Stay on the Tank! :A
