I have had the following today. Does anyone else feel that you are eating more than usual on this diet?
I definately felt I was eating more when starting SW than I was before itBut funnily enough, you hear it time & time again at class that when people aren't losing much.....consultant will often look at their food diaries and comment that they aren't eating enough - the more you eat 'especially the superfree foods' the more you lose

Good morning all
Sorry for talking in code ladies- yep its a Non Scale Victory -so all those lovely little "woohoo" moments that make you feel better even when the scales might not have moved
... so anything from resisting the choccy box as its passed around to moving the ole belt in another notch. I love em and can make the tiniest thing make me feel all :j :rotfl:
I hope we are all well, we have manky ole weather here and hubby has gone to play in a golf comp dressed as a cow  -well they will tell him that its a "black n white theme" .... they really should be a bit more specific where my hubby is concerned
well can I have a "whoop whoop" please? 6lbs off for me this week :j .. now THAT makes up for my 2 weeks away and a STS
I guess this week must have been a shock to the ole systemThe odd thing is that I haven't had my carb curfew this week -so Im going to do another week like this one and see how we go, I may well just throw in an occasional carb curfew week every now and then to shake things up
I have been pretty much exercise free too because of my achillies  -apart from 1 walk around the golf course.
Hubby has now broken up for 2 weeks so my plan will be all over the place -but I will just have to make sure Im organised
So then Im on another red day today -that should look like this:-
- 250ml semi (A)
- 2 apples -didn't fancy brekkie
- hm smoked mackerel pate (4)
- carrot sticks
- celery
- pepper sticks
- 4 ryvita (B)
- sf jelly (1)
- strawberry quark
- 227g jacket (B)
- cottage cheese
- lettuce
- cucumber
- tomatoes
- peppers
- celery
- radish
- tickled cabbage
- tickled onions
- tickled beetroot
- 250ml semi (A)
- 1tsp camp (1)
I have been busy this morning -I have made up 2pt sf orange jelly and 2pt sf lime jelly (and I have another 50 sachets in the cupboard), I have made my smoked mackerel pate -using cottage cheese and some horseraddish , I have the chicken carcass on making stock and the veggies chopped to make some butternut squash soup once the stock has done . Im planning on the soup and jelly being useful as "quick eats" whilst we are bobbing in and out this week
-hubby has 2 big pots of home made chicken n sweetcorn soup in the freezer so I will get one of those out tomorrow (he doesn't like butternut squash )
We plan on getting plenty of sorting out done whilst he is off -we really need to declutter ready for moving home *gulp*....hopefully all the humpin n dumpin will burn some fat too
I have nothing much else planned for today so Im going to sit and plan some quick n easy meals I can throw together whilst we are busy bobbing in and out..
Hope everyone has a lovely day.. keep at it folks -we are getting there :T-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 - 250ml semi (A)

Morning all,
I agree with the amount of food consumed when you first start this style of eating STRIKE]not a diet[/STRIKE I gained my 2nd week in because I HADN'T eaten as much as the week before when I had a big loss. Although saying that as you get nearer to target you may find your appetite reduces naturally as you stomach shrinks [well thats whats happened to me]. I can't eat huge portions any more as my stomach won't let me even when my mouth & head wants me to eat everything on my plate :rotfl:.
Anyway WI for me and as expected a 2lb gain, was imagining a bigger gain so am happy with that. Can't believe I have been at target [sorry BELOW target] for over 8 months now and still avoiding the mindset of 'am at target so can eat what I like' call me obsessed if you like but I so do not want to end up back where I was.
Today we are having a roast [yay] as weather has been pants BUT would you believe it, the sun is shining and its probably too warm for a roast but I'm still gonna insist on it. Lots of superfree veg and also more fruit as didn't have any yesterday although had a visit from 'that' fairy this morning before WI so unusual. Oh and my jeans are very loose today so did belt on next hole :T.
Have a very good Sunday all x x x
Had to pop back and say a MASSIVE well done MrsM am so impressed as never lost that amount in my life [oh except when I was REALLY poorly and lost a stone in a week but that don't count cos it went straight back on when I was better :rotfl:].Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Roast here as well TiE. I've been looking forward to it all week since I had a rather mediocre (and synful one) in a restaurant last Sunday!
It's strange you should mention a reduced appetite. I've been struggling to eat my usual portions all week, forcing myself because of concern aboout not eating enough, then feeling a bit queasy into the bargain. I'm about 3lbs off target so a shrinking stomach might be the reason.;) I am planning to reset my target eventually by 7lbs as I'm hardly waif-like and I want a buffer for when I eat out/holidays etc.
I'm hoping that when I'm at target I can carry on eating SW way but not get angry and disappointed with myself when I go over syns a bit in restaurants, friends' homes etc.
:TMrsM, it must be a huge relief to get back on track.0 -
Must post my (EE) menu as it keeps me on track:
B: NAS squash, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried egg, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: Marmite & cucumber sandwich, pearroast pork, parsnips, potatoes, runner beans, cauliflower and carrots, gravy
Syns: wine and gravy0 -
Anyone know if celery & cucumber make a good soup mix? Mr T had 2 for £2 and I still have 2 cucumbers left from last week so they need using up. If the soup doest work will stir fry cue strips as know that works. Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hello everyone...:j
Had a really rubbish month or so where i've just been so stressed and having to deal with 101 things that i've not really paid much time or attention to what i've been shoving in my mouthand haven't been able to pop on here and check how everyone is doing..
However, things are finally calming down so i'm going to try and get back to it. Luckily i've only gained 3lbs since i last weighed (i think) so i'm hoping that will come back off in a matter of weeks!
I've had a quick catch up - well done to the losers(there are some fab weight loses), Dizzy glad ur op went ok, MrsM sorry to hear about ur MIL but glad you've got straight back on track and Lynz hope you enjoyed your holiday (don't think i've been on here since before you went - did you enjoy Nashville?? yee haaaa)
Goals - i'm off to Brighton 3rd week in August so i've set myself a mini challenge to get under 13 stone by then - i'm currently 13.7.5 so i need to lose 8lbs in 4 weeks:eek:... doable when i'm in the right frame of mind, but as long as I get part way there then that would be great!
Red day today..
Brunch - Sausage sandwich with ketchup (3 syns & HEb)
Snack - alpen (3) boiled eggs, chunk of choc (2)
Dinner - chicken, salad, HM coleslaw, 198g new potatoes (Heb)
Hea - milk in teas
I accidently ordered 27 eggs in the shopping last nighti feel my food will be eggy based for a few days... luckily (?!) i've got some cakes to bake for work so they'll get used, but what a nana! :rotfl:
Sorry, didn't mean to ramble so much...
Glad to be back xMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
afternoon all!
have been sticking to plan since gaining .5lb last week and am hoping for a loss on Tuesday......
Last night one of my daughters caught me braless and was heard to exclaim 'Mum where have your boobs gone?' Well according to the lady in M&S I've gone from a 40G to a 40DD! Result! They do sag a bit though! (Sorry TMI!)
I have been into town today with DD2 - I was wearing a size 16 Per Una top (sale one) and DD2 kept losing me/not recognising me! I could get used to this!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
