I have been naughty the last couple of days and had a visit to Nandos and to the pub. But I am back now on track. Went to watch Harry potter movie and guess what - We didn't buy any crap there and actually had some cherries and grapes during the movie!!
Today's meals
BF: 2 Wheatabix(HEB) + Semi skimmed Milk (HEA) + 1 Banana
Lunch:Leak and Potato Soup (0.5) and leftover stir fried veg noodles with quorn fillets(0.5)
Dinner: Omlette
Snacks: 2 plums/ grapes/ cherries/ 1 banana
1 HEA, 1 HEB and 1 syn
I have had one portion of HEA and HEB. Is it compulsary to have two and can I have 2 portions of the same HEA and HEB?
I am really struggling with having cheese for HEA so can I have 500 ml of semi skimmed milk instead?0 -

Good Morning All
Good to see you back MrsM - pleased you arrived in the UK in time to see you MIL.
Not having a good week again - it's my * week and that's making it difficult to get back on track. It's also now the 6 weeks hols which I know will be a danger time for me as there are more biscuits and crisps, etc in as the kids are at home all day and I'm at home too. Any ideas ?
Have a good day all

yes its fine to have 2 lots of milk as your HEA choices, I often do this with 1/2 a HEA as I like milky tea0 -

welcome back lynz, hope you enjoyed your holiday?
I ended up a bit off-plan yesterday. Went out to tea, was very good and refused coffee & walnut cake, scones, jam and cream but then got asked out for supper too. I had non-SW bolognese which probably wasn't too bad (sauce from a jar I think) but then I tasted the rosemary focaccia:drool: I've decided just to stop worrying about it and plough on having good days whenever I can. I think I'm still feeling a bit deflated after the scales debacle at my group and I also think that if I start refusing invitations to avoid non-SW food (that's the way I'm starting to think) then that's not a healthy way to behave.
EE today:
B: NAS squash, HEB toast, 2 boiled eggs, HEA teas
L: JP and baked beansgammon, green beans, new pots, tomatoes and mushrooms
Snacks: wine and loads of fruit!0 -
Good afternoon all
I hope everyone is away doing something nice.... it seems really quiet on here ,,,
Well folks we went for a ride out today -just to the naffi and Lidl..hubby won some more money on the machines -so deposited €130 into my sticky little paw with instruction that "Its for perfume, creams or clothes"-well Im not one to argue so I just have to settle on what I want...Im thinking it may end up being 3 or 4 more bottles of perfume to add to my collection ready for moving home
ooh and today I went out in a top from my wardrobe (1 of my last lot of sale bargains) -its a lovely peacock kind of blue and its a 14
-although its got to be a generous 14 ..but it still says 14 on the lable ..so thats another one to add to my collection
ooh oooh and after ages of wanting smoked mackrel and not being able to get any out here -today in the naffi they had some right fancy pants stuff -so I got 2 packs -each one has 2 small fillets @ 75g each -which is great as I will only have to pay 3 syns per piece
So then my red meal plan for today looks like this :-
- 2 weetabix (B)
- 250ml semi (A)
- 1tsp sugar (1)
- roasted chicken
- 1/4tsp olive oil (0.5) - to roast
- butternut squash
- 4 clementines
- roast chicken
- lettuce
- cucumber
- tomatoes
- pepper
- celery
- radish
- tickled beetroot
- tickled cabbage
- tickled onions
- sf jelly and raspberries (1)
- 250ml semi (A)
Well its weigh in for us in the morning and Im hoping the scales will have started moving again -the last 2 weeks I accepted were going to be difficult but I have no excuse for not losing this week :nono: -keep your pinkies crossed for me as I have a dead line to meet  -I have about 16 weeks until I move home and I want to get as close to target as I can :cross:
Right Im off to catch up -have a lovely afternoon all and keep up the great work!!-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 - 2 weetabix (B)

Hello!
After a rubbish couple of days I'm back. I was complaining the other day about not losing any weight, and did some research on the web into my medcation and it seems that a lot of people find it very difficult to lose weight when taking it, which sort of made mefeel a bit better as I've been trying really hard. Anyway, I'd decided that even if the lbs aren't going to fall off I'd carry on eating well and healthily cos it makes me feel better (and as the meds are for depression this can only be a good thing) and exercising (ditto) and what will be will be.
Anyway, I got up this morning and had my WI, which I do at home. It said I'd put on 3lbs. Hurumph. So, I came downstairs, made a coffee and pottered for a while, went back upstairs and thought I'd ask the scales for a 2nd opinion. This time they registered 4lbs lower than last time, makinga one lb loss this week. Well you can guess wich one I believed!! However, I think it's time for a different set of scales. I'm quite cross as I haven't had these long, only about 6 months, but they are totally unreliable.
Anyway, green day here:
porridge with a sprinkling of cinnamon (a and b)
couscous with tomatoes, cucumber, mango, coriander and 2oz reduced fat mozarella (b)
dinner will be spinach and potato curry with tamarind quinoa (about 5 for the quinoa)
and fruit to munch on in between.
I also went for a 45 minute powerwalk earlier and *may* attempt level 2 of the 30 day shred later on. May. (probably won't but we'll see!!)
Hope you're all having a good weekend!Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -
Hello. Newbie here, hope you don't mind me joining. Did SW a few years ago and got to my target weight, but then put it all back on again. Have bought the books but not joined a class, so wanted somewhere to record my progress (and have that weigh in pressure!). Started 2 weeks ago on Monday, lost 3.5lbs in the first week.
I've no idea how this new orange day works. Have stuck with red/green days so far. I always take milk from my A options (drink far too much coffee during the day) and cereal for my B choice - although I only pick one from B - should I always have 2?
Syns tend to be coleslaw (salads are my regular lunch) and I guess a bit more milk. I think I probably have about 5 sys per day.
Any tips?[STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000 -

Welcome - Well done on your first week's loss! On red and green days you should have two B options (fibre) and 1 or 2 A. Not the greatest authority on extra easy days (orange as you say) but I do know that you are only allowed 1 A and 1 B. As you are not having many synns you could always synn more A or B choices if you want to.
Good luck, there is some great advice to be had on here and also loads of encouragement. xx0
