A Slimmer Summer with Slimming World

Green day for me, prefer them for some reason. Not a massive meat eater generally - did eat a lot of fabulous fillet steak while on holiday though:D
Had a really late breakfast! Like lunchtime late, so no actual lunch for me.
Looking like
Breakfast coffee(part A)
Brunch Weetabix(1/2B), milk(part A, enough left for a cup of tea), banana
Snack Melon( it was MASSIVE!! and scrummy, me and DD made a good effort through it)
Will have a tea in a minute with alpen light(maybe 2 for my B choice) with a yoghurt(0.5) and maybe an apple
Dinner is Quorn chilli, wholegrain rice, cheese(A) and salad
With my nightly kitkat(5.5), tea to go with aforementioned kitkat(1), that brings me to 2 A, 1.5 B(may need another alpen!), and 7 syns for the day.
Decided to do my syns on a weekly basis, still sticking roughly to my 15 a day but saving any 'leftover' ones for a friday/saturday night at work when i'm stressed and hungry.
Wore a pedometer to work on saturday, it wasnt even a massively busy shift ...... i walked 11km!!!!!!!!!! Bit of body magic there, and i wondered why i was always knackered come sunday. I must walk nearly 20km between my 2 shifts:rotfl:The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

I have not experienced this in our group on a big scale (not a pun!) but my friend had a great loss last week of 4.1/2lb and was really motivated by it (she thought she had gained!!!) now this week she put 1/2 on - she was mortified cos she had stuck to it 100% all week (I know this is true cos we are very honest with each other and if she had drifted off plan in the week she would have said). Don't know if this is to do with the scales or not.
I am interested in any other experiences.

A couple of weeks ago everyone in our group seemed to have good losses - then last week we all seemed to put on - we joked that the consultants have different scales depending on whether they want to inspire us......:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Sincerely hope this is not true but it makes you wonder !0 -
The scales can deviate occasionally and then if the consultant replaces the scales or has them updated they can weigh differently. If this is the case it generally means the previous rate was slightly wrong as in the scales developed some sort of fault. This happens very rarely.0

I don't know about the pasta pot, I know packs of Pasta & Sauce can be free but I'm not sure about pots.
HTH
When I signed up the consultant had these on her table. I cant remember if they were one syn or no syns but they weren't much. I'll text her and ask her later tonight.
Well..... today has been a good day I think. Struggling to cut out the extra carbs that I'm having but I'm hoping that my syns will cover them.
B - bran flakes and milk
S - banana, satsuma x 3, apple, peach
L - pasta pot
D - scrambled eggs and 2 x slices of WW bread (no butter)
I may have a muller light later tonight and some more fruit.
I have been farting really bad (and no, not had any dynamo soup either) is this common? Its really quite whiffy and I'm 'going' every day which is also quite unusual. I'm assuming its all the yummy satsuma and fruit having this effect.
I bought a HUGE and I mean HUGE watermelon from Lidl today for £2. It looks like its been on steriods. I put it in my front seat and wanted to put a seatbelt on it! Will be munching that for the next couple of days
Any useful hints?

Your body is a complicated piece of 'machinery' and your weight can deviate hour by hour so it's no surprise when you appear not to lose one week when you've been good, or lose weight when you've been naughty.
If you carry on sticking to plan, your overall losses will be good. It's always a good idea to keep an eye on your measurements as well so that if the scales disappoint you the tape measure may give you a lovely surpriseI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

The scales are supposed to be self-calibrating. They are insured for over £400 so they should be good but I guess there can always be problems with anything that's electronic.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

I dont think you have nearly enough fruit/veg in your plan. You only have carrots, a banana and an apple. One third of your daily intake should be fruit/veg on the extra easy plan.
You should have a B choice as slimming world is a complete diet and if you miss out some of it you wont be getting all the nutrients you need.
You also arent eating breakfast? The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
