Wow Zippy, what a result! Well Done.
I only managed a 1lb loss at wi today, would love to lose 2lb by next week to get me my 3st award, but as I'm meeting up with a friend from NZ on Sat, I don't hold out much hope. It won't be the food, but the fact that we both get awfully 'thirsty' when we get together!
Yesterdays food was:-
2 x weetabix
Plums, Cherries.
cous cous mixed with toms, cuc, celery, onion & chicken.
Plums.
When I got home from work I gave in & had 2 vodkas, which then made me hungry, so I was lucky that I couldn't be bothered to cook and only found a sausage in the fridge. So really, the damage could have been worse.0 -

Great loss Zippy. Are you doing green days? Wondered why you only have 1 A and B choice? The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

my consultant had told me to do extra easy - i don't eat meat often. I was thinking of making today a green day as there will be no meat involved. I'm scared of changing things though now the plan has showed it's working on me!
Although I think i might go buy some chicken today because I'm craving it.A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Can anyone tell me ?Ok,I know (I think) the low fat ones are all free on extra easy, but what recipes would you use each one for.
Tonight I am making chicken fahitas with wholemeal weightwatchers wraps, mushy pea guacamole and salsa made with tomatoes and a supermarket salsa spice mix,but which product could I use to mimic sour cream?0 -

You can have chicken as a B choice on green if you want. Means you still get your 2 A choices. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Hello
Tiny slip up in the chocolate department today, but apart from that it's been good. I'm still not losing any weight tho, I've lost 10lbs in total and it's taken absolutely months and months.
Green here as ever:
oats, berries and yog (b)
pasta and mixed bean salad
tons of fruit and gallons of water
toast with cow cheese (a and b)
ahem, a Terry's choc orange bar (10.5) and a curly whirly (6?) = 16.5 syns
not sure about dinner, might not fancy anything later, will see how I feel.
Out for lunch tomorrow but I know they do a nice range of salads.
Am seriously considering giving this up as I'm not getting anywhere and it's depressing.
Going to think about doing 30 day shred dvd, might put me in a better mood.
Eta: I haven't eaten chocoalte for weeks, I don't normally scoff like that and then complain that I'm not losing weight. It's * week and the choc monster was calling.Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -

Well, Greek yog has a lovely, creamy texture and can be eaten all by itself. Fromage Frais is nice too and I eat that in a slice of ham (rolled rather like a sausage roll with FF in place of the sausage) with salad, yum.
Quark is very bland and takes on the flavour of whatever you eat it with. There's a list of how to use it somewhere - will see if I can find it for you.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Annie do NOT give up!!!
I only do green days as I'm veggie and I wonder if you're eating enough?
I lose weight really slowly, it took me exactly a year to lose a stone (I did take the scenic route;)) and I'm now embarking on losing another oneI know a lot of my problems last year were
because of medication, I'm off that now but still the weight is very slow to shift..........it ain;t going back on this time though
Stick at it for a while longer!!!!0
