    Hi All,

Menu for yesterday and today are below, could some kind soul look over them and tell me where I'm going wrong (as I'm sure I am!)

    Yesterday:

    Breakfast: Bran Flakes and milk
    Snack: 3 x satsumas
Lunch: Turkey wrap with cucumber, lettuce, Muller Light
Snack: 3 x satsumas and a Latte (syn this?)
Dinner: Turkey Fajitas and lots of veg

    Today
    Breakfast: Bran flakes and milk
Snack: Latte x 2 (syn these?)
    Lunch: Batchelor Pasta pot
Snack: 6 x satsumas (hope these don't have an adverse effect on me. LOL)
Dinner: remaining turkey fajita from yesterday and Muller light. oh and another 2 x satsumas.

    Would appreciate all feedback.

    Sugar xxx

I'm assuming you're doing Extra Easy Sugar. Basically you are on the right lines but these would be my comments:

EE allows you just 1 HEB (Bread type things) so you shouldn't have Bran Flakes, fajita and wrap all in one day without synning 2 of them. Yes to synning the lattes unless you've made them at home from your HEA milk allowance. 6/8 satsumas a day might just be enough Superfrees to be a third of your food:Dbut I doubt it and you do need variety. I don't know about the pasta pot, I know packs of Pasta & Sauce can be free but I'm not sure about pots.

    HTH

Quick question, 'grab on the go' food in the book says 6 x Laughing cow extra light triangles is a HEA. does that mean i can or would have to have all six for it to be a HEA otherwise its a syn???????????

i had two today with two ryvita dark as my HEA and HEB...is that ok?

You are right about having all the HEA otherwise you should syn it. What you can do is split the HE so you could have 2 Laughing Cows and 2/3 of your milk allowance.

HI FOLKS! Well here I am at silly o'clock again. I have had a few nights when I've slept o.k. but not tonight. I have had a lot on my mind as I had a very stressful day at work on Tuesday (I work in mental health and things got a bit heavy).

That aside I lost 1lb at group last night and was well pleased cos I've not been sticking to it totally for the whole week. I feel a bit more positive now and as long as my seat is still vacant will sit quietly on the tank.

A big welcome to all our newbies. Congratulations to all the great losers and big hugs for the strugglers (we've all been there but we can all do it cos we know it works) xx

WI this morning and gained 0.5lbs:(

There was uproar in my group. Last week we had amazing collective weightloss and people were questioning the scales. Today our consultant was away and on stand-in's scales EVERYONE had put on with exception of just 2 who weren't there last week. Obviously something very wrong. Some people just weighed and left as they were really upset. Hopefully those who stayed have come away convinced it's the scales and sufficiently motivated for the coming week but while I'm feeling fairly philosophical, some who'd apparently gained 4.5lbs:eek: were shattered.

Would SW expect us to pay for such a mix-up? Anyone had a similar experience?

    EE menu for today:
B: NAS squash, HEB Weetabix, banana, HEA milk for teas
L: asparagus and bacon (I'm thinking?), pear
    D: chicken stir-fry with rice

I'm going out to an tea party at a friend's this afternoon. IMO she's being a bit pretentious but I'll be circulating madly with my tea cup trying to avoid cupcakes, sandwiches, Victoria sponge etc. I doubt there'll be a single thing available that's SW friendly.

    Hey Maman
That class sounded like it would have been awful!! Arent the scales supposed to be calibrated by an independent company or something?? I seem to remember years ago there was a slimming club leader that got took to court for falsifying losses.. Not a nice thought that!!
Still on the positive 0.5 is loads better than 4.5 xxxxxxx

That's very worrying, what a shame for those who left feeling rotten. I have not experienced this in our group on a big scale (not a pun!) but my friend had a great loss last week of 4.1/2lb and was really motivated by it (she thought she had gained!!!) now this week she put 1/2 on - she was mortified cos she had stuck to it 100% all week (I know this is true cos we are very honest with each other and if she had drifted off plan in the week she would have said). Don't know if this is to do with the scales or not.

I am interested in any other experiences.

    xx
