Hi please can you have a look at my menu today and see if im on the right track.

Im doing the Extra Easy Plan

Breakfast: Coffee using milk from healthy extra a and two sugars (2 syns)

Lunch: Scrambled Eggs, Baked Beans, 1 slice white bread from medium loaf (4 syns)

Dinner: New Potatoes, Carrots, Salmon Fillets

    Snacks: Banana, Apple

Do i have to choose something from the healthy extra b choice, cant stand any of the cereals without sugar!:p

Completely agree about the need for more fruit and veg. As you have spare syns you could have sugar on cereal or why not get wholemeal bread then you can have that with your lunch and save yourself 4 syns?

    Good Luck.

Well done Dizzy thats a fantastic loss :T:T
I'm on course for a gain this week just hope its not too big :o. The buffet food last night was lovely but synful especially the desserts, I had 2 small slices [about the size of a normal slice] of a black forest type dessert which had fresh cream in it  also pigged out on hummous and celery/carrot. The rest of food is too much to mention and I just want to forget it now :silenced:.
Last day today, will be very emotional as everyone will be very tired and some will be hungover :rotfl:am dreading it really.
Will try to have a good day although the amount of food left over will probably find its way into the staff room today .
    Have a good day all

P.S. MrsM is alive and kicking over on Minimins, will send out a call for her to come visit us.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    woohoo everyone... Im baaaaaaack

Sorry to have been MIA for so long...As some of you know MIL was in hospital so we were due to fly home on the Monday - a brief explanation is that we ended up getting a call about 5:15pm on the Friday from the welfare to say that a car was picking us up at 5:30pm (good thing we were packed) -anyhoo -we were driven to Hanover airport, straight through customes and onto the plane, landed in Luton -straight through customes etc into a car and were dropped off at the hospital before 11pm :T -hubby went in to see his mum but she was asleep so we left. We nipped in on the Saturday morning and popped out after 3hrs to give her some rest, and before we had got back to BIL's house where we were staying there was a call to say that MIL had passed away. We reckon she was holding on to see all the boys as 1 was riding his motorbike in France and rode back and arrived about the same time as us. So at least she got to see everyone :T.
So we have been away 2 weeks awaiting arrangements to be made etc -and boy has it been hard going - 12 days sleeping on someones floor and we wont go into the hoohaa we had -just to say that we didin't even have use of an oven  -anyohoo we did the best we could and the end result was that after 2 weeks with no jug, measuring spoons, scales, oven -or many other things AND us seeming to end up buying, cooking and washing up after the food for us and 5 others  we both somehow showed a STS at weigh in on Sunday :j -which, believe me felt as good as if I had lost 1st :rotfl: -I have been dodging cornettos, sweets, chocs, cakes, biscuits, crisps and other c*ap on a daily basis :A:rotfl:
Right, just thought I would pop in to let you know Im still about-I will be back later with the normal blahblahblah -and to share my NSVs :D (I have some belters :p).... and I will try and catch up on a bit of what I have missed....
Hope you are all well, it is sooooooooooo good to be back...
    Have a lovely morning all..

  • Hi all, I have STS this week. Was thinking I probably would. Lost four pounds over the last couple of weeks, and also was off-plan again at weekend. Weekends are definitely my downfall! We're going away for a night tomorrow which will involve lots of food and wine so this weekend will be another right-off. Although probably not as bad as it would have been before as I seem to have some self-control now! I hope that if I'm good next week and keep syns down, it will be ok.

I really want to lose at least another 4lb (to take me into healthy BMI) and preferably half a stone in total (I'm being realistic and I'll never be a skinny-mini and don't really want to be. A size 12 will suit me fine!). I think it will take a wee while though, given my syn-ly weekends. I'm going on holiday for a fortnight in three weeks, so hoping to have lost another couple of pounds by then. And then I expect I shall put a few pounds back on! Anyway, I hear the scenic route is very pretty so that's what I'm doing I think!

Anyways, well done to everyone who have had good losses this week, and hugs to those who have STS or gained, we will get there - the scenic way! xxx
    STS, STS, -1:), STS, -3 :T, -1:), STS, STS, -1:T, -1:j, STS :j (post-holiday!), +1:(, -1:), -1

L: HM veg soup & 1 small WM bread

Later on will have alpen light, cadbury highlights and my usual punnet of strawbs with muller lights and half sachet of highlights sprinkled on
    Milk in teas for HEA
So thats 1 HEA, 1 HEB, 13 syns
