Will let you know how i (and my mum!) get on tomorrow x0 -
Just back from WI and 4lb on!
I can't blame anything or anyone but myself - I just seem to have lost all motivation and have gone back to old ways of stuffing my face even when I'm not hungry.
My consultant asked me was I willing to try Success Express for a week so I'm going to give it a go
I've never tried this before though I know that it's 2 thirds superfree and 1 third free per meal. Any suggestions for meal plans and snacks would be very welcome - PLEASE!:)A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit!:rotfl:
Joined SW 13/9/10 - wanted to lose 56lb and lost 26lb! Rejoined on 9/1/12 having gained 17lb of my loss!!!
Want to lose 50lb. 50 - 8.5 = 41.5 to go!0 -
Afternoon all
Today the local youth health service came to chat to my work kids (16-21 year olds) about healthy eating. They have been eating carp all day every day so I felt they needed some official pointers. They eat pasties/crisps/sweets/donuts etc for breakfast . And drink full fat coke/energy drinks all day long too. The nurse got them to write down everything they ate yesterday, and bar 3 who had sunday dinners, no-one else (9 of them) had any fruit or veg! Awful. I must admit I showed off with my super healthy day yday :rotfl:. The nurse also had the blocks of fake pounds of fat, so it was great to have a visual aid to help my weight loss.
Green day for me, but barely had time to eat much today cos I was so busy!
B - oats (HEB), FF yog
L - pasta, HM SF tomato sauce, cheese (HEA)
D - HM SF celery soup, WM bread (HEB), LF marg (1syn)
Snacks - HB egg, crisps (5syns), kitkat (5.5syns)
Drinks - fruit tea, coffee, squash, water
Total syns = 11
TBH I don't want the crisps or kitkat but need some syns and need to eat stuff up from my cupboard before I move in a few weeks.

Shopping alert, not sure if this has been posted already but Asda have the fridge packs of Heinz beans for £1 and the cathedral city lighter for £2 a pack. Stocked up yesterday:D
Welcome back Guns! To add to your shopping alert, when I buy a big pack of cheese I cut it into smaller chunks, keep one chunk out and put the rest back into the freezer (the Cathedral City have a resealable pack which is handy). That takes the temptation away - the temptation to just nibble and nibble. It also means it doesn't go off cos you are using it so slowly! If you were really really organised I guess you could weigh out 42g chunks in advance.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Hi all. I have followed this thread for a very long time and am inspired by you all. I did SW a few years ago and lost 3 stone. But over time this, plus more has crept back on. Now feeling bad about myself and my health. My downfall -- wine, cheese, large portions and lack of movement!!. I hope you dont mind me joining you. I would love to lose at least 2 stone before september if that is possible. I am retired a year now and i think this has not helped with weight loss. I have become very lazy! Maybe if I join with you all instead of lurking it will help - especially with a boot to the rear. Annie60
