    Evening
I feel all bleugh. Have been out for DS's bithday, and the dinnewas sadly revolting. we shared nachos to start, couln't finish them as too much jalepeno.
I chose a veggie burrito for my main course, which was gross, and came with lukewarm rice which worried me because of food poisoning, and tortilla chips that I didn't touch. I had a few of DS's chips, but left the rest. I can feel it sitting in my belly, and came home and cooked some wholemeal pasta for my lunch tomorrow so i know I've got something good to eat tomorrrow. Health food is definitely the way to go for me, I can't believe how sick I feel after eating rubbish.
Can't wait for tomorrow now to OD on fruit and veg and then get some exercise in when I get home from work.

can the person who's abducted the former Annie please step forward???

The rest of the day was great btw, scrambled egg on wm toast, carrot and lentil soup with a wm roll for lunch (too much bread I know) and loads of fruit.

    Excuse the ramble!!!

Today was the first day of SW but now sure how I have done as still don't have the reference material yet.

Started my day with my usual alkaline breakfast which I am sure is full of syns. I will post the ingredients to check if anyone knows how bad it is. But it does give me lots of energy in the morning.

Lunch was a small portion of stir fry with quorn fillets/ egg noodles and lots of veg with a little bit of oil

Dinner: A small portion of rice with chick peas curry that DH made (It had chickpeas + onion + tomatoes + lots of indian spices + 3 tbsp EV olive oil for 3 small and 3 large portions). Rice was white. Is white rice free on Green day?

Snacks: 1 apple/ water melon/ roasted soya beans/ one-fourth of a Morrisons danish pastry with raisins, 2 tbsp of organic homemade yogurt with semi skimmed milk

Exercise: An extra 30 minutes walk in the lunchtime with a friend and I took the stairs today instead of the lift at work

Drinks: 1.25 l water, 1 cuppa with a splash of milk

I am a vegetarian so will only do green days. I have weighed myself today and it's 130 lbs. I need to reduce to 110 lbs to return to my usual weight which I was 3 years ago. I am quite short so this weight is ideal for me based on the BMI calculator.

Can anyone check if the following is too bad on syns please? I haven't got my reading material yet so can't check myself

    Ingredients

    1 prune
    half apricot
    half Fig
    1 Date
    half Banana
    A pinch of cinammon powder
    10 gram Sunflower seeds
    10
    gram Pumpkin Seeds
    6 Almonds
150 ml semi - skimmed Milk.
    3 tablespoons Ready Brek oats
    1 tablespoon raisins

Almonds and seeds are soaked overnight and then everything except the last 2 are blended in the morning. Then I add oats ands raisins to the mixture and eat as a cereal. This gives me lots of energy in the morning.

    Thanks

Hello, do you mind if I join you? I've started SW again today. I lost 3 1/2 stone 4 years ago doing SW but I've just had a baby (11 weeks ago) so I plan to shift the weight for good.
I'm doing it at home along with my OH and my best friend. I might join a class soon but the nearest class is 15 miles away and is at the babies feeding and bath time and my OH will still be at work. So I need loads of support and several boots in the right direction.
I've read a lot of the thread and recognise several names from before.
I did well on Green days with the odd red day. I always struggled with EE for some reason. I'm trying EE again so I hope I get it right. Hope you don't mind me posting my food diary and if I'm doing it wrong feel free to shout at me.

Brekkie- 1 slice of toast from 800g loaf, tin of beans. Heb

Lunch- pasta with HM tomato sauce (free) with ham.

Dinner- pasta with HM tomato sauce, tuna in brine, prawns, mushrooms and broccoli.

    Syns- blue ribband
My hea was milk through the day.

I struggled today as I'm waiting for a Tesco delivery tomorrow. I've sat and planned meals for the rest of the week, and have loads of fruit and veg coming .

God, sorry for the very long first post.

Just quickly I'd say make sure one-third of each meal is superfree food. Superfree is fresh/frozen fruit and most (but not all) vegetables, for instance there's no superfree in your breakfast, baked beans are not. I don't think Extra Easy was around 4 years ago so it might be worth one of you going to class to get an up to date book and talk! All the best.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

I rejoined about a year ago and got all the bumf about EE. I tried it when it first came out too. It does work for me, I just lost at a steadier pace with green.

I'll be able the have more superfree from tomorrow when the shopping arrives. I just got up today and decided enough was enough and I was going to go for it. All that was in the fridge was milk and butter lol.

First weigh in tonight and i lost 1.5lbs,was hoping for a 3lb loss in my first week, however i suppose 1.5 is a good loss considering i had plenty to eat and was never hungry....and i did have a big plate of pasta bolognese 30mins before weigh in.
    Good luck to everyone.
PS,i was a member of SW years ago,and i remember from then the consultant told us that any food that has same syn value on all plans..EG chocolate/crisps/cakes etc, roughly calculated as 1 syn for every 20calories...might be useful to know in an emergency.
    Slimming World..Wk1,..STS,..Wk2,..-2LB,..Wk3,..-3.5lb,..Wk4,..-2.5,..Wk5,..-1/2lb,Wk6,..STS,..Wk7,..-1lb.
