I'm looking forward to catching up with this thread and getting some inspiration. I am a target member but about 14 pounds off my actual target weight!!! so lots of work to be done! I got the new mag at class this week so I am looking forward to reading that over the weekend and planning my menus for the next couple of weeks. Certainly when I plan, I seem to stick to it better. I'm also a red/green girl and struggle with extra easy :(

Out of interest, have any of you who attend a group been able to get your paws on the extra easy summer cookbook ? I ordered it the moment my consultant mentioned about it but she is still waiting for stocks.... there was an offer that if you bought a 12 week countdown, you got the book free I think but you could also buy it for £4.95 (if i remember correctly).

I got it with a countdown (although had to wait a couple of weeks to get it).

Had a quick look & there's some nice ideas in there.

    Hi all

Some of you long termers will remember me and hello to those who don't.

I stopped going to class in April (thought I could do it on my own) :o

Big mistake, I have managed to regain 8lbs.

So I rejoined again 2 weeks ago. I lost 4½lb last week

    (I do red only)

cyclingyorkie, you must be shattered. I hope DD is better soon. I also have an ongoing problem and have been eating dyno rod soup like it is going out of fashion. I am impressed that a works do had such healthy choices.

    Today's plan is
    B; veggie sausage x 3 (6syns) 2 poached eggs and grilled tomato
L: porridge (HEB) ss (HEA) lots of tea
D: chilli and rice made with lots of veggies
Snacks so far 2 apples, plum and nectarine. Lots more to eat :) and more teas
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hi Jill.....welcome 'home':) well done on this weeks loss :T

Cycling Yorkie....Hope DD feels better soon.....tis horrible when they are poorly - and ear infections are the pits :(

As for the Poo Fairies.....I think they are on strike Dunno.gif they let me down BIG time last week again the nasty little sods
I'm currently sat eating a mahoooooosive dish of sprouts in an effort to produce a magic sausage today :o:rotfl: (Ive run out of Dyno Rod so its the next best thing in the freezer)

I've just found out that we are dog sitting for a week from Monday for BILs rather lovely but crazy staffies as he has to work away. Now I'm not sure yet whether we are having them here or staying there.....we have no garden here as we have the penthouse bit of an apartment complex and I really don't know how the youngest dog will be with trying to chase the birds (up and over the top of the balcony probably if we leave the door open ) BIL does have a downstairs loo which will be ok for me thru the day.....but getting up to bed at night is going to be a real hassle.....unless i sleep on ANOTHER SODDING SOFA :(:rotfl: and come home to shower etc, but the dogs are soooo lovely and we really didn't have the heart to say no, plus it will be nice to have 'something' to talk to while MR D is at work lol.

Right I'm off now ..... the doggies are visiting.....need to shut the doors so they don't chase the birds!!! be back in a bit

Hi everyone, I am back too. I have been following all your adventures (!) but not posting for a while. Tough for those of you who have job problems, congrats to those with new jobs.

Commiserations Dizzy, glad you are still in charge of the tank though, we need you!

Does anyone know how Mrs M is doing? Is her mum any better?

And WELL DONE all you great losers out there in cyberspace.

I am keeping going fairly steadily, have lost 5 1/2 stone now since the end of last year, and am lighter (and a size smaller) than when I left school over 40 years ago.

The losses have slowed down now, but I am still persevering, I want to lose the roll round my middle, which prob means another stone.

So I keep coming back for recipe ideas, and the encouragement of knowing it's possible to blow it and then get up and start again - you have done it, so I can do it!!

    THANK YOU!:T:T:TYOU ARE GREAT:T:T:T

I am really proud that i managed to make good sensible choices - but if my system gives up and goes on strike I will be so :mad::mad:

You really did - well done! :j

Off to make dyno rod soup. The name makes me laugh - is it that "bad" (or should i say good?!?!) :rotfl:
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

    Wow well done you!! x

Was good last night and had veggie curry and rice, but did sucumb (sp?) to some mini bahjees and half a naan. But had no other syns.

    Green day for me today:

B - scrambled egg, beans, saute pots
L - big salad, HB egg
D - HM SF veggie chilli (red k beans, cannellini beans, onions, garlic, celery, peppers, tinned toms, chilli), olive oil for cooking (HEB), 1 x tortilla (6syns), cheese (2 x HEA), rice, lettuce
Snacks - banana, jelly (0.5syns), cereal bar (HEB)
Drinks - coffee, fruit tea, water, squash, diet sprite

    Total syns = 7.5

Still got room for some other syns if I fancy them after tea but doubt I can fit any in!

    Hello!
I had my WI this morning, and still no loss. I'm really fed up. I've been eating really well, so healthily, but still can't get below 13st 12. I've started doing the 30 day shred and hope that taking some exercise will help, but am really at a loss to see what I'm doing wrong.
Anyway, today is green as ever:
    Oats, nectarine, banana, yog (b)
carrot and lentil soup, wm roll (b)
    another roll (6 syns)
and dinner is going to be a bean and millet bake with cabbage.
And a cup of tea later to use up my A choice.

DS is having 2 friends to sleep over as it's his birthday on Monday, so the house is full of pizza, chocolate cake, sweets and crisps. I'm just telling myself that I don't eat stuff like that any more and trying to ignore it......
Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.

I had a strange day yesterday. Went to (yet another) buffet do which was pretty carp but I was hungry so had to eat something. I had chicken goujons which I picked all the breadcrumb stuff off (is that the goo in goujons?). Not very elegant but needs must. The only other food available was sandwiches, sausage rolls and the most disgusting looking cake imaginable. I had 6 small sandwiches with (I think) wholemeal bread. There was some spread and mayo in some fillings.

I've never done this before, but I'm planning to cut back on HEBs for the next few days to try and balance out the fact that I had 3 days worth of HEBs yesterday. I'm reckoning that they're still healthy whether I have them all at once or spread through the week????

    Todays EE menu:

B: NAS squash, 2 fried eggs, tomatoes, HEB toast, HEA milk in teas
L: ham, tomatoes, banana mixed into banana Muller
D: duck, dauphinois potatoes, peas, carrots, onion, cauliflower
    Syns: weekend wine:j

In Asda today they were giving samples of Total 0% yogurt and 30p voucher for money off. It was great to have a 'free' snack (in both senses) while I was doing the foodshop.

P.S. as we speak I have a slow cooker full of soup cooking. It's basically lentil and bacon but with loads of veg in as well. It'll make good lunches despite the fantastic summer weather (not!!!)
