Hello
I'm shattered after this week, was looking forward to coming home and vegging out but I picked up DS from the childminder and he said 'we HAVE to go to the school bbq'. Hele aves he school to go to secondary next week, and has volunteered to help run one of the stalls, but my heart sank. So, I took him there for 5.30, had a chat with my brother and then left at 10 past 6. DS is still there (it's perfectly safe) and I'll go back in a while to collect him. I'm just disappointed that I can't get my pj's on and have a glass of wine right this minute!!
Anyway, green for me - I'm vegetarian so anything else would be pointless!
oats, berries and yog (B)
nectarine
ryvita and cow cheese (a and b)
3 more nectarines, a plum, and a punnet of cherries
I started eating a packet of quorn lite bites, like fridge raiders but quorn. I ate one, it was disgusting so put the rest in the bin.
And I'm just cooking some wholemeal pasta which I'll have with lemon juice and herbs on,
I shall happily spend today's syns on wine after the week I've had. Must try to stop at 2 glasses though.....
Happy evening allSay what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -
I'll dodge the quorn light bites then! We don't really see a lot of the quorn range from my experience in Northern Ireland. Id love to get my hands on a bag of the steak pieces but they're like gold dust!A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Hi All
Lurker Shazzle here x I wondered if you would share your thoughts on which type of week gives you better results and why ...Green/Red or EE?
I try and do EE as I like the balance of it but do struggle when given a free(er) reign on the G/R days to keep control (I make monster "healthy" currys and then eat loads!)
I need to lose about 2 stone before 26.11 and love exercise... I also love beer and pizza hence 2 stone....BUUUT would be happy to take any advise from you...
Oh and formally hello to you all. I have followed you for months xx
Hi, I usually do mostly red days with a few green here and there. I have tried extra easy but I think I overdo it volume wise so don't really seem to lose on that.
The reason for mainly doing red is that my husband and I (sound like the queen there) both love meat and fish and eat loads of it so it makes more sense to stick to red days. When I do do a green day I tend to use one of my healthy extra B choices on meat or chicken.

Hello everyone, I don't think these red days are doing me much good in the Dizzy - oh I mean the lavvy - department :rotfl: but I realise I am struggling to get 2 HEBs down me. when I do EE I find it easy to do the HEB bit but to be very frank with you all I have stopped buying any fibreplus bars, Weetabix Oaty bars, Alpen lights - they are just toooooo easy to eat. Thus my struggle. Anyway just trudged to the book and scanned the pages for inspiration; I had a warmed up Co-op wholemeal pitta with salad and smoked salmon for tea and just couldnt face ryvita or pagans. I turned the page and whoooohoooo loads and loads of dried and cooked fruit - I'd forgotten that! So I've had 71g of dried apricots and very nice too.
I'm in the Race for Life at Stoneleigh in Warks on Sunday is anyone else doing that one? I'm going to add a link (if I haven't already, long ago) to my profile on here so if anyone feels like sticking a quid on it will be so much appreciated! (edit to add: I've put it into my sig at the bottom look!)
To Shazzle, I do EE usually, I find it so easy, but my weight has suddenly stopped vanishing and just sat there so I decided to try a red week. Really though I prefer EE. I think my weight loss stopped because I was eating too many syns and then conveniently forgetting them, tbh.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!
