We had a power cut today so it encouraged me to get on and make 'dyno rod' soup. Can someone direct me to a link to show syns for it please? I am an online SW subscriber if that helps, thank you :)

    Today's meal plan;
    EE today
B porridge made with water with milk on top, HEB and part of HEA, nectarine and apple.
    Lunch Dyno rod soup
Dinner sausage casserole with loads of veggies. Made with veggie sausage.

    snacks, fruit.

I haven't been eating a scan bran with my porridge, will a ryvita do instead?
Last night I ate two at bedtime with a scraping of butter as my syns

I need your help! :o I seem to have hit a self-destruct button and I have gone so far off plan that I need a map to find my way back! In the past 6 weeks I have managed to gain 9lbs :eek: - totally my own fault.
We have been invited to a wedding in 6 weeks and I desperately want to lose this (and more besides!) before then.
I am usually quite disciplined and organised when I am at work but at home I'm a disaster - my main meals are okay but my snacking (and wine input) goes off the Syn scale! :(

I am quite new to the new Extra Easy so am still learning but will be here to support you.
I did the same, went off course for a few months and gained 8lbs. My first weigh in since restarting SW is today.

Having DH, DB, and 3 x DSs living here makes me have to have super human will power as they have all sorts of naughty foods in the house. I make them put them on a top shelf that I can't reach :D But they still have lots of syning foods in the fridge.

maman - i have been doing mainly Greens as i am not a big meat eater. Haven't got my head around EE yet!

Do you have to have an EE lunch and tea? I have to eat at work so i tend to bring a salad, usually with pasta or couscous which makes it Green . . . could i then go on to have an EE tea providing i have had only 1 x HEX A and B?? (this is usually consumed at breakfast as i'm a weetabix addict!)

I'm afraid I'm no expert on Green, having been 'brought up' on EE but my understanding is that you have to choose which plan you want for a complete day. But as you've said you don't eat much meat then I can't see that EE would be any benefit to you. There are lots of people on here who vary their plans so hopefully someone can give you a good answer.

Look at the very first post on this thread, I'm sure the recipe for soup is there and I think it's free on all plans!

Great news for me, I lost 1.5lbs at WI this morning and got my 3 stone award!!!:j

    MORNING ALL,

Well as I predicted I did rubbish last night and put on 2.1/2 lb. I knew I had but now feel more determined than ever. I have been to the gym this morning and am going to Zumba (first time) tomorrow evening. If I can get to the gym in the morning I will do that as well.

Very well done to all the losers and big hugs for those, like me who are struggling a bit.

This plan DOES work, but we have to stick to it. xxx

I think (if i remember from when I synned it up ages ago) its something like 1.5 for 2 squares off a big bar.......I'm sooooo sad I went through phase of knowing all the syns of individual squares of the family size choccie bars - I liked getting more bits of choccie for my syns in the evening :p:rotfl:

    Hi all,

Can i grab some advice. Wanting to loose weight asap but healthy. For the following reasons

    1. Had baby 9 weeks ago and seriously am chunky now lol.
    2. Having gallbladder issues. (if i eat lots of fatty, greasy food i get bad back ache in the early hours)
    3. Have a party and holiday coming up.
    4. Have a diagnosed mild bladder prolapse (cystocele) and undiagnosed rectocele and apparently is worse in overweight people.

I want to join slimming world but seriously have hardly any cash. Cant afford £20 a month on either online or group.

What i want to know is i can get the books off ebay. Could i realistally do the plan this way or do i really need to do online/group.

Good luck with Zumba - word of advice, take at least 1 litre of water & a towel - you will need it!

It is a fantastic workout - i really enjoy it, but feel it a couple of days after! My next sesson is on Saturday - can't wait!

After my gain on Monday & a crappy tuesday (involved 4 bakewells & whole packet of cadburys fingers!) I had a good day yesterday where i didn't have any syns

Hoping today will be a syn free day - i know i should have syns everyday - but i feel i don't deserve them over the last couple of days!

    Today is a green day

B - Rice, ff from frais, cherries
    S - Banana
    L - leftover quorn chilli & rice
    S - peach & plums
D - Mexican soup (toms, beans, onion, spices, carrot, potato)
S - 5 scan bran (heb) to dip in soup (or 2 slices of nimble), hifi bar (heb), milk in coffee (heb)

Tomorrow is a red day as i am out with mates

    B - straws & ff yog/from frais
    L - HM Bacon & brocolli quiche
    S - Seafood sticks & plums
D - out at pub - going to have mixed grill (chicken, gammon, steak) going to give fat & sausages & onion rings to DH and swap chips for jacket (heb) & peas for beans (heb) and might order 2 fried eggs (2) and for dessert i will have a latte (they use SS milk - hea)

Hope everyone is doing well x

people charge alot for the books on ebay. you may be better off going to class once. have the introductory talk and getting the joining pack for around £10 depending on what offers they are doing for new members. once you have been you are under no obligation to go back.

ok good afternoon people, i am ee today

b - tall skinny latte (hea), 2 alpen light (heb), nectarine
    l - veg pasta, cheesecake muller (1), nectarine, 2 x satsumas

dinner will probably be 1 wholemeal toast (4.5), baked beans, bacon. might do a little salad as a starter to up my superfrees

question - i am taking my nephews out for lunch on saturday and was wondering what is the best place to go to from either pizza hut, pizza express or zizzis??
i think i have probably ruled out pizza hut as i would be too tempted to have pizza.
in pizza express i would either have a salad with dough sticks (i am not paying for them and not eating them lol) or one of those pizzas with a salad in the middle
or in zizzi i would go for a tomatoey pasta dish
