Morning All,
Hope you had a good weekend?
I managed ok - but i did give in to a kebab on fri night - not too bad as i went to Zumba sat morning and using a website it told me i burnt somewhere in the region of 900 cals - so should have limited the damage!
My mum is joining me tonight - be interesting to see how well she does!
Need some ideas for my slow cooker this week - any suggestions? I am getting a little bored with chilli & don't like spag bol!
Going shopping tonight so can get some ingredients if don't have at home
Also i have loads (i mean kgs) of dried beans & chickpeas etc. Any ideas for those?
It will be interesting to hear your ideas x
WI tonight Fingers Crossed x0 -

h007, I couldn't find AMT on the website but there ae loads of different Starbucks frappacinos starting from about 9 syns and getting progressively worse:eek:

Thanks for the Starbucks info H007! What is the deal with using them for HEAs? I usually have the tall caramel light one if I go. 6.5 syns isn't very much but would it be even less if I used it as a HEA?

Thank you!
I know with hot starbucks coffee you can cancel out up to 6 syns by including the milk used as your healthy extra A, making many of the small/medium drinks syn free.
must admit i am not 100% sure this is the case with the cold coffees but I dont see why the rule would be different.
i only have one about once a week as a treat now whereas i used to have it everyday with a cinnamon swirl  @ the calories and the £££!!0 -
Well that was a really busy, very long weekend at work! But I have also surprised myself. While at work on Sat, there was Ham Salad on the menu, and my co worker said that there was no way that the kids would go for it, I said that anything could be made to look appealing, and was given the challenge of making it so the kids would accept it. I was delighted (and my co-worker astounded) when the kids not only ate everything on offer, but then went back for seconds!!!! Anyway, when I got home at 11.30 that night, I really fancied something to eat but couldn't figure out what to have. In the past I would have thrown bread in the toaster and had loads of cheese with it, but instead I had half a pot of LF rhubarb yog and a nectarine. Then on Sunday while on an errand for work I felt starving, after leaving home that morning with no bf, so I popped into Mr T where not so long ago I would have grabbed a prawn mayo or blt sandwich or even a bag of doghnuts, and I actually had a chuckle when I saw that in my basket were strawberrys, grapes, melon and bananas! Then while I was cooking the dinner at work (roast chic & lots of veg) I was constantly delving into a tub of plums which had been picked from a tree in the garden. So I really have found this w/e to be a revelation regarding my changed shopping and eating habits. Long may it continue0
