So we can't actually eat as much fruit as we like? I personally can go through 10 oranges a day...

Yes you can eat as much fruit as you want:p.....Ive eaten a whole bag of clementines & a tub of pineapple this afternoon ;) Its just that if you blend it up you destroy the fibre content and make it easier to digest so it becomes 'synning'
for the record - I bet if I had blended up the same amount of fruit it wouldn't have filled me up either or taken up very much volume in the jug!:o

Ah okay, that makes sense :) phew, was worried about my orange consumption then! Once I get started on them I just can't stop!

I thought with the fruit/smoothie thing, it was because of the breakdown of sugars and how fast it increases your sugar levels in the blood, so the G.I. is higher when fruit is blended?? Im not sure but either way I think its easier to just eat the fruit, cos blending means you have to clean out the nuisance smoothie maker/blender and takes you ages and loads of fruit just for a tiny glass lol xx

Well done Magnolia - that's fantastic.

Haven't been on for a few day - bit of a stressful time at the moment. I put on 1.5lbs last week but I've hopefully done better this week.

Zippychick - if you don't eat meat very often - I'd stick to green and then just do Extra Easy on the days you're planning on having meat. You can mix the days as much as you like.

    Morning!
I've had a rubbish few days, seems to be turning into a regular thing so am going to do some planning today and get myself ready for the week, which is going to be a stressful one so I'l have to try extra hard to stick to the good stuff.
So, I'm going to fill the fridge with low fat tasties later, and have done a menu for the week that includes some different things so that it's a bit more interesting.
    Green today:
    Granola, yogurt, cherries (6)
    Carrot and coriander soup
Roast: SW roast potatoes, loads of veggies, and I'm going to make a bean roast from mixed pulses bound together with egg. My sister told me how to make it ages ago, I can't remember it exactly though so it'll be my own interpretation of it! I'd really like a nut roast but the syns in that would be ridiculous!
I may also either go for a bike ride or do an exercise dvd, depending on whether I find the time as my house if revolting and I MUST do some housework.

    Have a super sunday everyone!!!
