I also took pain killers last night which stuck in my throat and still keep burning every so often. Really uncomfortable. Am off to see my mum [when hubby gets dressed ] so hopefully will cheer me up.
Will try my damndest to keep on track today as feeling bloated [* week] and totally yuk.

This completely baffles me, does anyone know why this is? I don't understand how eating the exact same thing in a different way causes it to gain syns...
I've thought it before when I read that eating an orange was fine but if you were to juice that orange the juice would have syns...
is that the fruit becomes less satisfying or filling. So if you whizzed up a pound of strawberries compared to eating the pound of strawberries in their natural state - they are less filling whizzed up so you eat more
The short answer - they don't fill you as much when pureed/whizzed etc as to when they are in their natural state.
not sure how well ive explained that....:pA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Zippy Chick........you shouldn't be doing EE if you're eating veggie style, there's absolutely no point!! Unless you're having some meat stick with green and have the extra cheese!!
Dizzy, sorry to hear your having problems with the lift.....I'd be soooo mad if I was you!
I'm just going to look for MRSM's buffalo chicken recipe. I want to use the marinade for tonights tea. We're having Buffalo ribs, jacket potato, corn on the cob and homemade coleslaw. yummy!!0 -
Sorry I haven't posted for a few days - work has been mental and I've just applied for a promotion (will know about it next week - fingers crossed) and we had the school leavers prom last night. Considering I didn't want to go I really enjoyed it - wine (for the teachers of course!), food and dancing - and a good laugh (when they weren't looking) at the multitudes of big fat gypsy wedding style frocks and gallons of fake tan - bless the girls!
I was good all day and then had 4 big glasses of wine, some tomato soup and a roll, the teeniest cheese and tomato tartlet and my gay best friend stole my dessert to " save me from myself!". The cheeky b*gger -he's starting to podge up a bit so may regret it soon!;)
I weighed this morning and have miraculously lost 1lb - I am trying to maintain and so far have stayed the same-ish (give or take a lb or two either way).
I've managed this by being good during the week and have a day or two off at the weekend (this weekend being last night's do and a treat or two to recover today).
On the subject of food prices - I went to Mr T's today and noticed lots of things I always buy have increased in price - for example, Heinz beans and sausages were 90p and are now £1.07! Value chocolate digestives were 30p ish and are now 50p! (both of these are for the OH not me). When will it end????
On the positive side I have loads of good stuff to make me stick to plan ..................0 -

you explained it very well :T
Its also got something to do with it altering the composition of the fruit & it breaking down its fibre content I think? (if my grey matter remembers correctly)

I think you're right about the pureed fruit reasoning zippychick. The way it was explained to me is that if you were eating an orange you could probably manage only one or two at most then you'd feel full but you could eat loads more if they were juiced. So it's sort of to prevent you over-eating.
I eventually had a packet of Batchelor's Golden rice for my lunch and a stir-fry of bits of all the suitable veg I could find. It was delicious. Then I went to Lidl and saw that Golden Rice is 4 for £1.20 which is even cheaper than Asda's offer. So now I have 8 packets:D0
