Well done Drea and all the other losers. I had a sneaky WI this morn and have STS since last Sunday, grrrrr. Although I havent helped myself all now....

B: strawberries and FF yog. Alpen light (0.5HEb)
L: tuna mayo salad sandwich (HEb + 2). seabrook crisps (8.5)
S: apple, carrot sticks and philly (0.5HEa), another alpen light (0.5HEb)

So I'm on 10.5 syns already, which would be fine if I wasnt out for dinner tonight! Does anyone know of anything I can eat in the trafford centre for free on what now appears to be a red day??

    Hi All.
I have been following you all since last year, when I joined SW. However I have only just managed to reset my password and so now can join in (if you'll have me?).
I joined SW March 2010 after seeing myself on a DVD taken while on holiday, and really having a jaw dropping moment when I saw myself, I knew I was getting bigger, but as I could (just) still fit into my clothes, I thought I was OK. Boy, how wrong can you be????
Anyway, after trying to go it alone for a couple of weeks, I decided to bite the bullet and join SW. I had years previously joined another slimming group, but only lost the money paid in subs! So I was a bit dubious to say the least. Well, just over a year later (scenic route most definitely) I am now almost at my first BIG target, and am really quite focused now, which is surprising for me. I have started to enjoy (some) forms of excercise too, I love going out on my bike for ever lengthening rides, and regularly use the Wii fit & Bigest Loser Challenge, and go to a pilates class once a week.
I would like to thank you all for the motivation that I have received through your posts and the recipies have been great.
I hope to be able to really join in now.

I know we've talked a bit about how SW food can be expensive but.... I bought my usual loaf of WW Brown Danish today and in a week it's gone up from 75p to 93p a loaf!! That's a 24% increase:eek: But never mind, we're all in this together. I expect Mrs Cameron feels just as angry when she's ripped off.;)

    Hi,
May I join you again please? I gave up SW as we were very busy setting up our business but I now have time to eat properly and signed up on line this afternoon.
My weight loss was 2 stone 5 lbs with SW, I gained 4lbs by eating whatever was put in front of me and I now have every intention to lose the last 2 stone by planning sensible eating. We went shopping for lots of fruit, veg and Mullerlight yoghurt yesterday so I am reaDY.
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

    Hey all

    Well done losers :p

I got back from my work trip yesterday, and did manage to eat quite SW friendly whilst away. However I did kinda blow it last night! :o I ended things with the guy I've been casually dating as he is going away for summer then to uni, so went round to the girls flat next door. My neighbour was making cupcakes so had 2 of those. Then came home and had some garlic bread and potato wedges and 3 glasses of wine :rotfl:. Just so glad I was too tight to buy a Dominos takeaway!! So going to try to be low syn for few days.

    Green day for me:

B - 2 eggs fried in frylight on HM WM bread (HEB), LF marg (1syn)
L - jacket spud, beans and cheese (HEA)
D - pasta with HM SF tomato/vegi sauce, cheese (HEA and HEB)
Snacks - banana, cherries, grapes, pear, jelly (0.5syns)
Drinks - coffee, fruit tea, diet 7up, water, squash.

    Total syns = 1.5

Hi, does anyone mind if I join? I started slimming world last wednesday. Ive done it before a few years ago on green with success. I tried it last year but put weight on - but I am chalking this down to medication i had also started at the same time. I have an existing medical condition i hope won't now cause me problems with slimming world. Fingers crossed, I really want to shift the extra pounds once and for all.:D:o

I exercise quite a lot and possibly don't eat as much as i should. I was shrinking in size (weight doesnt seem to change if i drop dress sizes) while doing a huge amount of exercise and on 1500 calories a day but as i cook from scratch i found the calorie counting extremely time consuming.

Weigh in next wednesday and hoping it will work. I think it's a really excellent plan and hope I get results !!! Ive given up smoking 8 weeks ago which has lead to eating more than normal so I really need to get moving on it!

    Yesterday

B melon, HEB hi fi bar, banana, coffee (1)
L Macaroni cheese omelette (2.4 syns for 100ml milk) with SW chips (omelette eaten in two sittings) Cheese used as HEA
D Spag bol with sprinkle cheese (1)

    Snacks- Melon and mullerlight
    Syns 2.4 milk, 1 cheese, 1 coffee, 3 Alpen light, Weightwatchers crackers 3.5 = 11-11.5 syns
    Exercise - cycled 30mins, 10mins, 10 mins

    Today
B HEB toast, beans, spread (1) Melon
L Homemade veg/chickpea/quorn curry with HM pilau rice (2) Strawberries, melon and mullerlight
D SW spicy chips (0.5) with 42g mozerella HEA over roasted vegetables and maybe a quorn sausage (1). Having a curly wurly later (6)

That's 3.5 without the sausage which is why Im debating it :D Aiming for ten syns a day.

Exercise - Cycled 10mins, 5mins, 10mins. Swam 5 lengths then got out as the pool was too full and i was on the verge of losing my rag! :o

May go for a walk later.

Note - There are syns on the chips as I bought this today and checked online - half a syn for 5g. I don't know what made me buy it, I normally would make stuff like that myself!:rotfl:

I do wonder if green would be better for me as i dont eat much meat but the consultant said to try EE .

Oops, didn't mean to post an essay:o

    Hello zippy!

I do green days only as I'm veggie but I don't do classes and my SW books are pre EE. However on Green you get 2 HEA's and 2 HEB's which is better than EE!

I have pre EE books and post! I'm really struggling not having two As as I love my cheese but will definitely give extra easy a go. I;m not veggie but cook for a veggie boyf so very rarely buy meat apart from bacon! My neighbour is doing it with me so she made me real mince spag bol last night which was weird as im used to Quorn mince.

Have you lost twenty lbs if i understand your sig right?x:D

Does anyone save their syns up or is it recommended to be consumed daily?

Well I've lost a tiny bit more than that now, need to update it. But I'm definately taking the scenic route there, it's taking me months!!

I use syns on daily basis cos I can't be trusted when I save them up :rotfl:
