Just had to share with you all, tried size 14 trousers on today in Peacocks, and they were to big, so I walked out the shop with a massive smile on my dial, with my size 12's in my bag :-)
That's great Susie:T I'm still loving looking through the smaller sizes and not battling to the back of the rack for the 16s and 18s. It's the best feeling.0 -

Thanks mamanYour right, i'm so used to the colours on the hangers for the 16's and 18's too, I still immediately go to the back of the racks though, been doing it for so long haha yayyyyyy feels great doesn't it. My friend gave me the best compliment last night at the pub too, she said, and I quote "Oh I hate you now you bi**h, you have halved in size" it felt wonderful :rotfl:

'Tis that Friday feeling today……….1.5lb loss on the scales this morning. After last week's 5lb loss, I was expecting a little more as I thought I had finally cracked this - however, I think that 6.5lb overall since I started 4 weeks back is not to be sniffed at - better than not losing, and better than gaining - and when I think about it, it's not a kick in the butt off half a stone, so you know what, it ain't so bad!
Toomuchness - I felt the way you did - but now I'm coming around to the fact that it's probably better coming off gradually, and that this is a life thing as opposed to a quick fix...
Today's plan is as follows:
B Eggs, bacon - followed by yip, berries - no surprise there….
L Dyno rod soup, muller light and more sodding berries - spot a theme here……………….
D Not sure yet - am going out for the first time in absolute ages - 2 of my lovely friends thought I deserved a bit of a break and are taking me out for the night - I will make healthy choices though - this won't be difficult as I am not hard to please with regards to food! It'll be the wine that will be the killer - however, it's good to have a treat, and not to deprive yourself
Have a fabulous weekend everyone

It does feel wonderful and hopefully sends a message that the plan is worth sticking with although it can be difficult along the way. You and I are of a very similar weight now Susie and, although many posters may be looking to be much lighter, at 5ft 9in that makes me very close to a universal (as opposed to expensive shops only) size 12.
Lilo, I can definitely commend the scenic route, I've lost on average 1 to 1.5lbs a week since October and it's very manageable.
Not 100% sure what I'll be eating today. I'm going to a party this evening with a buffet. It could be that there'll be cold meats, salads etc but I'm not sure. My plan is to eat plenty before I go so I'm not really hungry.
B: NAS squash, boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk with teas
L: ham, LO fried potato and beetroot
D (early one): salad sandwich and berries with yogurt
Snacks and Syns: wine syns cos it's Friday:j and any SW friendly buffet bits0 -
Morning all. I just got rained on again! I really should bring a jacket for walking to and from meetings when the sky is black!!!
I'm soo ready for the weekend. I was in bed at 9.30pm last night! The lasagne I was planning on for tea last night turned into just bolognese as it was less work than bolognese!!
Food today is EE:
brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banana
Lunch - jacket potato, leftover bolognese (has lots of SFs in), stawbs, rasps
Tea - ??? at OH's parents so will save my syns for this!!0 -
Morning Campers!
Well, After a really horrible day yesterday spent at Leeds Hospital (first appointment.. Neurology for my Botox shots for the spasms, then straight to the ENT dept for my 'magic ear' dressings changing) I came home to find the bloody lift to the apartment was broken  so we had to go wait at mums while the engineers were called out......after 2 hours of messing they decided it needed a part that they didnt have so I ended up having to sleep on my mums sofa as I couldnt manage the stairs to my own home :( (and mum has a downstairs loo etc as she is in a wheelchair)
THEN i went to WI - and had a sodding 1lb gain!!!:eek:  I have no idea where that one came from :think: I think the fairies added something to me when they took the poo away
My only possible theory is maybe I didn't eat enough the last few days when I had a crappy appetite from feeling grotty? or maybe the couple of green days again hasn't agreed with mecos I know hand on heart I didn't go off plan in any way.
So I wasn't in the best of moods last night.....or now even.....as I'm still waiting for news from the managing agent of the building to see whether the lift is repaired (I love my mum to bits - but I really want to be at home for the weekend not camped out on her sofa:() AND SHE DOESN'T DO DIETING.....she likes to feed me up (she is worse than the fairies:eek:)
I will keep you posted.......0 -
Morning All,
Had a weird day yesterday
Started the day with a headache and had my yog & strawbs for brekkie & then was in a meeting until 1ish
Tried to scoff in a couple mouthfuls of lunch (pasta)
Then had a walk around site, then straight into a meeting

By time that meeting had ended (4pm) i went straight into another meeting until 5pm
Then went to my desk & came over all dizzy, cold, shaky, cold sweats and felt like i wanted to be sick
Anyone know what that was about? Low blood sugars?
Anyway i had another alpen light on way home & when i got home at about 6pm i went straight to bed and slept until 7 this morning!
I did wake up about 9.30 when DH went to bed so got up to have some water & tablets & felt weird still so had a small piece choc

morning (just)
had a bitty dinner last night. had some cold veg/dairylea pasta when i got in cos i was soaking wet and just wanted to eat!!
then later in the evening i decided to make scrambled egg but it made me feel sick (2nd time in a row this has happened) so i threw that away and just had a minestrone mugshot.
feeling generally rubbish due to big cold sore that has made half my face ache but thankfully i can still eat lol
todays food =
b - grapes, 2 alpen light (heb), cheesecake muller (1)
l - veg/dairylea pasta (hea), ww tortillas (4), grapes
dinner - i have ham and olives to use up in my fridge so may make a salad involving those and some hard boiled eggs0 -
Hmm just weighed since my holiday... how is it possible I have lost 1 lb! I've spent a week eating and drinking whatever I liked...Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0
