Its a Campbells one - my Tesco have decided to not stock the Batchelors one anymore and when I checked the Campbells one (after buying it) on the Syns Calculator it came out at 2 syns.

    Tastes ok though!

    That makes sense now thanks.

Does anyone else struggle with breakfasts on EE? I end up having to have fruit as well to make sure I'm having enough superfree. Does that make sense?

I always have fruit for my brekki now its warmer anyway.

when it was colder I was having the packets of Oatso simple mixed half & half water/milk, but then an hour or so later I would have some fruit for the superfree ;)

    Hello.
I joined slimming world twice in the last 5 years, but at different groups.
Both times I lost nearly 3 stone, but ended up putting lots of it back on.

    I now weigh 19 6lb
    heaviest was 21 4lb
    I am 5 ft 5

I am really struggling this time. My head isn't in the right place to stick to the diet.

I don't find the group leader helpful at all.
Would a different group leader help me more? They seem to be in it to take your money, have a bit of a talk, then off you go! I just don't seem to be getting support from this one

When I said I was struggling, she just says - "try harder and you will lose 2 lb next week"

Other people have stopped going, because they don't feel they are getting help.

I am on anti depressants as well and struggling in other areas.

Sorry for moaning. I want to lose weight, but I can't seem to get into it like I have before.

    Hi ;)

    welcome to the thread

Sorry to hear you're struggling at the moment :o My advice to you is most definately if at all possible change to another group!! we had a different consultant a while back for a short time (she was a relief one while they found us a permanent one) she was TERRIBLE  we lost almost half the members and I felt like she was just 'taking our money & giving us a quick talk'
We have a new consultant now who is FAB totally committed to helping us and the class has doubled in size.

Its never easy doing anything when your head isnt in the right place:( and being on the Antidepressants does impact on this I know :o
Stick around on this thread.....were a friendly bunch and we'll all be willing to help if you get stuck with anything ;)

Rockie4, where do you buy your Natco cornmeal? I have looked on MySupermarket.com, but none of the big 4 stock it. I really like the idea of making a loaf tin full. :)

Sainsburys!! It's in the ethnic section, they have HUGE bags of chickpeas too :D

We've got all the supermarkets within walking distance but Sainsbugs is the only one that has the BIG bags. Do you have any Aisian shops nearby that might stock it?

Does anyone else find some of thier fellow members a tad irritating? Yesterday when I went to my meeting and got weighed etc, my friend and I sat down for the group meeting and were the first ones to do so, others were milling about or waiting to be weighed.
Been sitting about 5 mins when an older lady stood infront and said you cant sit there mind, these are Dot and Elsies seats. I said oh I see well il see if Dot and Elsie make an appearance then thanks for that. So 5 minutes later I could see the woman with another two woman who turned out to be Dot n Elsie marching over, and they asked for thier seats. When informing them there was no name stickers on the seats so I didnt know everyone had a specific seat, I asked if she could she me where ours were as it was only our second week was this something we had missed? She said sit where you like but me n Dot have sat there since we started and we intend to carry on.
Out of principle I refused to budge so they scowled at me throughout the meeting and in the car park said, you better be here early next week if you intend stealing our seats again. It tickled me all day thinking about it!!

    Thank you!
I will start reading here if I don't get any support from the consultant.

the fiver a week would be better spent on the gym or extra fruit for me, as it seems a waste at the moment.

She twitters on for ages about what she has done in the past week.

I wish my GP had a slimming club once a month. They used to but stopped it

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
