have decided I just dont have the willpower to stick to this plan on my own so I am starting back at group tomorrow, it will be a different group as I have moved and I hope this consultant is abit better than my last one.

at the moment if you join you get the 1st week free and if you sign up to a 12 week countdown you also get a free cookbook so I think I will do that. as not only do you get something free (yay) but paying in advance will make me go to class.

I agree, it's only buying Countdowns that kept me going through ...erm... thick and thin until I reached my target, and now I've set a new target and bought another countdown (ok, I've one week left and I haven't actually lost anything yet ...)
    Today so far:

    Green

B: weetabix & milk (HEb and HEa)
S: punnet of cherries, fruit salad
L: tesco tuna and veg sushi (1.5), strawberries

Got alpen lights in my bag to prevent the pre- and post-supermarket sugar cravings (i am a sucker for the sweets by the till)
That's why they put 'em there. There's 2 strategies you could use that work for me:
    1. Get one over on the marketing ploys the supermarkets use by NOT buying the sweets temptingly placed by the till
    or
    2. Keep looking fondly and proudly at your basket full of FREE and SUPERFREE foods and refuse to sully it with chocolate :D
I actually got my hearts desire the other week when someone I knew was behind me in the queue and commented "that's a basketfull of healthy stuff you have there". :rotfl:

After I'd eaten my sandwich I remembered that mustard isn't free, but I did enjoy it. I think that mustard powder is free. Does that mean that if I make up the mustard myself (rather than from a jar) with a bit of water then it's free??
Maman - YES! Mix up your own. Dunno what they put in the readymade stuff - oil? sugar? but when I was little we mixed mustard powder with (I think) vinegar, but it works just as well with water. Either way it's free.

I have high hopes for WI this week, I've been pretty good and had lots of superfree and superspeed foods. It's tomorrow so with luck the Pooh Fairies will remain with me instead of abandoning me like they usually do on a Tuesday, I'm eating loads of kiwi fruit cos I think the Pooh Fairies like kiwi fruit.

Morning all. It's another lovely day here, I hope it lasts till the weekend so I can make the most of it after being stuck inside this weekend.

I can't beleive I've never thought of mixing up my own mustard using the powder....I have some in the cupboard so I'll give it a try!

I baked muffins with cream cheese frosting for the boys at work last night. I made some teeeny ones in petit four cases for me so hopefully I can stick with just having one of those! We need cheering up as it was announced yesterday that both of the machines we look after will be closing in september so our jobs will go with them. Hopefully we'll all be lucky enough to find something else though, I'm not too worried as my manager has told me in secrety about some plans they have that may mean it'll actually work out better for me!!

    Food today will be EE:

Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banana, grapefruit
Lunch - rice, tuna, toms, cucumber, onions, chillis, balsamic, grapes, yogurt
Tea - HM lamb donner kebab meat, WM pitta (6), kebab sauces (4), salad, SW chips.
    Snacks - apricots

    Morning fellow sw's.

Well I started back at class last night, a new one for me as my old consultant left. I'm at Battle hill just in case anyone on here lives near me :D

Have a lot to lose so will take it a day at a time.

Had bacon and mushroom toasted sandwich so far. We are being encouraged to follow EE, but may follow original through the week and EE on the weekend.

Well done for all losses last week and have a great week this.

Just going to pop to the shop as I need a few bits and pieces for tea.

    Have a good day :T

Ps I'm glad the cashew nut idea was of use.

Crikey - Tuesday already - once you get Tuesday over, you can almost smell the weekend........

Posted yesterday that I was going to have cod, baked potatoes and stir fry veg for dinner - well, I did, but we cooked it on the bbq and it was lush - covered the cod in lemon juice, soy sauce, pepper and mixed herbs - wrapped in tin foil and barbied it - gorgeous. Chopped up loads of onions, peppers, courgettes and cold baked spud, sprayed fry lite and threw in some dried chillies - again wrapped in tin foil and chucked on barbie. Have to say folks, twas delish....there's far more to bbqing than burgers and sausages in baps! We even threw a whole banana and some strawbs (tin foil again!) and when it softened, I spooned mine over muller lite - YUM!

    Today's plan is as follows:

B Old faithful muller light, berries, melon and alpen lite
    L Baked spud, bacon, salad
D Haven't a clue yet - fancy something chicken-y, spicy couscous and veg like - who knows
Some ryvita to stave off the snacks
    Using milk for the coffees

It looks a bit miserable here today, otherwise would have concocted some other dish for the bbq...who knows, the sun might shine!

PS Are all the mugshots free on EE?? Never tried them, but thought might get some in for when the munchies jump at me..

PPS Know how you feel about new fangled techno geek scales, Take It Easy - I just wanted simple scales for a simple gal !

    Have a great day, y'all.

Ha, I am always looking in other peoples baskets and feeling smug that mine is better. Especially families obviously buying ready meals etc for the kids.... i just want to shout and tell them how to make life easier, cheaper and healthier!!

Do watch the salt and general crap content of these though... same with the 'pasta n sauces'. I think my main annoyance with SW is they allow these as free... it really does go against the ethos of healthy fresh food which they seem to promote everywhere else. Wonder why they do it?
