There are loads of SS things that might help. Obviously, dizzy's famous soup!!!;) but also substituting 'normal' SF fruit with SS fruits like melon and strawberries. I try to have something SS every day to keep the balance up. I've never done it myself but there is a variation to the plan called 'Success Express' which might help you with that final push towards your holidays. Hopefully consultant or someone with experience of it will come along and explain.
MY EE menu today:
B: HEB toast with baked beans, NAS squash, HEA milk in teas, satsuma
L: ham & tomato sandwich with mustard (0.5?), bowl of berries with yogurt
beef stir fry with loads of veg and rice
Snacks: not planning any but if hungry will have apple and cottage cheese
After I'd eaten my sandwich I remembered that mustard isn't free, but I did enjoy it. I think that mustard powder is free. Does that mean that if I make up the mustard myself (rather than from a jar) with a bit of water then it's free??0 -

Well, well, well - weighed in over the weekend, and have lost 5 lbs - it's only taken a month for any loss whatsoever to register on the scales - I am hoping that as my body has now adapted, that there will be a more consistent loss. Here's hoping - anyway although it's been frustrating especially at the start, a 5lb loss is better than a 5 lb gain....has anyone else been in the same boat with a sluggish start????????
Today's plan is as follows:
B Muller Light, old faithful berries
S Alpen Light and slice of melon
L 2 x Ryvita, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, chopped up bacon bits - itsy bitsy teaspoon of extra light mayo
S Old faithful berries - just as well they are in season - pick your own place near where we live, so quite cheap too.
D Fancy some cod, baked potato and some stir fried veg..........
Well done all you folk on your losses - with the nice weather, it's almost easier to keep to this plan - the fruit, the salads, lighter food......plus when it's so hot, drinking water is easier.
Hope you all have a great shiny day........0 -

B - strawberries
S - fibre plus (heb)
L - jacket spud with cheese (hea) and salad and crisps (5)
S - fibre plus (heb)
D - not sure yet!
S - strawberries and meringue nest (2.5)0 -
Sorry, I don't post often here, but need some advice!!!!
I have my weigh-in tonight, and I can't find where have I put the book and the card!!! I was tidying the house last week and put them away as we were having guests, and now can't find it. I have bought the 'countdown' last week for 12 weeks, and I am baffled as to where could I have 'hidden' the box.
How can I weigh in this week if I don't find my book/card?...
It shouldn't be a problem if you go to your normal group. They can give you a temporary card and you can write your weight down in your book yourself when you find it.
I'm awful for putting things away in a safe place...........too safe :rotfl:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Well done chops, good things come to those who wait :T Well done all this weeks losers :T
Back on the tank for me today, need to make the most of it as a busy week.
B - weetabix hot water/milk [.5a] coffee
Snack - apple
L - mugshot/new pots, toms, 2 x cheese straws [4], p/white [2.5], fruit salad, activia
T - think it will be cheesy pasta bake [1.5a] with onions, celery, passata & cheese, beans, bbq sauce [1] if I can be bothered to make it
Snacks - fruit salad, onken
Syns - 7.5
Will make the effort before I fall asleep
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Good evening
The snack faries found me at work today  I'd already had granola, then I had a toffee crisp, then some sugar covered almonds that a colleague brought back from hols, then when I got home I had half a ciabatta roll. I know it's not terrible as blow outs go, but I'm very disappointed with myself. Sooooo, no syn day for me tomorrow, will go ott with the fruit and hopefully it'll keep me on the straight and narrow.
Apart from the naughties, today was green like this:
weetabix and banana (a and b)
granola and yog
apple, 2 satsumas, 2 apricots
pasta and lentil bolognese leftovers
yogurt
jacket potato with beans and cheese (a)
I haven't planned very well for this week, which is my downfall.
Still, onwards and upwards!!!!Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0
