Well I think I've used up all my syns for lunch. Shame, as I was going to have a beer while watching the tennis later :(. Oh well, I could always go flexi I suppose.

    EE today:

B: banana, mullerlight, alpen light (.5 HEB), milk in teas (HEA)
L: prawns in sweet chilli sauce (1), coleslaw (3), salad, white roll with butter  (7). (In my defense I have nothing in at home, and couldn't face beans again :D so I had to have what I thought was the best option in the bakery.) satsuma
    S: alpen light (.5 HEB)
D: will be pork chop, new potatoes, carrots, broccoli, cabbage, gravy (1), fruit for pudding.

    Then maybe that beer ;)
LBM Dec 10. Total unsecured debt £41176  Nov 12 Debt Free Thanks Mum x RIP x

    Evening!!
I've spent the whole day stressing about about an egg mayonnaise sandwich. I left in a hurry this morning and didn't have anything for lunch so I got a sandwich from Asda, it was wholemeal bread and low fat mayo, and I didn't have any syns yesterday, so I'm sure it's not a disaster, it just felt like it!
So, my naughty green day has looked like this:
    weetabix and a banana(a and b)
    yog and granola (6)
    fruit
milk in tea (half an a)
    the dredded sandwich (8 syns???)
    a custard cream biscuit (3)
    lentil bolognese

Even if I've underestimated the sandwich, I don't think it's been disastrous.

I went to get some shopping at sainsbury's earlier and was shocked at how much things had gone up. I usually buy a bag of basics frozen berries. They used to be 90p, then went down to 80 for a few weeks, and today they were £1.09, I couldn't believe it. The price of coffee has also rocketed up, and loo rolls... so I'm now strapped to the Dizzy tanks and the budget wagon. Happy days!!!

Snacks - banana, pear, raspberries, Fibre plus (HEB)
    Drinks - water, squash, coffee

Hi there have been lurking for a while hope you guys can help me out?
Started SW 3 weeks ago now on EE have stuck to it, and also have started going to the gym 3 times a week (as doing no exercise prior to this) so now do zumba, a step class and have a personal training session each week.
First week lost 2lbs, 2nd week nothing - had one night off as camped out on the school field, this week 4 days in so far no loss either - did try my other set of scales and this did weigh lighter but who knows???
Mainly having one small slice of toast for breakfast or 28g of fruit and fibre, salad for lunch, fruit for snacking, dinner either salad again or meat and veg sometimes with syn free chips sometimes with eggs. Syns trying to aim for 10, so a small glass of wine or a 2 finger kit kat and a couple of jaffa cakes.
    Where am I going wrong?
NB Have a stone to lose to get to a healthy BMI.
    Cheers
    Macca

As you say you've started exercising for the first time I think your problem may be fluid retention. When you're new to exercise your muscles protect themselves from possible harm by surrounding themselves with extra water, this won't last long so you should see a loss after a week or two.

Don't forget to measure yourself as, especially with SW, inches tend to come off on weeks when there's no change on the scales.

The advise about weighing just once a week is sound - more than that and you're not going to get accurate readings anyway cos your weight fluctuates so many times a day.

Drink lots of water (and I mean lots) to help flush through toxins and make sure you're eating plenty of free and superfree foods. If you don't eat enough it won't work - honestly! :)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Tell me about it!! we buy quite a lot of Asda savers brand Digestive biscuits (NOT for us to eat......for our feathered friends that visit as they are parital to these & cheese lol) anyway - they have been 26p for ages, yesterday MrD went and bought 10 packs to stock the cupboard up and they had put them up to 50p!!!:mad: we've checked on 'my supermarket and they are still 26p in Sainsburys so I think we will have to be making an extra trip there in future:o

Our last consultant followed SW all through her pregnancy - with the blessing of her midwife, and had a lovely healthy baby boy & managed to lose her weight at the same time. There is also someone I know on the minims site who just had a baby last week who did SW all the way through (she actually went into labour at WI lol :rotfl:)
