Well done woot:T that's a start on getting back to your pre-wedding weight.

Yep - 9lbs gone in the three weeks since I've been back. Slower than I wanted and expected but I'll take it. Better coming off than going on!

    Hello everyone :)

I'd like to join in with this thread if that's ok :) I've been doing SW for about 11 weeks and have so far lost 7.5lbs (it was 9.5lbs until I put 2lbs on last week..) I've got another 1st 9lbs to lose to reach my target. I've totally been off track this week, but have put a food diary & pen on my chopping board for the morning. I think keeping a food diary keeps me more focused. Anyway, I wanted to join in with this thread because I find that I leave WI feeling positive but then after a few days I begin to fall into a rut, so reading/posting on here daily or every few days might help motivate me. I haven't read the whole thread yet as it's late but i'll catch up with it at some point :D

Welcome to the thread Nahnahnat & Zeon999, the more the merrier :D

You may be interested to know that there's a recipe thread here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/40936144#Comment_40936144 and a good source of info is the Minimins web-site here: http://www.minimins.com/slimming-world/ but don't defect to them and forget about us :D

Morning all. I had lost 1.5lbs last night which puts me back bang on my target weight! Very happy with that, I've been withing my target range for nearly 2 months now just varying around my target weight by a pound or 2 so hopefully I have the hang of this maintenance lark!!!

Regarding the quorn sausages, I haven't tried the new ones yet but I have a bag in the freezer. I have to say though, I might not bother in future seeing as I can get 'real' ones that are 1/2 a syn. Saying that though, quorn ones are cheaper than low syn meat ones!!

Tonight DH and I are having a 'date night'. We don't go out very often as he works shifts so we only get 2 weekends out of 5 together. We're going for a curry then to a nice bar for a drink. I'm at work in the morning so I'll drive and just have 1 V&T or maybe even just the T!!!

    Today's food is EE:

    Brekkie - banana, porridge (HEA&B)
Lunch - cajun spiced rice with beef and veggis in it, pineapple, grapes, cherries.
Tea - chicken curry of some kind, boiled rice (??? syns and I doubt I'l resist the popadoms too!!)

I'll be having my weekly visit to the market today to see what superfree bargains they have!

    Lost 4lbs tonight. Not bad!

I put on over Christmas - I slipped straight back into the groove of proper eating in January but it took a while for the weight that i'd put on to shift - so stick with it - you're doing well!

Toilet habits - Dizzy you suggested strawberries and my god they worked a treat. Now however I have gone completely the other way and have an explosion every morning and in such a desperate hurry too. Totally out of the blue, no warning, just an urgent need to go :o. But then I have IBS so its either one way or the other, no happy medium :(.

Anyone striking tomorrow? In norfolk the schools are closed for the Norfolk show so we aren't striking. Off out for buffet lunch tomorrow so having a day off :p.

My poor Mum [& sister/family] missed their flight to Lanzarote yesterday, they had been on the road since 5am and got stuck in traffic [flight was 8.30am] managed to get another flight from Luton [cost £100 pp & there was 10 of them ] she text me at 10.45pm to say they'd just got to hotel. She was so shattered, can't imagine how 3 toddlers coped with it all either. No doubt will hear all about when they get back. So glad I didn't go :D.

re the whole toilet thing - I have been known to resort to Regucol from Holland & Barrett when truely desperate. Its a powder you mix 2 teaspoons with a glass of water and drink it and follow it with another glass of water - the powder is made of Psyllium and absorbs the water and pushes stuff through your bowl....

It's NOT a laxative - NOT habit forming and can be used regularly....

AND IT IS SYN FREE ON ALL PLANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But you do have to drink the amount of water it says on the packet!

    Hope this helps.

The school I work in is closed, but we have to go in for an MSA meeting....sigh......

I'm feeling just a bit blue at the moment and can't work out why... I lost 3lb this week, was SOTW and got my 3.5 stone so i am over half way there! So why did it matter that the 2 people i sit with weren't there - I just can't work me out sometimes..... and it's not even * week!

Hi there have been lurking for a while hope you guys can help me out?
Started SW 3 weeks ago now on EE have stuck to it, and also have started going to the gym 3 times a week (as doing no exercise prior to this) so now do zumba, a step class and have a personal training session each week.
First week lost 2lbs, 2nd week nothing - had one night off as camped out on the school field, this week 4 days in so far no loss either - did try my other set of scales and this did weigh lighter but who knows???
Mainly having one small slice of toast for breakfast or 28g of fruit and fibre, salad for lunch, fruit for snacking, dinner either salad again or meat and veg sometimes with syn free chips sometimes with eggs. Syns trying to aim for 10, so a small glass of wine or a 2 finger kit kat and a couple of jaffa cakes.
    Where am I going wrong?
NB Have a stone to lose to get to a healthy BMI.
    Cheers

Your first mistake is weighing yourself so much!!! DO you go to class? if so gt someone to hide your home scales and just stick to getting weighed at class. Your weight fluctuates from day to day so getting weighed more than once a week is bound to show you fluctuating up and down.

Also, you're welcome to post your food diary on here each day so we can hopefully spot any slip-ups for you.

S: got an apple and orange if I need them
D: ?????? with veggies, got falafel burgers and quorn sausage in so will decide when I get in.
