A Slimmer Summer with Slimming World

Hi all, WI and another 3llb off this week. That is 8lb in 3 weeks.
I've been a bit embarrassed to write down what I am eating because I don't eat properly stuff like you all do - today is my treat day and I have a big bag of crisps and 2 bars of chocolate (ahem) - but it seems to work in with the rest of what I am doing. If I put on, then I don't have it. But I had pizza at the weekend, some chocolate ice cream every night which was way more syns than I thought and was a bit shocked, I should have checked them before eating it, but it is working.
But wow. Feeling quite pleased, I've only another 6lb and I've lost my 10%. I think it is cutting out bread and pasta that has done it to be honest.0 -
The other half is on slimming world and we both have the same evening meals so been looking around on the internet for some more recipes my favs are these ones so far.

Well done BM, I have read your other thread and you've had a lot on your plate!!
I don't understand why you're embarrassed about what you eat though? If its on-plan and working then it can't be that bad?0 -

This is the reply i got - very quick response - not good about the sausages but good about the mince & pieces!
Dear Nessie
Thank you for your recent contact regarding the new Quorn sausages.
We are aware that our sausages are now not syn free on the Slimming World food plan. Quorn sausages (250g packs) available in major retailers are, we believe, one syn now and the sausages (300g packs) available in Lidl and Farm Foods stores are 1/2 syn.
We have no plans to revert to the old sausage recipe. We apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause you.
The fat content in our Quorn sausages is significantly lower than the average meat sausage. (About 50% less fat.)
We wanted to make our new sausages as tasty as possible, whilst still being healthier than the meat versions. We found that slightly more fat in our sausages really added lots more flavour.
When we showed our new sausages to a wide variety of our current buyers, they were pleasantly surprised that such a great tasting sausages was still relatively low in fat vs. the meat ones.
There are no plans to alter the recipes of the Quorn Mince or Quorn Pieces at this time.
We hope this has answered your question.
Thank you once again for your enquiry and please do not hesitate to contact us again if you require any further information or advice.
Assuring you of our best attention at all times.
Yours sincerely
