    morning

didnt make my courgette and pepper pasta thingy in the end as i got caught in the train meltdown on southeastern network and got home late.
in the end i had 2 bacon and salad rolls!! and i must confess to them being fresh tiger bread baps and not wholemeal

    today i have;

b - fibre plus (heb), benecol drink (1.5), strawberries
l - ham salad, cheesecake muller (1), wotsits (4.5), satsumas

not sure about dinner. the courgettes were on the turn so i gave them to my sister for her guinea pigs lol.
i do have some nice fresh pork and leek burgers at home that i got from morrisons. not sure of the syns though

    Just caught up.

Since our little jaunt to Scotland, where we actually lost, we can't get back into it at all.

Had a bad weekend with the beer calling, which wasn't too bad as we were eating well.......until the chinese called.
Feel bad, but back on board today, and having caught up I find there's a lot of it about. It's amazing what a bit of sunshine vcan do isn't it.

Well done to any loosers & anyone like me who fell off...........never mind, it was worth it at the time!

As for Courgettes, our allotment always produces loads - it won't now of course!
Roast with garlic, onions, peppers etc.
Griddled & layered in a lassagna - makes the bolognaise go further.
In a tomato sauce with loads of garlic, mushrooms Etc poared over pasta.
  • having the day from hell, one mini roll already eaten and a packet of crisps about to join it. if hands are busy it will stop me from lashing out. one is it with this one man band rubish even when your married:mad:

Hi all, im on slimming world and just coming up to weigh in no 4 - my issue is that its soooo expensive - before i would eat/buy whatever was cheapest (apart from meat) and now im having to buy specific items in order to remain low in sins or free but still taste good. I am alone???
  • nope i'm the same, have started to get the fruit that's on offer but found they were only small punets. have now gone for melons and pinapple because they strtch over a few days. it's wrong that the rubbish is cheaper than the good stuff.

I am doing our raffle at SW whilst my regular consultant is away - any ideas on a theme - bearing in mind i only have £4.56 to spend!

Our raffle last week was a box of various speed veggies......nice & cheap and anyone who wins it (moi last week :j) will be very grateful I'm sure....you can print a couple of recipes off too maybe to give them some ideas what to do with it all.
