Thanks for the gravy info. blackberry-rum. I'll try pinging it next time.

I almost succumbed to carvery tonight. We were out until almost eight and DH suggested eating out instead. When we got there they had no working ovens so no meat, so we came home and I cooked our syn free dinner. Now I feel very virtuous. I saved myself the money, the wine I would probably have had, the roasties, cheese on cauli, butter in mash, yorkies and synful gravy!

Good luck everyone! New, shiny month!

HELLO ALL, Weighed in Wednesday and lost another 1/2 lb. Very slow at the moment but my own fault cos I have not stuck to the plan 100%. This week I am going to do better. I am also determined to get in that gym.

Welcome to all the newbies and well done to the losers. xx

Morning all. We had our takeaway curry last night and it was rubbish!!! So not worth the syns! One of the dishes we had was in a creamy coconutty sause so I just ate the chicken and left as much of the sauce as possible. And I managed to leave the naan bread alone too so It hopefully wasn't too bad.

I'm working at our local agricultural show all weekend and people bring us alsorts of yummy food so it'll be a rather flexi-syn weekend!!! We get lunch provided but last year it was lots of cold meats, salads, new potatoes etc so hopefully that bit won't be too bad!! I'm really looking forward to it actually, I can see the main ring from my little office so I can watch all the lovely horses!

Today will be Green (with an extra HEB as I'm maintaining!)

    Brekkie - banana, porridge (HEA&B),
    Snack - nectarine
Lunch - pea and ham soup (4), WM pitta (HEB), cherries
Tea - chicken (HEB), sw roasties, loads of veggies, gravy (3)
Will probably have some fruit and yogurt for pud.

    Morning all

I've only eaten strawberries and yoghurt so far today. Got tons more fruit in the fridge at work plus a cous cous salad so should all be free free free until later :-)

Thanks for the granola info. 6.5 syns much more manageable than 39!!! It is pretty nice too... think it will be a good one to use on low syn days when I am trying to avoid the junk food. It must be healthier than a chocolate bar!

Well WI last last resulted in a 0.5lb loss (and still no sign of the poo fairy:mad:) so I suppose I should be thankful I had a loss at all really :p)

Went back to the Hosp yesterday for them to look at my Op wound. & re dress it...Tis ever so sore at the moment with the infection :( but they managed to remove the stitches knots from under the skin in the 4 corners as they were 'pulling' and not dissolving properly, and re dressed the graft for another week. Can't believe that when I go back 3 weeks will have passed already - so I'm then only 9 weeks away from getting my 'magic ear' :T:D :j

Today I think I'm going to do a green day & get a big pan of Dyno Rod on the cooker, everything else has failed miserably to bring the poo fairies out of hibernation so its time to bring out Mr OLD FAITHFUL (regardless of the sunny weather :o)

    menu today

    B strawberries lots

    L DYNO ROD soup

    T DYNO ROD soup

S DYNO ROD soup...... see a theme here? :rotfl::rotfl:

HEBs ryvita & toffee oaty bar
HEAs milk for tea & mad cow xtra lights

Syns penguin wafer 4.5 white choc option 2

    Hi folks :)
I'm trying to day.......honest:o Finished yesterday on 12 syns - I had a really hungry day and did give in to a slice of white bread with my SW egg, chips and beans....I did have LF spread on it :D

Today wasn't good from the start  OH and I had a .......difference of opinion:mad: as I was leaving for work  roadworks:mad::mad::mad: then the guy on the gate was stroppy because I needed to get to the loading bay to pick something up 'you might block a delivery wagon in'.........I drive a bl**dy MIcra !!!!!!:mad:

Resisted the temptation to go for toast, then one of our lovely secretaries came in with doughnuts!!!!!!

I did have one (actually, it was very sweet but I forced myself to finish it :rotfl:)

Lunch - as I stormed out this morning leaving my lunch in the kitchen:( I had to buy some! Usual jacket and beans place is shut so I've had a grilled halloumi salad:drool::drool::drool:

I've got quorn sausage to use up for tea with SW chips I think and then I'm out tonight at a leaving do but I'm going to drive and stick to slimline tonic :A I don't think I'll be tempted by the buffet as the last time we went to that pub there was absolutely NOTHING veggie!!

    Damage limitation today methinks:rotfl:

WI tomorrow then I'm off on me jollies :dance: for a week :T:T

Dizzy - hope the poo fairies arrive for you :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Dried apricots are guaranteed to work for me :)

That sounds really sore dizzy (and I'm not talking about your nether regions:rotfl:) but it's going to be worth it in the end.

So far today I've only had 2 boiled eggs and a slice of toast, so need to redress balance with plenty of superfrees for the rest of the day. I've done my mealplan for the week and after lunch I'll be off to Asda.

    Plan, so far is:

B: NAS squash, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk in teas
    L: salad sandwich, melon
D: chicken casserole ( inc. leeks, onions, celery, courgettes, carrots, mushrooms, butter beans) with SW roasties.

Syns and Snacks: wine syns 'cos it's Friday:j and if I need a snack it'll be fruit or maybe iced Muller if I buy any.
