I'm off on holiday on Tuesday until the 7th. Dominican Republic :)

However it's all inclusive and as much as I say now that I'll behave it just wouldn't be in the spirit of a holiday! :rotfl: I think I'll make better choices than I would have done before SW but I doubt I'll manage to stick to it while there... all those cocktails... mmm.

    Morning!
I managed to round off yesterday with 12 syns, 2Bs and 1A, so that was good!
Today will be green as usual:
granola, yog, strawberries (6 syns, although it wasn't as exciting as having the granola was last week when I was craving it, so I'll finish the box and stick to oats or pudding rice with my fruit and yog. I've allowed DS access to the granola now so it won't last long!)
ryvita and cheese (or maybe pagens) for lunch (A + B)
Huge jacket potatoe with cottage cheese and salad for dinner (although thisis a bit boring, it's one of my favourites!)
And I've got loads of fruit in for snacks.

I HAVE to keep to my budget this month as it's DS's birthday and i've also been presented with a long list of uniform etc that he needs for secondary school in September, so will have to try and keep the fruit consumption under control.

Enjoy the sunshine, now that it's finally arrived. I've got my third load of washing on aalready, I'd been waiting for the sunny day to be able to get it all dry!

I'm quite jealous! I'm in a flat with no garden. I miss the smell of outside dried clothes!

Holidays are MEANT to be enjoyed, as much as we love eating healthily why pay all that money and then NOT sample all the goodies on offer? Have a great time and just get back on the tank when you get back.

Think I'm gonna go murder someone, my neighbour has been revving the guts out of his !!!!!!! strimmer for the last 2.5 hours. Its Sunday !!!!!! a day of rest for most of us . Thing is with him is he doesn't work so has Mon - Fri to throttle his bloody strimmer. I can't hear Something for the Weekend now :mad::mad:.

And Breath . . . . . Ok WI this morning and another half lb off, am out for buffet lunch on Thursday with our wonderful retiring head [shes paying for us all ] as its an inset day for the Norfolk show. So am anticipating NO LOSS next week [fingers crossed - can't believe I'm crossing my fingers to NOT lose weight :rotfl:].

If I lose another .5lb I'll be the lightest I've been since I was a child .

Enjoy your HOT Sunday, I'm roasting here and thats not my lunch :rotfl:.

Can anyone confirm this? I am sure I was told when I joined SW that when I reach my target, I wont have to pay any more ( unless I then go over my target) However, I cant find this in my literature. I (think) I will reach my target this week (1 1/2 st) so am now hoping to save money but I havn't quite reached my 25 BMI so intend to carry on. However, if I reset my target, would that mean that I have to carry on paying until I reach my new target? I'm confused.

When you reach target you don't pay unless you go under or over by 3lb. If you reset your target it has to be by at least 7lb then you would have to pay again until you reach new target.

Thats my understanding unless things have changed as I haven't been to class for a few years.

You do not pay when at target as long as you are within three pounds either side of your target weight. if however you choose to reset your target you would start paying again until you reach it.
  • Hi everyone,

Just found out that Oatibix biscuits can only be used as a HEB if you syn them by 3! Gutted! Have been having them most days, but not been using all my syns anyway so don't think can have made that much difference to my weight loss. But will make sure I syn them properly from now on!

    Today so far (green):
B: Toast (B), Scrambled Egg (A), Bkd Beans
L: LO quorn veggie chilli and rice, yoghurt, strawberries, raspberries
Not sure what to have later! Have a friend coming over so think I will use up a few syns then!

Hope everyone's enjoying the sun xxx

Thanks for the info about targets Circes and TIE. When I've got back to pre-holiday weight, I'll be close to mine but I'm seriously thinking about going for another 7lbs. I found that my size 14 holiday clothes were fine but 12s were a bit tight and uncomfortable after a meal so that's why I'd like to lose a bit more.

Up to now I've managed to lose the weight without getting a gaunt face or scrawny neck (well, no more than usual;)). If that happened I'd want to stop losing. Can you change your mind if the new target doesn't seem right?

    My EE plan for today:

B: NAS squash, HEB porage, banana and HEA milk with teas
L: JP with cottage cheese and beetroot
D: pork, SW roasties, cabbage, carrots, gravy
Syns: wine and gravy (and maybe the weeniest chew on a bit of crackling:o)
