Continuing with my plan to keep track of the week on here:

    Mon = 2HEa, 1.5HEb, 5 syns (exercise = 1 hour bootcamp class)
Tues = 2HEa, 2 HEb, 10 syns (exercise = 1 hour cycling, approx... we did end up in the pub!)
    Weds = 2HEa, 2HEb, 8 syns (no exercise)

    Yesterday was green:

B: all bran with milk (HEa and HEb)
    S: 2xalpen light (HEb)
L: wm pasta with leeks, courgette, FF fromage frais and parmesan (0.5HEa) - this was amazing, a new favourite!
D: AH cous cous (1) with tomatoes, sugar snap peas, cucumber, tablespoon apple sauce (2). Cherries.

So, 1.5HEa, 2 HEb and 3 syns. Exercise = 1 hour running club.

    Today is green again:

B: banana and blueberries with FF yoghurt. Few cherries.
L: tesco tuna & veg sushi (1.5), 3 ryvita (HEb) with 30g philly (0.5HEa). FF activia yoghurt.
D: will be wm pasta with leeks, courgette, FF fromage frais and parmesan (0.5HEa).
S: will be used later, got another HEb to use, plus approx 5 syns.

Annie and Lilochops :grouphug:keep at it! I'm a really slow loser, it took me a year to lose a stone  and I often go 2 or 3 weeks losing nothing .....:( but I have lost inches! :jToday I'm wearing a pair of cut-offs that I bought 3 years ago and haven't been able to get on since :D so it does work!!

Well, yesterday I had 20 syns  due to getting mixed up with my HEb's and eating a Nature's something cereal bar (which was yummy!) that was handed out as a freebie in Asda :( It turned out to be 9.5 syns:mad::mad::mad:
*note to self, check syns BEFORE eating*

Today is a hotchpotch due to stuff going out of date coz OH hasn't eaten it for his lunches as he's had chippy every day

B: Quorn bacon and egg toastie (HEb + 1 for ketchup)
    S: Banana
L: Jacket spud, salad, hummus (HEb + 1.5)

On training :(most of the afternoon so I've got loads of fruit in my bag to help with the boredom nibbles

D: Meeting OH at Ikea so we'll have tea there, I'll probably have to have the pasta with tomato sauce as they don't have much veggie stuff so I'll count 3 syns for any stray oil.
Might have a glass of wine later as it's weekend :D

Well done to the losers :T:T:T

    Good Morning Folks
The sun is shining - BUT I AM NOT.
This morning was WI morning - duly stood on scales - and for the 3rd week running since I started this, I have stayed the same - no loss, no gain, big fat blinking nada. I know this plan seems to work for all you guys, but I am beginning to doubt if it will have any effect on me whatsoever - I know that I am eating more healthily - and I do feel better, but I so would have loved to have lost SOMETHING. Admittedly I didn't measure myself - so maybe I have lost inches? I think I am just fooling myself though. I have mixed things up with the plan - EE, green days and red days - still nothing - and my plans look grand…….and I have been very good with my syns - even small changes I have made should have made a difference in my opinion - when I would have scoffed humungous bag of crisps (meant for sharing but I never did) with a bottle of wine, I had a 28g bag of baked crisps with two glasses of wine. Plus, my ahem, bathroom habits have increased - I should have lost some weight for the exercise in running to the loos here in work at the very least - up and down two flights of stairs………..Anyway - I have decided to give it another two weeks and then I will revisit - so you are stuck with me for a bit……I guess Annie, Bikini-Body and myself all feel the same at the moment :(

    Today's plan is as follows:
B Magic porridge (muller light, oats and blackberries)
    S Strawberries
L Scrambled eggs, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes
S More berries !! And grapes
D No idea yet - chicken, passata, tomatoes, muchrooms, courgettes, onions, garlic, peppers and pasta seem to be calling me.

Syns - will be limited amount of wine and a small bag of baked crisps - tis the weekend after all…...

Hmm, this seems a bit strange to me! Your menu looks fine, other than there being no HEA like someone else said and the wine syns issue but if you measure out a set amount thats within syns you should be ok. Just a thought.....do you have electronic scales? A few years ago my mum had a set that weighed you the same as the last person that stood on them!! I have a set now that work fine but it might be worh getting someone else to try them and see what happens. Might also be worth calling at Boots or somewhere today to use their scales then do the same again next week to see how they compare with your scales.

    Good afternoon Campers :)

Hope everyone is ok? I've just got out of my pit :o I had a bit of a funny old nights sleep last night - so took advantage of a lay in.

I'm sat looking at a big box of veggies that I won at last nights SW raffle & wondering what to do with them all
So far I have managed to prep a big pan Of brocoli & courgette soup which was really flippin nice when its been blitzed down, I think carrot & corriander might be on the menu over the weekend too....but then I dont know what to do with the rest yet? freezer space is very limited too:(

    sweetheart cabbage
    red/normal onions
    potatoes
    celery
    1green/1orange/1red pepper
    more carrots

Today I'm on a Red day again (yesterday ended up being green)

B ham & cottage cheese omlette, strawbs

L brocolli & courgette soup (2 bowls as it was very yummy)

T ? prob an asda spicy chicken breast, WM pitta, lettuce, yog/mint sauce more strawbs/satsumas yog.

    HEB2 toffee oaty bar

    Syns

    penguin wafer 4.5

sainsbury 1 syn low alch lager
    choc options 2 = 7.5
  • Hi All,

I'm back again, school has been mad over the last couple of weeks - the kids have all finished their end of year exams so are now not that enthusiastic about being in class and actually learning anything 'what's the point? I've already done my exam!' :wall:

I've managed to lose 7lbs over the last 13 days, and that includes 2 big nights out (I stopped counting syns after my 4th Malibu and diet coke!). I've been pretty good with what I've been eating though and my new mantra for the staff room is 'nothing tastes as good as being skinny thin feels'. It's proving useful as all the boxes of sweets and biscuits keep appearing every single day:eek: I'm at the point in the month where I have to run in, pick up my paperwork and run out again, otherwise I'll end up sitting on the table surrounded by empty boxes of chocolates. I get a little :EasterBun otherwise :o
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you.:p

Back on the Slimming World wagon...

Not posted my meals the last couple days.

    Today was

B: Weetabix, skimmed milk & an apple
L: Left over noodles with soy sauce and random veg, an apple and an orange
D: Mixed grill with gammon, steak, pork chop, chicken breast and sausages (3 syns) with homemade peppercorn sauce.
S: Apple, hot chocolate (not sure on syns for this one but OH brought me it)

Could have done better with dinner but to be honest I've been in one of those moods where I want comfort food full of syns so I'm pleased with how today went in the end ;)

    Hello all,

Had weigh in on Wednesday evening and even after my all inclusive fabulous holiday and meals out with friends I still managed to lose 1/2 lb. Heaven knows how but I was really pleased.

Thanks for the soup recipe DIZZY - gonna do that tomorrow, sounds great. Glad your check up went well and that you've sorted out your pillows so you can get a bit of shut eye.

WOOTBALL - you have done really well and I know exactly how you feel about packing it all in. I think a lot of folk on here can identify with how you feel (or have felt like you do at some time or other), I certainly can. Like someone else said think how thrilled you were as your wedding got nearer and your weight was going down. I think if you stick around on here for encouragement and stay on the plan (even very loosely) the enthusiasm will come back and you'll be back on track.

I am one of the non-sleepers amongst us. Funny but while I was on holiday and then stayed for a few days with friends I slept all through the night - what's all that about? Needless to say that now I'm home I'm up in the night every night, it's a pain in the a--- !!!

Have a good weekend everyone. xx

    Morning
Thanks for your words of support. I did check that I was measuring everything properly, toast was 2 slices from a 400g loaf, all the fruit was fresh and I had dark rye ryvita which are 4 for a b. Hey ho, I'll keep at it and see what happens nest week.
So yesterday turned into a massive binge, I won't go into detail about what I ate as it makes me shudder to think about it, but I will say that for the first time since I started thinking about what I eat and therefore eating healthy food, the day I went off piste I had a massive drop in my blood sugar when I was coming home from work and nearly collapsed. This only happens when I eat rubbish and it was really unpleasant, so healthy wholefood for me from now on, lesson well and truly learnt.
So, back on the tank today with a green one:
    oats, berries, yog (B)
JP and cottage cheese, or maybe beans, but something free
Cannelloni from the SW website (my son's current favourite dinner!)
And will be going to the shop for lots of fruit for snacks.

Dizzy....I read your list of veg and immediately thought 'bubble and squeak'

WI this morning and STS, I'm sure I would have lost if it hadn't been for yesterday, but as I said, lesson learnt and onwards and upwards!!

    Have a lovely day everyone!
