    Evening all
I'm feeling a bit flat today, because I'm feeling a bit fat today! I've eaten really well fro the last 2 weeks, last WI (Sat) I lost what I'd out on during my trip to Singapore but I really don't think I'm going to have lost anything this week despite not doing anything I shouldn't, and I'm starting to think that SW just isn't going to work for me. I know deep down that there's no reason why it shouldn't, but am starting to get despondent. Will see what happens on sat but if it's not good news I think I'll give it one more week and then rethink, if I'm not going to lose weight I may as well just go back to the cakes.
Anyway, I think today was ok, but if anyone sees anything that makes them think 'what on earth are you eating that for?', please tell me!
    Green day:
    scrambled eggs on toast (B)
2 apples, 3 apricots, a banana, some cherries and some strawberries (spread out through the day)
    4 ryvita and 3 babybel lights (a plus b)
    salad
    watermelon
and dinner was pasta with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Completely devoid of nutrients but I wanted rubbish so thought I'd have syn free rubbish rather than going to the shop and getting biscuits, which to be honest I'm still very tempted to do.
Oh, and I had a wispa at work cos I was having a mega stressful day - 11 syns.
So I've had 2 Bs, one A and 11 syns.

Going to sulk and feel sorry for myself now!!

  • hi everyone

had a pretty good GREEN day :j:

    B'fast-Oatibix and Milk (B & A)
    Banana
    Lunch-Couscous, kidney beans, butter beans
    Muller light
    Strawberries, raspberries
Dinner-Polenta, 3 quorn sausages, roasted aubergine, courgette, pepper, onion
Low fat nat yoghurt and strawberries
    2 x Alpen light (B)

hoping for a loss when I weigh myself tomorrow! Like lilo-chops, I've stayed the same since I started a couple of weeks ago :(but not tempted to jack it all in yet as am enjoying the healthiness! :)
Those people are killjoys!! I have to admit that I try not to use my syns so I have them if I really need something, I probably have up to 5 a day, so I can probably get away with it anyway. I've still been losing.

Re: Bulimia. Do people do that then? :o

Blue_monkey - you really don't want to go down the 'spitting it out' road - I used to work in an eating disorders unit and there were some patients who had bulimia and spat out their food after chewing! Better to just use it as syns i think!

WI tonight and I lost 1lb. I've not been eating a lot the last couple of days. Not sure if I'm coming down with the bug that DS had, and that DH has now, or if I'm just knackered. I slept on the sofa last night cos I didn't want to catch it, I had his phone as I had to call his work, and the silly b*gger had left his alarm on, so I was rudely awakened at 5.30 this morning :(

    EE today

    B: banana, alpen light (.5HEB)
S: velvet crunch (4), satsuma, light hot chocolat (2)
L: co-op healthy chicken pasta salad (3), alpen light (.5 HEB) grapes
S: satsuma, some nibbles at group (2)
D: jacket potato, cheese (HEA), baked beans, ham, salad
May have a skinny cow lolly later, not sure yet.

Looking after 2 extra kids til 9...can't wait til they go, so I can get my sofa/bed back.

Not at all amused! We made Chicken Chow Mein yesterday as per a recipe on Minimins, apparently the noodles would be 2.5syns per serving. I've just found out from the syn calculator that I actually had 18 syns just on noodles yesterday! And I have just had another 12 today in soy sauce!

    Quite upset by this :(

Okay I just don't get this. I put in the nutritional info and it comes up 11.5 syns per noodles nest for Green/EE and 12 syns for Red. Yet in the green free foods option there is "Egg Noodles".

  • drea - were you noodles fresh or dry? cos i think the dry ones are free (as in come in packet and boil them) whereas the fresh ones are not..?

The plain dried noodles are free but not fresh ones and not the 'supernoodle' type things. Normal Soy sauce is free too.

They were Sainsburys dry ones. I'm just totally confused with the contradicting information from that website. The thing is a shambles and I have the pleasure of paying £60 for it.

I have decided that as they say egg noodles are free then they are free. Sorry for the tantrum ;)
