Reading through all the posts - tis amazing how many people (including me) have sleep issues. Nothing worse than the cycle of not sleeping at night, shattered during the day........
Also - Woot and Lisa, I hope post wedding blues subside and that normal SW service resumes...
Haven't weighed myself yet - tomorrow - resisting the temptation to have a peek - after the last two weeks of being on this plan, and staying the same, I'll be very cross if nowt happens - however, because I am eating a lot more healthily, I feel better for it - so I guess that has to count for something.
The plan for today is:
B Magic porridge - oats, muller light and blackberries - can't thank Nessie enough for this recommendation - yum
S Apple
L Soup concoction - made from all leftover veg in house, with tinned tomatoes, stock, lentils and tin of baked beans for good measure - here's hoping for a dynorod effect!
S Blackberries and grapes
D Will be coucous, bacon, remainder of veg not thrown in lunch soup - strange dinner I know, but I hate wasteage
Might have ryvitas to stave off evening munchies
Having milk for usual coffee addictions............
Still not confident about my menus - can one of you lovely losers scan a beady eye over..........0 -

Your menu looks fine to me. Will the ryvitasbe your syns? You need to make sure you have some syns.
I just got 2 pineapples for £1, a melon for £1, 2 punnets of strawbs for £2 and 2lb of cherry toms for £1 all from the local market. No grapefruit on the market at the minute though. I also got some chicken fillets and some lovely looking lamb leg steak which will make a nice meal next week. I do love the market!!

Yes, Lisa - ryvita will be my syns - might even have a baby glass of wine - tis nearly the weekend after all............
Have also started to buy food at market - was getting fed up of buying fruit and veg in Mr T and it either being rotten or not lasting a tap...............so although it seems dearer at market, it's really not, given what I was having to bin....0 -

:D:rotfl:
Sports day out of the way and the rain held off until we were going back to class :j. Also had new intake this arvo and one of the new Mums I knew from the early days at SW class, she commented "You're still doing SW then, you're even slimmer now than you were then". I then went on to slightly offend her [so not intentionally] by saying the reason she was having trouble was due to the fact she'd had too many children . It came out so wrong and she got a bit defencive but honestly I only ment each time she got anywhere with weight loss she then fell pregnant so had to start again if you see what I mean. Oh God I wish I'd kept my mouth shut. Not a good start for the new year come September :rotfl:.
:T:T:rotfl::rotfl: Love it:A x x
Sounds exactly like something I'd say, I do suffer with that foot in mouth disease!!!

or sound completely unfunny [even to me] I then think why the hell did I just say that :rotfl:. My aim now is to think before I open my gob and say to myself Do You REALLY Want To Say THAT???? :rotfl:
:eek: Ooooh no!!!! please don't change:p- reading these posts today from you has been the best medicine I've had all week :rotfl::rotfl::A Craaaazy ladyx x x

Afternoon my lovelies
Hope everyone has been behaving in my absence? (do pigs really fly?:rotfl:)
I had a better nights sleep last night, MrD asked his mum to go get me one of those big V shaped pillows and it was fabI managed to get it so I had my left shoulder down the 'hollow' and no rolling over pressing onto the graft site....wish we had thought of it when I had my last Op instead of faffing with arranging the pillows:o
Went to see the surgeon today for the 1st dressing removal & change _pale_ Big stoooopid dizzy went all faint cos it hurt quite a bit where it was stuck (such a wuss after all the other Ops I've had too!! lol) BUT they say it looks LOVELY (:whistle:not sure if thats the word I'd choose to describe it from the piccys that MrD took:eek:) So its all going good & Its re dressed now for another week with another big plastic 'cap' over the titatanium bolt/presstud type thing on my skull to protect it.
We called into MrM on the way home for a few essentials.....got a few stares from folk as I wobbled along in mahoosive bandage and crutches lol, and I did get dragged towards the fresh cream cake stand by the fairies (just to get me through the pain of the hosp visit):o But MrD reminded me how much I'd be whingeing after I'd eaten the offending item.....AND it IS WI day tonight! - I did'nt know whether to kiss or kick him :rotfl::A
anyway......I didn't buy a cream bun - so kiss my aris fairies !!!:T:j0 -
On my phone at the moment so no decent access to SW site. Can someone tell me the syns for Tesco light choices slices of packed ham?
ThanksJust because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
Well done on resisting Dizzy! Glad to hear you're feeling better.
I'm a non-sleeper too - last night I managed 11.30ish to 3.30am and that was it! Lots going on at work (possible promotion on the cards and I'm not sure whether to put myself on the chopping block for it) and OH situation is still strained to say the least (he, however, appears oblivious).
On the food front I've been good today too (3 in a row!)...
Breakfast - Fibreplus bar (B choice)
Mid morning - banana
Lunch - reduced fat houmous (B choice), mini breadsticks (4 syns), 3 LC extra lights, 1 babybel (A choice), grapes, 2 satsumas
Tea - probably jacket spud, beans and cheese (A choice) - can't be bothered with much else
Extras - 2 chocolate fingers (how much restraint?) 3 syns
So that's 2 B's, 2 A's and 7 syns so far
Will have a lolly or mullerlight later0 -
