    Fail week - it's not if I've lost or not, it's how much has gone on.

    Fed up with SW to be honest, don't feel as though my consultant's heart is still in it and struggling to keep the motivation going now my wedding is out of the way.
    Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

    WI last night - I lost half a pound - given I ate an enormous box of chips in London I am happy with that - there was also some naughty nibbling at the end of last week......

    today will be EE as ever - just need to decide on our evening meal.......

    We have an e-mail confirming we have tickets for the greatest event on earth - the Olympics - quite a lot of hype for 5 tickets at £20 each for the handball......

  • Morning all

    Well I had a sneaky weigh in this morning... 1lb heavier than Sunday. Aaaaagh. I really seem to have hit a plateau, couple of pounds up and down but no real movement. SO annoying.

    I am going to try keep a running track on my food diary posts so at the end of the week I can maybe see where things have gone wrong.

    So:

    Mon = 2HEa, 1.5HEb, 5 syns
    Tues = 2HEa, 2 HEb, 10 syns

    Weds, green day or maybe EE, depends how dinner turns out:

    B: weetabix (HEb) with milk (HEa)
    S: cherries
    L: jacket potato with cheese (HEa) and salad
    S: banana and FF yoghurt
    D: Tesco tuna and veg sushi (1) ?

    I will be rushing around after work so not sure what I'll have time to eat. Ideally need to avoid having fish and chips when get to destination which is what everyone else will be doing!

    Oh you've done so well, I think its normal to have a bit of a bumpy return to reality after the highs of wedding and honeymoon etc. Try not to go toooo far off the rails and then when you're ready to come back properly it won't be such a mountain to climb! :p

    Oh No!!! Try not to feel like that! Although the wedding is out of the way, there will be something else to motivate you - you have come so far and achieved so much to go back to where you were!

    This sounds rich coming from a newbie like me, I know. My life is hectic - work full time, got a family, nursed my Mum through cancer, and since she passed have assumed caring role of Dad - however, I know that if I don't look after myself, then everything and everyone else falls apart. Not being big-headed, just realistic!

    Although the goal of the wedding has passed, there are other goals - don't mean to pry in your life, but do you have kids, or do you plan on having kids - if so, they need healthy parents. I have been eating quite healthily lately and feel great - more energy to do stuff with the kids - we have cycled and hiked as a family and we've had surfing lessons recently - what a laugh we have all had together - and the change in lifestyle has helped us achieve that.

    You should be so proud of yourself - this is just a blip - dust yourself down, pick yourself up, and just remember how well you looked in your wedding photos and how much better you feel.

    Your weight loss, along with Mrs M, is an inspiration to many folk who lurk behind or contribute on this thread.

    Chin up :)

    Well done to the losers amongst us :T Hugs to anyone needing them (remember the tank is always available even if I'm not fit to drive it ;))

    I had a pretty ropey nights sleep last night - not suprising really seeing as I spent most of the day asleep :eek::rotfl:so I was awake most of the night watching random rubbish on the telly ........and when I finally did get to sleep I slept through until after lunchtime:o

    I DID however resist the *week food fairies :T and my cravings were satisfied with a pagen crisproll, tspn of butter & tspn blackcurrant jam - omnomnom :D:A so I was mightily chuffed with my poorly headed self last night :p

    Today is another Red day (still neeeding the 2 HEBs)

    B strawbs & yog HEA milk

    L ham, cottage cheese, lettuce tom satumas strawbs grapes HEB toffee oaty bar

    T asda spicy chicken, lettuce HEB pitta yog/mint sauce strawbs & yog

    Syns 3.5 toffee oaty bar 2 white choc option
