    Morning all

Right, I have decided to pre-empt the * week fairies which I expect will be attacking me by next WI (sunday) and try a couple of new tactics this week. I want to switch my HEB and syn choices to something more like MrsM has... more natural foods, rather than thinking I can eat a packet of crisps everyday... it might be sticking to the plan but I dont think its that healthy IYSWIM. I need to look on the website tonight for ideas. I am also going to stick to 8 syns or less per day and see how that helps.

So yesterday looked like this in the end:

    Red day

Weetabix and milk (HEb and HEa), rest of HEa in teas.
    Alpen light bar (0.5 HEb)
    Raspberries
Greek salad in the pub = free salad leaves etc, black olives (1), feta cheese (HEa), balsamic dressing (3), diet coke.
    Strawberries and FF yoghurt
Tesco chicken and bacon simply cook thing (1) with big pile of free salad
    Pear
    Water

    Total - 1.5HEb, 2 HEa, 5 syns

    Today is GREEN:

B: weetabix and milk (HEb and 0.5HEa), rest of HEa in teas, strawberries, apple
L: AH cous cous (1) with tomatoes and sugar snap peas. 3 ryvita (HEb) with 30g pot of philly light (0.5HEa)
6pm: french fries (4), all bran with milk (4 plus HEa)
9pm: Batchelors cheesy leek pasta (1)

Updated after dinner - So thats 10 syns plus 2 HEbs and 2 HEas - more than I was expecting but the pre-dinner snacks were to sustain me on a bike ride before dinner. Probably should have chosen more wisely but didnt really have time to cook anything.

    Afternoon All
It's like a grim autumn day here - you wouldn't think it's summer solstice - depressing or what.....

Anyway, I had a good day yesterday food wise, anyway - work was a different story......

    Today's plan is as follows:

B Magic porridge with cherries (no berries, for a change!!!)
    S Alpen Lite Bar
L Couscous, lettuce, tomatoes - small dollop of coleslaw, 2 x ryvita, follwed by obligatory portion of yip - berries!
D Will be pasta, tomato and veg concoction

    Milk for coffees

My menu today looks like a green kindofa day? Have taken advice from you lovely folk as I haven't seen much in the way of a loss, so have decided to mix it up a bit - does this look OK, or does it look rubbish?????

    Afternoon All,

    I have been a bad Nessie! vahidrk.gif

Had a weekend totally off plan, i couldn't resist my nanas homemade bakewells & birthday cake - she made a double one for me and my brother which was lovely (will try post pic later!)

I spent most of Saturday baking with my brother for cakes to take into work today for my birthday (as well as twinks hobnobs - which the recipe made 62 of them!), but you HAVE to taste the batter for quality control! 25r30wi.gif

Needless to say i put on 3.5lbs last night at WI :o

Not hoping for much this week aswell - going out thurs, fri lunch, fri night, BBQ sat & if the guys at work don't eat all the cakes i will end up taking them home & eating the rest!

Hey ho - i know what to do the following week!

Well i will be MIA until monday anyway - taking rest of week off from work, just to relax and read books on my new Kindle!

WELL DONE to everyone else x

Thats a great result for your second week :j Keep focussing on the end goal.. by quitting smoking and losing weight you are exerting such a positive control over your life. Even when other stresses get in the way you then have your strength to fall back on - and you know that if you can do it in the tough times then things should only get easier!

Thank you for those words. have given myself a good kick up the backside and am looking at what I have achieved rather than what would make me temporarily happy (for all of 2 mins until I realise what I have done by sparking up).
So onwards and upwards and if I get a craving will just go out and buy me pressies. lol

Those cakes look lovely. nom nom

    Afternoon all!

I'm afraid I succumbed to biscuits today - naughty teacher!
Other food has been OK-ish though so back on the wagon tomorrow (again!)....

Will be better tomorrow - promise

    And I have been!:T

Today has been a biscuit free zone:rotfl:
Not going to WI tonight but have done my own at home (scales are the same) and have stayed the same since last week (miraculously) which is good as I am attempting to maintain these days.

I have had another green day....(as always)....

Breakfast - Fibreplus bar (B choice)
    Mid morning - banana
Lunch - 3 falafel (3 syns), salad, cheese (A choice), reduced fat houmous (B choice), mini breadsticks (4 syns), grapes, 2 satsumas
Tea - cheese and potato pie (A choice) and beans
Evening - mullerlight and fruit of some description

    So that's 2 B choices, 2 A choices, 7 syns (I think) so far.....
Hopefully back in the swing of things now....

Nessie - cakes look yum, I wouldn't be able to resist either!

    Green day for me:

B - shreddies (HEB), skimmed milk (HEA)
    L - couscous, salad
D - veggie spag bol, spaghetti, cheese (HEA)
Snacks - raspberries, cherries, banana, HM WM bread (HEB)
Drinks - coffee, fruit tea, water, squash, fizzy water.

    Total syns = 0

I'm trying to have low/no syns this week as I have a work event on Thurs where I can't control what I eat for lunch, out Fri night for food, and I'm away Sat to Mon in London!

Oats, berries, yog and a spoonful of sesame seeds (1.5 B)
    fruit
    3x babybel (A)
bulgar wheat, chick peas, tomatoes and cucumber
    banana 2 ryvitas (0.5 B)
and then 2 mini muffins and half a piece of chocolate tiffin (lets say 20 syns)
sweet potato, kale, carrots and broccoli - was going to have quorn sausages too but couldn't be bothered to cook them.

Off to an induction evening at the secondary school that DS will be starting on September. I don't want him to go but I know he's got to, I'm so sad that my baby is growing up :0(

Will make up for the extra syns tomorrow by having no more than 10.

Have a nice eveing all - I hope some of you get to enjoy the long evening. It's certainly been a long day for me, but that's because of work, nothing to do with the seasons!!
