Had to go out with work today so didn't have much choice for lunch. Found a nice little cafe but they'd run out of wm bread. Out again tomorrow at a different clients, and the nearest thing to them is a greggs

    EE today

B: mullerlight, banana, tea with milk (HEA)
L: sweet chilli chicken & salad in chilli mayo in a wrap (say 10 syns)
D: sw lasagne, salad, hi-fi bar (HEB)

Not eaten an awful lot today, but DS7 was throwing up all last night, so really haven't felt all that hungry today _pale_

L: Salad (tomato, lettuce, cucumber) with honey mustard dressing (1 syn) and FF natural yoghurt with raspberries
D: Quorn lasagna (1 syn), 1 slice nimble bread (1/2 heb) and salad with honey mustard dressing (1 syn)

    hi all

Going to join ya, Having given up smoking i am putting on weight each week and need to sort it out after years of deiting im a size 12 and said once i got to that i would give up the fags. Im borded of the other diet i was on so thought i would give this one a go.

Brought mag and have barrowed a book from friend so todays the day!,

b 30g sugarpuffs with semi milk

L 2 muller yogarts and an apple

    d beans on toast

Landybabe, welcome. Have you read the first post on this thread, that sets out the healthy eating way of Slimming World? I ask because what you have listed above doesn't seem to fit the criteria very well :(
*Sugar puffs have to be synned, 5.5 syns for 28g so your 30g is probably 6 syns. Nothing in your breakfast is superfree (fruit or vegetable) and one-third of each meal should be superfree.
*Did you measure your semiskimmed milk? You can have/should have 250ml a day, but that includes what you use in tea or coffee as well as on your cereal. This is your healthy extra A choice.
*2 muller yoghurts and an apple is not much for lunch, especially as your dinner is also tiny. On the plus side, I guess an apple would count as 1/3 of your lunch :D
*Beans on toast - the toast should be wholemeal, 57g in total or 2 slices of a 400g loaf/1 slice of a 800g loaf. This counts as your healthy extra B choice.
You must have been hungry during the day and you should not be hungry. Please eat more fruit and lots more vegetables (baked beans don't count as vegetables).

Ideally I suggest you go to a class for just one visit, so you can hear from the consultant exactly how slimming world works. Please don't mind me pointing this out to you.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

I expect that fruit is just fermenting away in there TIE, and you'll have a lovely big ...erm... dynorod moment tomorrow :)

right, off to struggle with the website and enter this week's weight loss. I only enter if it's a loss, so it looks as if I've stayed the same for weeks :) I can't stand the patronising message it sends me if I have a teensy gain.

Just been for WI and lost 1.5lbs - I am pleased with that.

What I realise about this is that I am now concious of what I am eating. We went to the Harvester on Friday and I filled up on salad and when the meal came I just picked at the (grilled) chicken and the potatoes. I only had one bread roll whereas usually I would have a couple. Saturday we had a take away because it was Fathers Day (my husband finds any excuse) and I had chow mein, shop suey and some rice. I had a few pieces of sweets & sour battered chicken but I was concious of how much of that I was eating and eat more of the food with veg in.

It has taken me a while to get my head around but I am getting there. :)

However, I am about to go to the PO and get myself a chocolate bar and crisps as a treat. :D

PS. I have an online business and am usually inundated with spam but I've not even had any Spam. It is very quiet - you start to worry when even the spammers are not spamming!! Bit like picking up the phone when you are waiting for a call to make sure it is still working (we have all done it, go on, admit it!!)

    Hey all

Where are you all hiding today?

I suffer most days in work with rumbling and rolling noises and wind pains. Its not to bad when I am home because I don't have to hold any windy pop's in  but I can't exactly let these just go in work hahaha by the end of the day, I have trapped wind and spend the evening trying to untrap it. If anyone has any tips of secretly letting wind go, please share :D

Well I am happy today, its official WI, and since last wed I have lost 3lb. So I am now 10st 11 and my size 14 trousers and jeans are now starting to feel to lose. I spent yesterday pulling up my work trousers, the same ones that split a few months back when I crouched down. I remember someone on here commenting saying soon enough they will be too big, and I though nahhhh that won't happen, well you were right, they are now to big!! Costing a fortune losing weight with new clothes, but boy does it feel good. I have now decided I want to go down to 10st 8, that will be 2 stone loss, then I will stop!
