    Good morning all
Sorry for being MIA -reporting back for duty now though :D
Well done on the losses everyone :T
Dizzy -so glad your OP went well -they let you out sharpish didn't they  -you weren't doing "speed soup trumps" were you :rotfl: -perhaps they were aware that you are needed to drive our tank ;).. keep those feet up and make the most of the rest ;)

-well b*gger my ole boots - I am now officially a 12st something person:j ..ok its 12st 13.5lbs ,,,,, but the first number is still 12
SO then thats another 1.5lbs done n dusted this week and now time to start work on the next stone ;)

Yesterday I got out my old size 30 trousers :o -dear god, its only when I see them that I realise how far I have come and Im determined to never go back there again , I also got out a pair of jeans that have been in my cupboard since the year dot (when I found them I thought they were one of my nieces from when they stayed years ago) then I saw they were a size 16 -so they must have been mine at some time -now last time I tried them on a couple of months ago I couldn't get them past my calfs (even though I have other 16s I wear )-well now they, a pair of 16 new jeans, a pair of new black jeans ALL FIT (and there is no stretch in them) -they still cling across my "fatta podge" but they are a little loose on the waist AND on the legs -I really do think it is the badminton that is helping shape up my legs as I must have lost loads from my legs and backside -just need to get the fatta podge to catch up and we are away
So now the only trouser in my "waiting to fit wardrobe" are 2 pairs of 14s I got in the sales.... I need to go through all the other stuff in there that I got in the sales and see what I can move over to wear now . I can now start keeping an eye out for size 14s to get ready *I have developed a clothes fetish *

ooooh and hubby has gone for his golf comp part 2 today -and he has had to take his suit with him for the presentation and well me thinks he needs a new suit -it WAS getting a bit tight and now he looks like a little lad wearing his dads suit :rotfl:

I have just about sorted out my exercise plan for this week -it should look like this:-
    Sunday -
    rest day = 10 syns
    Monday-
    gym and walk back =15syns
    Tuesday -
    gym + at least 1.5hrs badminton =20syns
    Wednesday -
    gym and walk back =15syns
    Thursday -
    rest day = 10 syns
    Friday -
gym and hopefully at least 1.5hr badminton=20 syns
    Saturday -
    hopefully 1.5hr badminton =10 syns
That's my plan so far -although the fri/sat badminton depends on the availability of the court -so keep your ...
I just need to finalise my food plan and then Im all set for the rest of the week :D

my red carb curfew for today looks like this -I know it looks a bit odd but I wasn't hungry for a proper lunch -cooked brekkies do that to me :-
    9am
    2 bacon (4)
    scrambled eggs (1)
    baked beans
    (B)
    1pm
    Apple
    75g semi dried apricots (B)
    10 almonds
    (5)
    6pm
    roast chicken
    lettuce
    cucumber
    tomato
    peppers
    beetroot
    onion
    celery
    radish

    9pm
    pineapple

    500ml semi (2xA)
SO that comes in at 2A+2B and 10 syns ..smack on target

Right enough yapping -I will get off and catch up... have a lovely day everyone....

Well, back from our week in Cumbria/Scotland - can't believe i've lost 2lb. O/H lost 3 as well.
We did try & be good, but were on holiday, so had nice meals - didn't have the fried breakfasts we would have normally had, and no crisps with the lunchtime sarnie.
Did lots of walking, so that obviously helped.
    Back on plan tomorrow.

    Well done all other loosers.

Omelettes - I whisk eggs + seasoning, pour into pan. While bottom [of omelette not my !!!! :D] is cooking add ingredients i.e onions, mushroom, peppers, tomatoes etc, cook through. May even bung under grill for a bit before adding cheese then put back under grill. Remove, fold omelette in half and serve. HTHS

I ended up with scrambled egg... :rotfl: I figured it'd surely be okay to put some cottage cheese in the eggs before putting them in the pan.... nope, scrambled eggs ;)

I put cottage cheese in the eggs, beat well then tip into a hot pan. Stop stiring the mixture in the pan when it starts to set & smooth it out over the pan. leave the bottom to cook then put under a hot grill - as previously suggested. OH was very suspicious of cottage cheese omlette, but loved it!

What have I done different? I have added in more superfrees - I am taking in a dish of fruit to snack on during the day at work....

...... None of this 'I'm bored/sad/happy/tired/hungry/fed up' type of excuses. One of the reasons I am any of these is because I am fat.

So what is the answer - read the plan - learn it and follow it - it does work if you are committed to improving both your appearance and health.
Well done Mags! And you do hit the nail on the head with your reasons for being fed up etc ... it is in our own hands.

Well done Mags! You've lost such a lot :)

Stupid question, how do I make omelettes? I've never made one but the OH always adds in milk and butter, is there a way of making them without the butter? :o
"real" omelettes don't have milk, but butter in them is fabulous. Don't they use "making an omelette" as a way to weed out the good chefs from the bad, supposed to be cooked in just a few seconds, no messing around beating things to a fluff etc. Anyway, I would abandon the milk it only means you have to cook it longer. But if you want a butterytaste with real butter I can recommend (again) Lakeland Butter Buds. They seem expensive but you'd need about a quarter sachet on an omelette. A sachet certainly lasts me two to three sprinklings.

    Morning everyone,

I am wondering if you would mind if I jumped on the tank too, have a read of thread most days and think I made a random input a while ago but I am having problems and need a huge kick up the bum. Been going to group for a couple of months but put on half a pound two weeks running now, have been finding it so hard to stick too and already this morning I have totally gone off the track. Now I know if I stick to it I can do it but the glue does not seem to be working. Thought that maybe sharing my blip here may help as you all are doing so well, hope thats ok. :)
erm.... you might want to change your name, Choccie - cos every time I see that written down I want some. Change it to Superfree or Broccoli or something :rotfl:Stick here and share your blips though!
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Well done mags and all you losers out there!!

Red day for me, want to know, do i eat to much????????

B: Baby bell (was just an hour before lunch) (1/2 HEA)
L: turkey sandwich, hm veg soup (HEB)
D: Roast chicken, cabbage & leak, carrot & turnips, gravy (3)
    Milk in teas (1/2 HEA)
Chicken wings (got some in the fridge need eating up) about 10 of them I think
Punnet of strawbs & muller light
Cadbury highlights made with full fat milk (2)(1/2 hea)
    2 alpen lights (HEB)

Thats 1.5 HEA, 2 HEB, 5 syns and what seems like a heck of a lot of food. I know I don't need to eat chicken wings, but they will end up in the bin otherwise, and it is a red day, but I want to know truthfully, do I consume too much, maybe this is what is stalling my weight loss??
    Thanks x
