Geez, I just watched the youtube video on how to make Diet Coke Chicken (just wanted to check the sauce does thicken really
) because I'm having it tonight and the comments that guy got were horrible! Calling him anorexic, giving him abuse for using frozen onion, saying all dieters stop being healthy just to slim down... obviously they know nothing about SW but it's not nice reading.

Good evening
A good green day for me today, adn I'm looking forward to a healthy weekend. I'm very pleased with myself for resisting all the cakes and biscuits in the office this week - there were a LOT!!
So today...::
oats, berries and yog (B)
fruit
3 x ryvitas and babybel light (A and
ff yog
more fruit
And I think I'll have a mammouth jacket potato with cottage cheese and a mega salad for dinner when I get back from dropping my angel child with his dad for the weekend.
My skin looks great at the moment, I'm sure it's all the fruit, plus I've been getting through a good 2 litres of sparkling water every day, it seems to be working its magic!!
Happy Friday one and all!Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -

Hi,
I know what you mean about your skin - mine looks loads better too. I've never really had bad skin but it just looks clean and glowing if you know what I mean? My late thirties wrinkles also look less pronounced!0 -

We are staying in a youth hostel ( cheapest accom we could find!) and i need ideas for breakfast for me and DD2! Normally I'm a porridge and a ton of fruit gal, but we are limited on what we can carry.
Has anyone got any ideas? I don't want to be succumbing to temptation...
Sainsbury sell single pots of quick oats for 99p. I saw them the other day, just add boiling water.0 -

LOL, maybe it was flapjacks, I knew it was something oaty. I bought porridge oats and had nothing to do with them. I know I could of eaten them but I wanted to cook something sweet and yummy.
I would definately recommend twinks hob nobs but I would reduce the amount in the receipe. One batch makes about 30 medium size hob nobs and they are VERY morish and one always leads to more! I think I am going to make 1/4 of a batch tonight as then once the kids have dipped in, there will not be many left.
Can I ask, if you make a recipe and some of the ingrediants is free (oats) do you count the syns in the recipe or not? I did, but I guess that as it is a 'free food' you do not have to count it.0 -
Just wondered if anyone had tried melting 1 tbs of chocolate spread and putting it in some quark.
Is it going to taste like chocolate cheesecake like my head imagines it is going to....? Only 2 syns!0 -
Oats are not free - only a healthy extra B choice.
If you are taking them as your HE then you can deduct 6 syns from the total (there may be more oats than you get for your HE) otherwise you have to syn them as usual.0 -
Oh crap, I did syn them last time though. I was thinking I could eat more that I had allowed for.
Would not want to waste a HEB on biscuits, I need that for breakfast.
Still trying to get my head around it all, I am on day 10. Was surpsied I could have Pasta & Sauce, Cheese & Broccoli for 1/2 syn. I have been to the Harvester today and had chicken breast and potatoes but filled up on salad first so there would have been some syns in the mayo (light) and roll.
I am trying not to touch the syns daily and eating as much free food as I can, and save them for a 'rainy day'.0 -

Bleurgh! Quark is horrid stuff, I tried to put some garlic in a tub of it to make a topping but quark is such an odd texture. So, my professional opinion is that it'd be minkin'Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0
