    well blow me down, I responded to the above post then went further and read that you are doing it all online ... so I've change what I wrote, to this. Shame your OH wouldn't go to group with you, we love men in our group :)

    I just told him that and he is now saying "Oh we'll go next week then ;)" :rotfl:

    Evening all

    Sorry too braindead to read and remember anything! Hope you are all well. Didn't post yesterday as I was out on a date last night :D it did mean I ended up having popcorn for tea though! But had no other syns so should be ok

    Green Day today:

    B - shreddies (HEB), skimmed milk (HEA)
    L - jacket spud, cheese (HEA + HEB), coleslaw (7syns)
    D -
    Snacks - noodles
    Drinks - coffee, water, squash
    Exercise - 40 minute walk to/from work

    Total syns = 7

    I have no idea what to have for dinner. I had some leftover egg noodles when I got home from work at half4 so not that hungry, and I CBA to cook!

    B- 2 weetabix (B) Milk (A) Banana honey (1 syn)
    L-pack of ryvita minis (B) 3 laughing cow light (A) Tomatoes, rocket
    Activia snackpot with strawberries
    D- Jacket with beans, marmite, 2 laughing cow light (leftover from lunch B) brocolli spears, tomatoes
    Activia snackpot rice pudding.
    Snacks; Breakaway (5) options drink (1.5)

    Please correct me if things have changed ;)

    Congratulations Mr & Mrs Woot, the photos look wonderful, looks like you had a great day and you both look fantastic. What a gain though :eek: but I'm sure like someone else said its probably mostly water retention and being a bloke you'll soon shift it .

    Am so tired am having trouble stringing 2 words together :o had a good day though.

    B - weetabix hotwater/milk [part a] coffee
    L - mugshot, couscous quiche, pineapple, melon, activia, breakaway [5]
    T - sw chips, roasted onions, 2x quorn sausages, egg, toms, beans, bbq sauce [2]
    Snacks - toms, pineapple, 3x apples, melon, onken
    Syns - 7
    Haven't had both HEs can't be arsed now :o
    Am so stuffed from tea I can't move :rotfl:

    I don't feel very slim at the moment [PMT & * week looming] but a [very thin] work colleague commented as I went to pass her today and I quote " Are you fading away" :eek: I'm not as slim as her so if I'm fading away she must be invisable :rotfl:maybe it was the very black trousers I was wearing, I know black is supposed to be slimming but come on :rotfl:
    Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    I chop them up into nice thick chips and put them in the microwave for ten mins, they are pretty soft after that and then into a hot oven for 5-10mins to brown.
    First weigh in after my wedding and 2 week all inclusive honeymoon in Mexico - gained 24lbs :D:cool:

    We had actually left the house to go to the group for the first time. And then the OH decided he'd rather not go and just do it alone and as I just wanted to do it online originally we decided that one of us would open an online account (for all the bits and pieces) and the other can put their WI each week on a spreadsheet.
    I pretty much did the same thing Drea, I wanted to join a class and last minute I lost my bottle, so I joined online. I did it for 3 months online, which ran out last month, and I easily stuck to it. I miss having the syns calculator, but other than that, I know the ways of eating now so don't miss it that much. I do recommend online, although I am sure class would be better but I am a scaredy cat :rotfl:

    Using my syn calculator for the very first time ;)

    It says 4 syns per serving.

    Mine can be a bit hit and miss but I think that maybe because oven temperature varies depending on what else I'm cooking at the same time.

    Does everyone parboil and for how long? What about with sweet potatoes? I read somewhere about microwaving a whole potato and then cutting it into wedges. Does anyone do that?

    SW chips I pour Boiling water on them then bring back to the boil....boil for 4 min. drain & shake well in the pan to rough the edges up. spray & cook on 200 to 220 for 20 to 30 mins turning once.

    SW wedges Ive found work best by microwaving 1st for about 6 min til they just start to cook, then cut up into wedges. cook as you would chips. ;)

    Tesco Light Choices Cranberry & Blackcurrant Cereal Bars - bit confused with these. On the syn calculator it says they are 3.5 syns but on the "Latest Healthy Extras" page they are listed there as 1 bar. Does this mean that 1 bar can be counted as a HE? It doesn't say if it's A or B or anything so not sure whether I'm right or not...
