    Afternoon all!
    Hope everyone is doing well?

Have a good time at the pub SusieBear!

Today's food so far has been...
Breakfast - Hifi bar (B choice)
Mid morning - reduced fat houmous (B choice) and 3 breadsticks (3 syns)
Lunch - strawberries and grapes, 3 biscuits:o (9 syns) (no time for anything else, hence the biscuits - bad me!)

Not sure what to have for tea yet - it'll have to be syn free to make up for the stupid biscuit gluttony - why oh why can't I just have one?

Maybe I'll make some chilli butter bean type of thing with chopped tomatoes, chilli, onion, pepper and spinach, served with brown rice - can take some for lunch tomorrow too .......... yes, good idea!!!!

ETA - just read that back and my tea sounds like a throw back to the hippie seventies! Well, I am a veggie!

Personally I think you did awfully well to stop at 3 - many people would have ploughed through half a packet :rotfl:

Hi everyone, I wanted to drop in as I am going to my first SW meeting tomorrow morning. I've had my 'final supper' of egg and chips and some biscuits tonight. I'd like to keep up with chat and recipes so I hope no-one minds me dropping in.

You'll be delighted to know that you can still have egg and chips along with mushy peas or baked beans, absolutely syn -free :T

Looking forward to reading your posts during your Slimming World journey :)

I love the stuff and have just got a free coupon in the post for a 750ml bottle. I'm guessing it is pretty bad ;)
Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.

question - how long do you think quorn bol will keep in the fridge?? i made it monday night and there is still loads of it left!! i dont mind eating it every night (will turn it into chilli con carne) but i dont really have any room in the freezer

I think it should keep until the end of the week in a fridge, if there's still some left you may have freezer space by then - or invite someone round to share it with you :D

I have survived a day at Africa Alive [Suffolk] with 29 Reception children and PMT [not a good combination :p] and only had 6 syns :T.
    Food so far:
    B - weetabix hot water/milk [part a] coffee
L - Left over potato & onion bake [part a], bbq sauce [1], pineapple, melon, activia, couscous quiche, breakaway [5]
T - not sure yet but have more potato bake left so may have that with spaggy hoops & roasted tomatoes oh & bbq sauce [1] :p
Snacks - pineapple, 3x apple, melon, onken.
well done on dealing with the sprogs & PMT! I fancy that potato & onion bake!

Well I've definitely had my body magic today, the kitchen man has finally finished the kitchen and I've been moving and rearranging and ...erm.. dusting. I am sure I found dust dating back to 1980 when I bought this place, it was humming Phil Collins tunes. I've now got all my recipe books actually in the kitchen, split into English, Italian, other European, Indian, Turkish/Middle Eastern, American. Just realised I didn't notice any chinese ones and yet I used to have some Ken Lo cookbooks, wonder who I loaned those to? Oh and half a shelf of virtually virginal SW cookbooks :rotfl:
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

I love the sound of your holiday dizzy, and there's loads of time to lose before November. How far are you from target?

I did make good choices at the pub tonight. I had baked fish on spinach and tomatoes with a side of fresh veg and new potatoes. Potatoes had butter and I had a small glass of wine but that was all.:)

I'm finding late night munchies getting to me, not in a synful way but I'm just worried that maybe I'm eating too much food. As I'd had dinner earlyish for me I've just eaten a small baked potato, cottage cheese and beetroot. At this rate I'll have to start going to bed straight after tea.:rotfl:

Well....Mr Dizzy wants me to stop when I reach 10 stone - the weight I was when we met (I'm 11st 4 now) BUT its not about what MrDizzy wants! ;):rotfl:
I'm thinking possibly around 9st 2, Im 5ft 3 so I'l just have to see how I feel as I go along I suppose. So Ive got anything up to 2 stone still to shift before november

On the subject of late night munchies......
I've been getting these every time I do red days  I usually end up with 3 slices of ham rolled up with cottage cheese inside and some tomato and a yog :o

well done you! I work as an MSA in a primary school and we were gleefully looking forward to tomorrow when all KS2 will be out.....

Not any more - I've been co-opted onto the yr 3/4 trip - a day at Murton being a roman beckons..........

I'm going to have to be very good for the rest of the week until weigh in next Tuesday.....today I got a message to say a mate from Uni days would be in York for 2 hours this afternoon - and did I fancy meeting for a pint?

So I raced across town to the station (via M&S to pick up some lunch - an Indian rice chicken salad - nom) and when we hit the pub at the station mate looked at me and said 'pint or a half?'

So 2 pints of Guinness later........ I will have to watch my sins very carefully for the rest of the week.......

    I DID enjoy it though..........

Hope everyone else is having a good week....
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

We bought some fat free yoghurts last night called Yoo (I think it's only Tesco who sell them), was wondering if anyone knew how many syns they were?

Not as bad as 7 syns so don't worry - they get a free food allowance for the fat free yoghurt and are 2/2.5 syns each depending on flavour
