I love the sound of your holiday dizzy, and there's loads of time to lose before November. How far are you from target?
I did make good choices at the pub tonight. I had baked fish on spinach and tomatoes with a side of fresh veg and new potatoes. Potatoes had butter and I had a small glass of wine but that was all.:)
I'm finding late night munchies getting to me, not in a synful way but I'm just worried that maybe I'm eating too much food. As I'd had dinner earlyish for me I've just eaten a small baked potato, cottage cheese and beetroot. At this rate I'll have to start going to bed straight after tea.:rotfl:0 -

After some inspiration ladies(and gents) doing a beef stirfry for tea any ideas for a nice sauce rather than just soy?
thanks Shaz
I know its a bit late now but last night I did a sw teriyaki beef recipe that my mum found in a magazine. You just marinated the beef in teriyaki marinade then stir fried it, added veg (grated carrots, thinly sliced greens, green beans and spring onions) then added the leftover marinade. i served it with noodles (dried ones!) to which I added some sweet chilli dipping sauce, soy sauce and a tiny bit of toasted sesame oil.
The blimming multi quote thing hasn't worked properly! There was another post I wanted to comment on but it hasn't come up and I can't remember what it was now!!
I spent most of last night making sugar flowers and buttrflies ready to decorate the cupcakes I'm making for my friend's birthday party on Friday. We're taking food and drinks to one of those places where you pick a piece of ready made pottery then spend the evening painting it. I'm really looking forward to it!
Today will be Green but will be flexi syns! it's WI day and we always have a treat after! I missed the last 2 WIs as I'm trying to get where I don't have to go every week now I'm at target so it'll be interesting to see what the scales say. I was 2.5lbs under target last time I went so hopefully shouldn't have gone too far over if I have put on!!
Brekkie - beans, egg, WM pitta (HEB) (got loads of eggies to use up!)
Lunch - rice, sweetcorn, cucumber, tomatoes, jalapenos, tuna (3 syns), balsamic vinegar, onin, pineapple for pud.
Tea - HM pizza (1.5 HEA for the cheese, 1 HEB for the meat topping, ??? syns for the base but I do it really thin like pizza express ones)0 -

Morning all, loved my zumba class last night so was glad I made myself go. Few months ago I would be have gone to a class on my own but getting to target has given me some much needed confidence. EE again today:-
B - melon and fibre plus bar (heb)
S - alpen bar (half heb)
L - sw quiche and tomato salad
S - alpen bar (other half heb) apple
D - ham and mushroom omelette with veg
Got our second marriage preparation class tonight and there will be biscuits/cakes so will save my syns for that0 -
:hello:Morning folks!
Finished yesterday on 5 syns :Aand decided that those little cakes were much nicer when they had gone properly cold BUT I have stashed all but 2 in the freezer
Trying for another low syn day today because tomorrow will be a Flexiday  Meeting up with friends after work for a drink or 3 and something to eat, trouble is the veggie choices usually involve cheese, pastry or often both  and somehow a jacket with beans isn't my idea of a meal out! I won't go too mad though and I certainly won't have a lot to drink coz Friday is a heavy-duty day in work:( and I'll need my wits about me.
Todays plan:
B: polenta, eggs, ketchup(1)
S: yoghurt and banana
L: salad with roast sweet potato and feta (HE) with balsamic dressing (1)
S: more fruit if I need it and maybe and oaty barSW quiche, wedges and beans

Morning all
Something weird happened to me last night. I made some flapjack (to take somewhere on Sat, not really for me). Anyway, I cut myself a VERY small piece (quality control of course) and it just tasted sooooo sweet. OH said its fine, but honestly, left to me I would chuck it all in the bin and start again. So I wonder if my tastes have changed that much?
I felt properly sick afterwards too, could taste the sugar for ages. It made me wish I hadnt eaten it at all.0 -
I'm glad I caught up with yesterday's posts - now I know it's not just me. I put on 2lbs this week as well:eek:
I think it was a combination of things. Last week I thought I may have put a bit on, so, having the day off last Tuesday I opted to go to the morning weigh in, with lighter clothes. Got away with putting on half a pound. Of course it caught up with me last night - who did I think I was kidding? I also had to have my tea before weigh in, which I have never done before, but circumstances meant I had to.
Maybe it's time I realised that I just can't cheat and hope to lose weight. It's so simple really - stick to the plan and it works. So why don't I just get on with it?
I'm drawing a line and looking for that tank..............0 -
morning,
i have found i have got really lazy with my cooking. when i get home i really cant be bothered to make anything.
last night instead of boiling some pasta to go with my quorn mince (which just needed reheating) - i decided i couldnt be bothered and did a 2 minute microwave rice instead! though it was better than the pizza i was thinking of ordering.
really need to get my act together with this to save syns and money!!
anyway today should be a green day;
b - starbucks frapaccino (hea), hifi (heb), strawberries
l - cous cous salad (2 cos it has olive oil in the ingredients list), ww yogurt, 2 babybel (hea), 3 x satsumas
d - quorn spag bol
question - how long do you think quorn bol will keep in the fridge?? i made it monday night and there is still loads of it left!! i dont mind eating it every night (will turn it into chilli con carne) but i dont really have any room in the freezer0 -

Apologies for being flippant but that sounds like you're preparing for your second marriage;):) or are you going to be another of those lovely slim brides that we have on here?
Totally EE, syn free day today and I'm going to try to keep overall quantity of food down too:
B: NAS squash, HEB toast, bacon, egg, tomatoes, mushrooms, HEA milk for teas
L: ham & tomato sandwich, grapefruitbaked cod, tomatoes, mushrooms, peas (or maybe green beans), sweet potato wedges
Snacks: sad looking fruit and tiny bit of cottage cheese (trying to finish off stuff before hols).0
